Updated my post to reflect this. If someone could remember to post this at the beginning of the weekly sales ad, that would be helpful. I just copy and paste and it's sometimes hard to go back and find this format if it's not posted initially.

Also, Gracie, don't those Post Shredded Wheat q's expire on 11/22? You might want to note that in your deal post. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong q's, but I just thought I'd mention it in case someone shops 11/23-11/25.

Yes, awesome job Stacey! :BigHand:

There was another price I checked...um....oh, Aunt Jemima Waffles, I think those were $2.29, I'm pretty sure because I remember thinking that if there was a 1$/2 mq out it would be around 75c a box. (I need to start writing things down!)

Jen,
It really depends on your store(s). I have no limits, but some have a limit of 4 like coupons/day but I don't know if they have a total limit. If your store only doubles 10 like coupons and you have 4 different coupons then yes you could hand over 40 unless there is a total limit of less than that.

Carolina Rice was on sale for $1.19, laying on the floor was a 0.55/1 coupon, the database say it is from the 8-30 SS and expires 11-30. Doubled this made the rice only 0.09 a bag!! HURRAH!!!

I looked at the tag undernearth these little bags of rice and it had the yellow "Low Price" but didn't have an end date on it like the weekly ad items, I'm wondering if this may be an EPR?

I have the stores that have a 4 like q per day limit. At least at my stores, there isn't a total limit on the number of q's, as long as you don't exceed 4 like coupons.

As I zoomed past the freezer case at my GE today, I noticed they had a printed sign up on the Eggo case saying there was a shortage. Thought that seemed odd. Must be a manufacturer shortage or something.

For the Over the Moon milk, my ad has 2/$5. Not sure if we have different ads, or it is a type-o.
So this:
Over the Moon Milk
2/$4.00 = $2.00 each
-1.00/1 (various sources)
= $1.00 each

Would be:
Over the Moon Milk
2/$5.00 = $2.50 each
-1.00/1 (various sources)
= $1.50 each

Also:
Aunt Jemima Waffles, GDA (MJKNeeley)

I also really like only having one thread per week with the deals summarized on one of the first posts (like jen's been doing). It is much easier to quickly look to find what the deals are and then scan through the posts when you have more time.

I personally don't like having two thread (one for chit-chat). It's too confusing as to what one to read. Just my opinions though.

How much for the Mr Clean?
There are 75/ 1 that will double to 1.50 so if they are 2 for $5 this could be good

4 Mr Clean = 10
4 75cent coupons doubled = -$6 so
4 items for 4 dollars and get back 5oyno?

is this right?

CF Burger 1/2 pt. of whipping cream on sale for $1.99 until 12/02. $0.35/1 coupon in 11/08 RP and on redplum.com (also a $0.55/2 coupon in 11/08 RP).

Final: $1.29 for half pt.
Sale: $1.99
Coupon: $0.35/1
Math: $1.99 - $0.70 = $1.29

Compare 2 of these at $2.58 to GE's pint of heavy cream (price??? on sale???) to see which deal is better. I probably won't get to GE for a couple days but wanted to mention it so you can bring your coupons in case the CF Burger is a better deal.

couple questions..I'm getting confused with wags RR and the OYNOs.

Can you use a OYNO on the same deal? Say I do the popcorn one, can I use that 3 oyno to get 4 more popcorns? is this a YMMV or do you have to do it at a sco?

I'm just trying to minimize my OOP this week. I got 10 or maybe 15 Birds Eye cps, 10 Fabreeze air cps, a few Mr Clean cps, 10 popcorn, 10 or maybe it was 20 swiss miss cps and a few save 1 on Swiss Miss when you buy a redi whip. I wish I could find my $2 oyno from last week.

It's says manufacturer coupon, Save $1.00 off Any One (1) Energizer Product. If you type in Energizer in the database and select the printable you should see it. If not, try looking at the Harris Teeter link for their weekly ad. The link is posted in their match-ups which is one of the first few posts.

I saw the Jello-O coupon in two different booklets at GE:
One is a 4x6 "Homemade and heartfelt desserts", and the front lists Jello, Philly, Bakers, Ziploc, Gen. Foods Intl, Dole.

Yes this is correct and both I believe are going by shelf price.

Swiss Miss alone would need 6 boxes $10.14 Shelf
Orville alone would need 4 boxes $12.72

=2 $3 OYNO Cats

So if you do those together and can buy more like add in $7.14 shelf worth of of those you would get even more cats.

e.g.

