In today's papers across the country meijer's 4-day ad will come out :wink7:
------------------------------------------------------------------

Campbell's Cream of chicken or mushroom 10.75oz is advertised .65

(this was advertised as .58 and everyday best price, I might ad in it's weekly circular that began Sunday ,and ends saturday)

Aunt millie's old fashioned dinner rolls or brown n serve rolls are also in this new 4-day ad, 2/3.00

(this was advertised as 1.29 in the circular sun-sat.)

So, what gives, meijer? :hectic1:Trying to confuse the public even more? Or, are you raising the prices mid-week? And, if that's the case, why did you advertise these in the 7-day ad? Are you running out of ideas for sale items? IMO these items didin't even need to be in this "4-day ad" as its nothing new!

In fact, a review of the 4-day ad

milk 1.75 we already knew this... it was advertised sunday!:rolleyes24:
land o lakes butter 1.99.... yup, knew that one too! :rolleyes24:
maxwell house 5.49... well,golly, it's there too! :rolleyes24:
meijer veggies $1... did u copy and paste from the 7-day? :shrug7:

here's some new ones...
lettuce head .77
pint grape tomato 1.50
5lb grapefruit 2.50
deli roast beef 5.99lb
28oz pudding cake 3.99
market of meijer soup 16oz container 2.99
pilgrims pride chicken breast strips 2lb 3.49... this may actually be a great deal:wink7:
hillshire farms lil smokies 2/5
ground beef sirloin 3.99 1.1lb
pork shoulder picnic roast .99lb

not an exciting ad, but a confusing one...:shrug7: this, along with the 7-day ad's mistake of calling Cup-a-soup "Soup-a-soup" :hysterical: (yeah, check your 7-day meijer ad for that one, folks!) is shaping up to make meijer even more less desirable this week....

thoughts/comments? I'd love to hear them!!:whistle67:

The only mistake they made was putting it in writing! I have noticed for years that they pull stuff like this. This time of the year you really have to be careful. They will raise the price on a toy then advertise it as "sale" when it is just the price it had been all along until a week before the sale!

Once I was looking at a table, I really liked it and looked at it every time I was there. The one day I saw an orange clearance sign! But to my dismay is was the same price it had been all along!

So you really need a price book in my opinion to make sure you win not them!

My only thoughts are that now that they have changed the ad in my area to the small one it is hard to look at the deals posted and know if they are for my local store. Several weeks ago the Farm Rich was 1/2 off, Swifter was maybe 20% off, pepperoni was 1.00-but not in my area.
I have noticed others posting that their store has different brands on sale too.

I normally pull my q's before our local ad gets here because I shop Sunday morning and lately I am hardly using any q's because the deals/brands here are different. It is more difficult to shop there without knowing what is on sale and more time consuming to go from isle to isle in the store to see if anything else is on sale. I have shopped there for 25ish years and I no longer feel I am saving enough money to make it worthwhile to shop there. I am very disappointed since they changed the ads for my area.

Oh yea I am heading over there for some soup-a-soup too. Wonder what happened to the department that checks the ads..

Our ad only has a few food items and its only for saturday. I'm loving the 5.00 off a purchase of 50.00 or more in Meijer gift cards though.

Is the $5 off $50 a coupon available only in the newspaper insert? If it is, I need to buy a daily paper.
In Columbus OH-someone please!

I am wondering the same thing if it will be in store or you have to purchase a paper. Our ad is just a Saturday ad, and the Granola bars and the Bob Evans sausage would be cheap with q's.
Plumrose Bacon 3/$5 not to bad either.
