i was told that it was the same sale as last week. Buy $25 in Kraft items, take $10 off meat (turkey, ham or any other meat product), but with the reduced price in turkey's(probably in response to walmarts pledge of "no turkeys over 40c/lb") I don't know if they will have same sale as last year.....so who know's?

11-15-2009, 08:49:30 PM
ooh, I remember that one. I would love it to be that again. DH goes through bacon like crazy, and it was part of the deal, and considered meat. Now my hopes are up :)

CatYo
11-16-2009, 05:26:07 PM
Maybe it's just me cause I'm just so tired , But I don't know what that mean's ? 38 cents a pound I have seen them cheaper then that at most stores here but you have to spend $50.00 I have everything but my turkey and roll's ,

I think it means that she purchased a 20+ pound turkey at reg price to reach the $25, and then automatically received the discount so she ended up only paying $7 for it? She didn't have to purchase a bunch of other "stuff" to get to her $25. The turkey did it for her. ??? I think?

Great price on a turkey... even though we already have one for Thanksgiving, I might have to pick up another one to save for Christmas. I was hoping for a great deal on a bone-in ham, though. :( But there are a few things I see, so hopefully I can get to the $25 needed for the turkey.

Major reps to Benichole and Melodyjg!! Thanks, guys! I was kind of hoping that the cat deal from this week would extend to next week so I could use doublers, but oh well...
And, yes, the Thanksgiving week sales run on slightly different dates. If I remember correctly, there's sometimes a kind of 'dead' time between Black Friday and the next ad. Don't know if they'll do that again this year.

Thanks for the preview Melody and Benichole! :wavehi:

So here's one scenario I'm thinking of doing. I was lucky enough to find 3 of the B2G1 Kelloggs peelies, so:

10 Froot Loops: $25
- (3) B2G1: $7.50
- (7) $1/1 Blinkies $7
= $10.50 for 10 Froot Loops, 2 gallons of milk, 4 bowls, and then submit the receipt for $10 rebate, for a final cost of .50!

I just need to go to the "nice" albies to make sure I don't have any problems using all of these at once, and I'm set!

What rebate is this for? I didn't know there was a current Kellogg's rebate??

Its the Kelloggs calendar rebates that were out and really hot here a couple months ago or so. 8 rebates each worth 10.00, send in receipt for 10 kelloggs items get back 10.00 on a gift card.

Where is the Del Monte IP? There was one listed for coupons.com, but it's not there anymore. I was wondering if there's another one, or if it's available with a specific zip code. Of course, we didn't get the one in the RP insert Sunday.

oops!

Nabisco Crackerfulls, premium saltines, ritz crackers for $2.49

$1.00 off of Nabisco crackers from last weeks insert

I thought this would be a good deal with the doubler but it says do not double.

But if you have a Haagan's they are only $1.29 and at Safeway they are $1.88.

The Delmonte must be expired. I printed two a week ago or so.

Where is the Del Monte IP? There was one listed for coupons.com, but it's not there anymore. I was wondering if there's another one, or if it's available with a specific zip code. Of course, we didn't get the one in the RP insert Sunday.

I read somewhere that if you go to their website and play their little game they will allow you to print a .50 on 2 of their products. I have not tried it so I am not sure??

Well I guess not I just went and looked  Sorry. Maybe it was Dole??

Dole does have a game on their website called Flip a Fruit Instant Win and if you don't win at the end it allows you to print 2 .50 on 1 Dole product and it does not say do not double so with doublers this weekend you can get some freebie dole fruits! Not sure if you can print this everyday :shrug7:

So for those of you who have the ad, are there doubles in it? The coupons are blank on the internet ad.

Also, I noticed the Hefty One Zip bags are $1.49 so $.49 each after $1/1 manf. coupon! That is an awesome price! Even better if we do have doubles!

I'm so sorry guys - I didn't even get to see my ad til I was reading it in bed last night. And then today -- OY! We were awakened by that beeping chirping noise that you associate with a rundown battery in a smoke detector. We thought it was the one in the upstairs hallway. When we changed that battery, the other 4 in the house started to chirp, and not all at the same time. We didn't have enough 9V in the house, so I was traipsing off to WAG at 5 a.m. We changed the batteries, and all 5 were still chirping!! All day long!! FF to about a 1/2 hour ago. We'd cut the power to the circuit, taken all the detectors off the ceiling, unplugged everything else in the house that we think could possibly make a noise like that, and I've even called our local fire department to see if they have any ideas, because one is STILL beeping. DH is up in our crawlspace looking at the wiring (the hole to get in is in the same upstairs hallway). We're going NUTS trying to figure out where the sound is coming from. FINALLY, DH reaches to move a box from the shelf unit in the hallway, and BEHIND IT IS A 2nd BATTERY-OPERATED CO DETECTOR THAT WE'D TOTALLY FORGOT WE HAD, TELLING US IT WAS LOW ON BATTERIES!!! DH shook them out onto the floor, and suddenly...PEACE ON EARTH!! We just stood there looking at each other. Hearing that stupid noise all over the house every 30 seconds or so -- I thought we were going to go nuts. So, of course, we are both behind on everything, including me doing the ad. I will catch up as soon as I can. AND I spent way too much on batteries, rassafrassa, grumble, grumble... I'm sure someday we'll laugh about this...