Previous $22.86 (6 Swiss Miss 4 Orville)
2 more Orville $6.36

Just an FYI

The Pet Odor Fabreze does not generate the Steeler Bucks.

It is part of the P&G deal and does generate the 5oyno catalina. (the original price is 3.99 not 2.99 like the other smells) hth

No, and I was disappointed because that's what we prefer too. My store had the snack-sized bags (waste of money, IMO) and the butter and kettle corn. That was it.

FYI, was @ 2 giant eagles today and no 2pk batteries to be found. I asked a stock guy @ the last Giant Eagle where I could find the advertised batteries @. He said oh we havent put those out yet. How many do you need? I said 24 and he magically appeared with 2 cases for me. You may want to as if you cant find them.

Was it the pet odor?

We tried everything at the register and service desk. scanned the linen one and it printed right away.

The Pine store did not get their batteries either. They gave me the 4pack for the price of the 2 pack. I only got 3. It was their idea I couldn't say no:whistle67:

Yes, only one cat for P&G Multiple Cats for Swiss Miss (ConAgra)

Last night I blogged on the companies that give multiple cats in one transaction and companies that only give one cat per transaction if anyone needs it for future reference. It's under the Giant Eagle Category.

Cheapest OOP would be to do your Swiss Miss first you need 6 then P&G.

6 Swiss Miss = $6-$3q=$3 oop get $3 OYNO You could keep repeating this until ready for P&G then

Frebreze $10-$4q=$6-$3oyno=$3 oop get the $5 cat

Obviously, I didn't take into account if you wanted to do more than 4 frebreze so if you'd like to give me the numbers, I'll plugged those in for you to see what the best route would be for least oop. ;)

I am so ready to go to the store, but still have the severe brochitis and can't go until probably Monday or Tuesday- ack!
I will for sure be getting the Swiss Miss and Parkay, I 'm waiting on Orville Q's and more Swiss Miss Q's.

Will this work alright (I had issues last week with the Ragu I think and missed out on Cats!)-
10 Parkay -$17.90 shelf $15.00 sale
8 Swiss Miss- $12.72 or $13.52 shelf (too sick to check) $8.00 sale
5 Parkay 75c/2 doubled= $7.50
4 Swiss Miss 50c/2 doubled= $4.00

$11.50 OOP earn 3 $3 cats?

I'd also like to get Reddi Whip and a can of Pam, so maybe do this instead?
6 Parkay $10.74 shelf $9.00 sale
10 Swiss Miss $15.90 or $16.90 shelf $10 sale
1 Pam $3.49 shelf $2.99 sale
4 Reddi Whip $10.00 $8 sale
$29.99 sale
3 Parkay 75c/2 doubled= $4.50
5 Swiss Miss 50c/2 doubled= $5.00
1 Pam 35c doubled= 70c
4 Reddi Whip 50c doubled= $4.00
$15.79 OOP earn 4 $3 Cats?
I'll of course be using a couple of $2 cats I have to pay.

Is there a way to make OOP less?

Your math looks right on to me so it should all work out great. You probably could get less oop by splitting up the transactions. If I work something out, I'll update the post. Boo Bronchitis ;:BigHand:Job opportunity

I haven't got around to the Pam yet and I need to finish brunch for the family, but this is what I have so far: Gah I messed up on #2 So sorry I'm working on it now.

#1 10 Swiss Miss+2 Reddi Whip=$7-$4cats=$3 oop Get 2 $3 Cats

#2 3 RW +2PK= $4.50-$3 cat + $1.50 oop get $3 cat

#3 6 Parkay= $3.50-$3 Cat=$.50 oop Get a $3 Cat

#4 3 Pam $6.87-$6 Cat=$.87 oop Get $3 Cat

Looking at this now I'm sure there is a way to combined a couple transaction and still get less than $6 oop. Am I driving you :hectic1:? :whistle67:

I tried some more scenarios and got nothing else. I don't know your preference, but I think I'd stick with your original plans spending twice the amount oop, but only doing one transaction and have $12 in cats.

