I submitted 2 rebates to Scotts on time. I just received them back saying I did not buy from more than one category as specified. But I had. I bought TP on one receipt and paper towels on the other and included both receipts. All was in order.
Now what do I do? Do I write a letter pointing out where they are wrong? Both were rejected for the same reason. I looked the rules over and nothing said that both items had to be purchased in the same transaction. The rules said "receipt(s)" which indicated to me it could be on two separate purchases for the rebate.
Anyone else have this difficulty? Why would they reject this? Any suggestions on what to do next? Naturally I purchased these items with the rebate in mind and am very disappointed that this has happened.
Maybe rebating is not for me.
Thanks in advance for help,
Karen
