:wavehi: I'd like to know too. I recently moved to an area with a Farm Fresh and I don't know anything about the store except that they double $1 q's on Wed. I haven't shopped there much because I'm not familiar with it and they don't have as friendly service as at Harris Teeter. But I might go there more often if they have good deals.

Well, I've started reading other websites for this store, but I feel guilty every time I stray. But there's really nothing on here anymore about this store, so what's a girl to do?
Moderators? Do you need volunteers?

I am an avid FF shopper and hardcore couponer. I do GREAT at FF and use the lists from a variety of sites to compile my personal shopping list. I will try to start posting here on this forum to try to jump start it, as the other places seem to be doing fine. I would hate to see someone come here and miss out on some fab deals because no one is posting them!

I would love a volunteer to moderate the Farm Fresh forum!!
The job for a small forum like this one is not too difficult. It mostly consists of making sure the best deals for the week are posted as well as the coupon matchups, and then making sure that everyone's posts fall within FarmFresh's and Hot Coupon World's policies and then acting accordingly if they do not. And then of course, keeping the forum clean by editing, deleting, merging threads together, as needed.
We do ask that moderators be a registered member for at least a few months and to have at least 100 or so posts - we just want to be sure that you've been here long enough to know the rules since you'll be responsible for enforcing them within the forum.
We also usually ask that the member be active within the forum they are volunteering for, obviously in a quiet forum like this one, that's not so easy to do!!!
If anyone has any questions at all about the mod position for Farm Fresh (or for any of our other unmodded forums) please let me know and I'll be glad to answer them for you!!!

annieflies - if you could start posting any deals that you find that would be great, and I extend that same invitation out to everyone else!!!
A busy forum needs people talking - and if we can get a couple of people to start the conversations rolling, then it's all uphill from there and more people will start talking!!!

I am in Kansas, but my sister came over the holidays. After seeing my stockpile, she wants to learn to coupon. I am teaching her, and I googled all of the grocers in her area. I found a Farm Fresh that is only miles from her. I am interested in getting this forum up and going for her sake. I am going to make an effort to post the ads, or at least do a little match-up. If anyone would like to contribute, that would be awesome!
I've never even heard of Farm Fresh, but I have a feeling that it can be pretty amazing!

With Farm Fresh buying out Ukrop's, this may become a busy place....who knows, but that's why I stopped by to see what kind of deals were at Farm Fresh. I'm not a Ukrop's shopper, but I look forward to another store to get deals at.

I'm going to visit my mom and sister this weekend and was hoping to show them the ropes.... looks like FF is the best store in their area for coupons. When does the new FF ad come out? I was hoping to get a jump start on the deals before driving up on Thursday!

New ad starts Wednesday. You may be able to find it online after 12am. Also check out the store you go to cause Wednesday is normally $1 double days - meaning coupons up to $1 double as long as they don't say do not double.

Sure, we welcome any volunteers that would like to post ads, deals and such. I know you all can get this forum going!

With the ad arriving on the only day that doubles up to $1, it is really hard to post things on here to help others with the good deals. I was getting ready to scratch Farm Fresh off my list because I have other options for good deals in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area, but they pulled me back in today. I have 3 stores within 5 miles of my house and I hit each one. I scored big by combining the Wednesday $1 doubles with some in-ad $10 off your next order for Conagra and Proctor and Gamble. I was able to get free Dannon yogurt and Caprisun, and super cheap Hunts tomatoes and spaghetti sauce, popcorn, Hunts pudding snack packs, Angel soft and charmin toilet paper. And, I have enough on my receipts to qualify for the coupon mail-ins from P & G and Conagra.
In the past Farm Fresh has been very particular about the coupons. Today, they manually entered in IP's that did not scan, and ignored all DND notations on the coupons. If it started with a 5, it doubled and they allowed it through at all three stores. They still enforced the "only two like items" doubled and the 20 maximum doubled rules.
I wish someone could get the ad and post on here at least one day before. I was definitely scrambling between work and the stores!