1 Orville (- .40/1 q)
2 Parkay (- .75/2 q)

After using the $3 cat and the q's - pay $1.58, rinse and repeat a whole lotta times LOL. I'm getting the 2 pks of the parkay tubs and will donate them to the food bank. I figure they can separate them and give each family one (I have enough q's to get 44 sets or 88 tubs)

I may just be crazy enough to do one trans with 20 Orville, 16 Swiss Miss and one Parkay. That would be $90.83 shelf, $25.30 after coupons, and if I just do the one big trans to get $12 in OYNO, use those and pay 11.30 to get $27 worth of OYNO. Does that make me super crazy pants? I really really want my Q's now! They should be here Tuesday or Wednesday :whistle67:.

side note- I just checked the paper and hopefully I can get the one job or the one I found today. Another store owned by my old employer is hiring in parts, since I know the owner of these dealerships (he's got so many) I hope I might have an in! Well right off the bat your going to have to do 5 transaction of mr.clean/febreze... they all have to be separate... If it were me this is what I would do

Trans 1,2,3
10.00 4 febreze
12.00 12 sm Sale (20.14 12 SM shelf)
- 6.00 6 SM Q
- 4.00 4 febreze Q
$12.00 - OOP & get $5 & 2 $3 cats - OOP for trans 2 & 3 = $1

Trans 4,5
10.00 - 4 febreeze/mrclean
15.90 - 10 orville (31.80 shelf)
-4.00 - 4 febreze Q
-8.00 - 10 orville Q
-11.00 -cats from order 3
$2.90 - OOP and get $5 & 3 $3 cats

You will have 2 swiss miss Q's and 2 febreeze or mr.cleans Q's left at the end. Also you will have a $3 cat from trans 4 and a $5 & 3 $3 cats left from trans 5.

I hope this at least made a little sense..

Uh oh - 2 yr olds are taking over the world:hysterical:

You have to do the P&G in separate transactions in order to get the $5 cat - so, 4 items at a time (if you get steeler bucks - add in 1 birdsey veggie and also get the $5 in steeler bucks). If you have 2 dawn hand renewal from Nov P&G, get 2 of them and the 2 Mr. Clean - no steeler bucks for them though).

40 Swiss Miss would be $67.60 shelf if you add in 1 Pam, shelf total would be $61.xx - Sale price would be $42.99 minus $20 for the swiss miss and minus .70 for the pam. Pay $22.29 and get back $18 in cats.

20 popcorn would be $63.60 shelf and add in 2 pam for a total of $72.xx in shelf. Sale price would be $37.70 minus $16 for the popcorn q's and $1.40 for the pam q's - pay $23.10 and get back $21 in cats.

You're going to have to do 6 transactions no matter what to use the febreeze and Mr. Clean q's.

Not sure if you can use more than 1 $3 cat in an order.

I noticed GE has the Melitta coffee filters on sale for $1.25. There's a printable on Smartsource for $1/2 40ct cone filters or one 100 ct.

Melitta Cone Filters, GDA (cheapchick)
TOTAL: 75c for 40ct
SALE: $1.25
MQ: $1/2 40ct or 1 100ct Coupons | Online Coupons (http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=5S2ZUA6PWPEPO)
MATH: $1.25 - $1/2 = 75c

I just bought some at Aldi's; you get 100 for $1.59(?) but Melitta has white, natural, and bamboo filters in sizes 1, 2, 4, and 6 so if you need a weird size it's a pretty good deal.

I was able to pay with 2 of the $3 cats - I wasn't about to press my luck with 3 of them, but two worked fine.

I used 3 with no problems.

Another deal I didn't see mentioned:

Libby's Canned vegetables 20/$10 (.50) - .50/2 IP in database = FREE

I'm grabbing some for the Food Bank!

I was able to use 4 in one transaction. They do technically say in the teeny red fine print on the back that you can only use one per transaction, so using multiples beep at my store. But my cashier hit some button beforehand that let them all go through (maybe a manager log in number or something? I was distracted for a second there...) This was my awesome cashier who will do basically anything for me.

Can someone help me? I have 4 $1/2 swiss miss, 4 $1/2 orville red, and 4 $1/2 reddi whip. What is the best deal I can do with these? I don't have to use them all, but would like to do the deal at least once.
Thanks so much!

This isn't in the ad but would be nice for someone whose store doubles up to $1. The True North snacks are $3 on sale. If you have the $1/1 q, they are $1. The pistachio crisps are delicious and some of them have TMF rebates on them. I don't know the end date on these.

If you want to do small transactions,

6 SM, $3 after q's minus $3 cat - $0

4 Orville - minus 2 q's - $4.36 minus $3 cat - $1.36

4 Reddi Whip - minus 2 q's - $6 minus $3 cat - $3
