Just got back from the store and found out the the Private Selection Turkey is also .27/lb instead of the .67/lb that is in the ad. The butcher told us this and sure enough that is how it rang up even though all the signs say .67/lb.
I don't know if there is a difference - but now I have one of each :BigHand:
Also, the butcher told us if they did not have the size we wanted, just bring back our receipts tomorrow (as long as we spent over $20) and we could get one then.
This was at the Kroger on 290 and Spring Cypress.

If you have time, can you look at the ingredients on the PS turkey and see if it has
Casein or butter labeled on it??
I haven't been to kroger all week to check them.......

Just checked my receipt because I bought a PS turkey today and is WAS NOT .27/lb. but was the advertised .67/lb. It is the one with the butter. So be careful because it's obviously YMMV.

My store was out of the Jennie-O's so they were subbing the PS at .27/lb. (they were however originally advertised for .67/lb) Also be careful...fresh Jennie-O's are something like .97/lb, only the frozen ones are .27/lb.
