Hi All,
I'm new to this site & hope I'm doing this correctly. I've been reading this site for a few weeks now and have learned a lot!!! Thanks so much!
I attempted to purchase 2 ThermaCare products (3 pk Neck to Arm) last night & this morning, but both times came across issues. The first 3 IP always went thru fine, but the 2nd one always beeped. I tried having the BA scan the other IPs that I had and/or the 2 Q from the Sunday paper, (for my 2nd TC product) again - beep.
My shopping list going in -
2 ThermaCare (2 x 5.98) - 6 IP = 5.98 two q's
Ricola 1.00 - .50 IVC .50 ivc doesn't count, right?
Aussie 2.99 - 1 Q 1.99 q
8.47
less 8 RR (J&J)
Is anyone else having issues with the 2nd IP and/or Q?
The funny thing - I'd made the exact same purchase yesterday afternoon twice, & the IP's were working, but weren't in the evening.
Thanks in advance!

If the total is over the amount of the items you're buying, the second q will beep. I am not familiar with the thermacare deal, but if the items are $2.99/ea, and you're using 2 $3 q's, the second one will eep b/c it's over the amount of the two items added together.

That transaction should have worked, but I have heard of the IVCs counting towards the coupon count and I have had it happen to me on the TheraFlu. But, that is usually only an issue on an item that I am using both an IVC and Mfg.
Was the ThermaCare the last coupon she was trying to scan? I have been holding onto the IVC until last lately and haven't had issues. (Except a cashier that got upset and told me I should have given her the RRs last... oh well)

I know that technically the IVC's are not supposed to count towards coupon/product ratios, but they do in my stores here in eastern NC. If I use one for 3 products it only counts as 1 or if I use one for one product it counts as one. Once I figured that out, it saved me alot of frustration towards WAGS. I don't know if that it is the case for you. I think most people in this forum don't count IVC's and have no problems. Maybe try adding one cheap filler and then using the coupon and see if it beeps. If it still beeps, then I'm clueless.

If the price is 5.98 and the IP is 6.00 the beep could mean the coupon has to be entered at 5.96 for the second one.
The Breeze machines beeped on everyone and were lowered to 14.99 from 30.00
~Can someone confirm this?

the breeze 2 coupon doesn't beep, it asks to put in the price of the item.
It should NEVER be given at the full $30.......

I've had the same thing happen. Some one said to look at the bar codes on the boxes and get the ones that start with 0573 and not 37000. I tried that today and the second coupon still beeped, then the cashier pressed subtotal and the coupon scanned fine. She said it was just the register being finicky.

both of mine beeped but like PP said it has to do with the barcodes. old packs have 37000, coupons start with 0573X.. cashier read and checked date, put them thru manually. there are no 2.99 2pk+, OP meant 5.99 each.

Even if you only purchased the TC products & had them scan the q's - the register beeped.
I discovered that of the 5 locations that I went to (I live in a big city) - I was able to make the purchases easily at 2 locs & had the beeping issue at 3 locations (my 5th loc put them thru manually). I think it's a location issue?
At the 3 locations that I had beeping issues - it was for the 3 pk (neck/shoulder/wrist) and for the ones on clearance (hand/wrist - gold package)

My TC coupons wouldn't even scan and the cashier had to manually enter them. I still want to do this deal again but will have to go to another store since mine is out and hopefully I'll get another coupon friendly cashier!

Right and with the OP, a $6 coupon cannot be used for a $5.98 item... thus why perhaps the beep as the second coupon needed to be $5.96.

I went to two stores today too...only buying the clearanced wrist ones for $3.69. The q's weren't able to be scanned and at the first store the second one beeped. She called a manager who obviously didn't know anything since he started mouthing stuff about using multiple coupons is the problem :whatever!: I was only buying 2 packs and had 2 coupons..paying cash! So...I made him push it through. The next store I went to the q's wouldn't scan nor would they go thru when she tried typing the numbers in. So, if it's got to do with the bar code on the box...that's the only thing that makes sense. I'll try to look at them the next time. In the mean time...I'm going to email Thermacare about the q's and how they're fuzzy and the stores are giving me grief over using them. I'll report back what I find!

I have done this deal twice. Second one beeped. My nice cashier said it may have something to do with the fact it says it can not be combined with any other offer. I thought it was bolgna but then I thought about the fact that I could only print ONE of the qs from my computer ( I have access to 5 computers), so I think that may be problem.
Just My Opinion:wink7:

I've used 3 different ThemaCare coupons this week and they all beeped. Luckily they were put through without a problem.

Okay I figured it out!!! It is because of the bar codes! There's "new" packaging that has a barcode of 037000146131....and the old bar 305733005026 does work and matches the barcode on the coupon itself. The new packing even says "new" on it. So now you know when you go looking. Hopefully you'll be able to do what I did this morning and find one of each and show them this and still get your deal to work. Otherwise prepare for arguments. I've also called Thermacare and they are forwarding the issue to the appropriate dept. and hopefully someone will call me with an update. It'd be nice if a few others could call to complain that the coupons aren't working. I always think this kind of thing gets resolved faster when there's more complaints. Hopefully they'll modify the q and put a new one up b/f this deal is over!

Does anyone remember the value of the RR on this deal?
One of my WAGS is printing RR's with no amount or product information on them. The manager told me they would scan okay when I try to use them but I'm a little leary. I am holding on to my receipt until I redeem them.
