Meijer has save $8.00 on grade A hen turkeys 10-16lbs w/additional $20.00 purchase but I do not see what the price of these turkeys are per pound?
I'm sure I'm missing it ????

Glen's Market which is a spartan store has Premium Grade A Frozen Self-Basting Turkey 12lbs or large for .29cents a pound with a $25.00 purchase.........this seems crazy cheap and possibly better than the $8.00/$14.00 deal from Meijer?...........on a side note they also have an 8lb bag of michigan russet baking or white potatoes for .99cents

We just got a super wal-mart but in the last advertisement I do not see anything about the cost of their turkey.

:shrug7::shrug7::shrug7::shrug7::shrug7::shrug7: Any ideas where the cheapest turkey would be?

Our super walmart is supposed to have the turkeys for .49/lb but they never seem to get them in. I am going with the meijer deal I believe. There are some coupons for 2.00 a butterball turkey so I think I'm going to use them as well. I hope someone else might have some more info for ya.

My Walmarts are selling turkeys for 40 cents a pound. I have bought 4 already. They were mainly 12-16 pound turkeys. I am hoping that they will get some bigger ones in soon. I'd hate to have to cook three turkeys at once. Last year at Meijer, the week of Thanksgiving I got a 28 pounder for $6.00. They had several $ off deals that could be combined. Not sure if they will do it this year or not though. The turkeys at Walmart are Jenny-o. I fixed one over the weekend and it was pretty good. If you are wanting the WalMart ones, I suggest calling every morning and every evening. That is how I found out that the store had them. I didn't want to drive over several times a day. The turkeys I have bought so far have all been just a little over $5. Hope that helps.

The turkeys at Meijer ranged from 1.19 to 1.69 per pound. I got one since I was buying groceries anyway, but the Spartan store deal is cheaper.

I herd aldis have a good turkey sale but I just checked the ad and they want $1.39 lb. for butterball. Funny but a man at our church got them for .49lb. at aldi and I even saw the tag on the bird with the price. Hmmm?? maybe a one store special.

Our Walmart had them for .40 too, but they are long gone and now are .89 for Jenni-O and Butterball was .98. Our local VG's has them for .29 per # with a $25 purchase.