I've been there but it was in our camper. We thought the CO2 detector was chirping and fought with it for days before I found that in this camper (not in any of our past campers) there was actually also a battery operated smoke detector and the batteries were low in it. Neither of us had a clue it was even there since this is our 3rd camper and none of the previous ones had a smoke detector at all and all dectectors were wired.

Just an FYI for anyone who has a QFC nearby. They have Coca Cola 12-pk products on sale for Buy 2 Get 3 Free. So for $12.98 (6.49 x 2), you get 5 12-packs. The reason I'm so excited about this is I have 4 Free coupons (from MCR) ... so 10 12-packs for free!! ALSO, when you spend $25, you qualify for $0.29/lb turkey.

Doublers in the Oregonian on a 1-page newspaper flyer. Grabbed lots of extras at the store. There's a coupon for Jimmy Dean Sausage Rolls for $1.99, Limit 5. Use the $1/1 fresh pork coupon for .99. YMMV on the doubler since the Jimmy Dean store coupon has in the fine print that it can't be combined with a TV coupon. Free with it though.

Kim - yeah I figured they must have missed it in my Spokesman. I think I'm going to switch to the Press now - they have a better deal on the Sunday paper and will deliver extra copies on Sunday I think for $1.00 each. They are a dollar at the Dollar Tree so that helps, but would be nice to just have extras delivered. Spokesman won't do that (well they will but they'll charge you a Sunday only subscription price for EACH extra Sunday copy!)

Heres what I did at Albies this morning

Transaction #1
3 cans dole fruit =$3
-3 $.50 IP's
-3 $.50 doubles
=$0 oop

Transaction #2
2 cream cheese ISC=$.88x2= $1.76
1 jell-o = $.89 (really small box)
1 Pep. farm crackers =$1.99 (this has a try me free MIR stuck to it)
1 Pep. farm pirouette's =$1.99 (these go great in gift baskets)
sub total $6.63
-$1.25 mc
-$2 (2 pep farm mc's)
-$2 doubles
=$1.38 oop and I get the $1.99 MIR so small money maker.

My store was out of the ICBINB sticks, but will get more in tomorrow. So I guess I'll be going back because I found more ad's w/ doubles at the customer service desk.

I also found a bunch more MC's through out the store to use on future sales, so keep your eyes open.

I bought 4 I can't believe its butter yesturday for free and got the $4 in cats.

I figured out how to get my chocolate chips for really cheap.

3 Nestle chips
3 $ .50 coupons
3 $ .50 doublers
$2.00 cat from I can't believe it's not butter

Total $1.00 for 3 bags.

Ran this twice the second time he said they owed me $.50 so he told me to add a $ .50 candybar. :BigHand: I looked at the receipt and saw he doubled them to a $1.00

Fudge here we come

Do you have to get 2 or 4 ICBINB? I've bought 2 @ Albies today, and 2 @ SW yesterday, and I didn't get a cat either time.
And, I got all of my groceries scanned, went to pay, and realized I left $15 in cats on the front seat of my car - and they expire tomorrow. I don't think I have $15 of stuff left to get this week. I had 2 more stops to make, but I realized I'm not thinking too straight, and I'd probably crack up the car, so I came home. :rolleyes24:

One good thing, though - I got a $2/1 a pint of Haagen Dazs Five ice cream (triggered by buying 2 Magic Shells, I think). If you get 4 of the Five (:hysterical:), you'll get a $4 OYNO from this week's ice cream deal, and if you have 4 of the IPs, and double 3 of them, you can get 4 pints for $1. If you get one of the $2/1 cats and double 3 $1/1 IPs, they'll all be free. :dance7:

You have to buy 2 but it is only good on the baking/cooking sticks. HTH.

And we have all had days like that. Good idea just going home cause I usually just try to bite the bullet and finish what I had planned and I usually end up sorry I did. :whistle67:

Wow, nobody's jumping on the cheap/free Haagen Dazs? You guys are a tough crowd, LOL! Skip the turkey, I'm curling up on the sofa with a blankie and a pint or two of HD. :giggle2:

This is from the Kroger site.

{I am in Indiana.
Received a catalina that states Buy any 2 I cant believe its not butter sticks between 11/2/09-11/29/2009 and save $2 on a future shopping trip...}

I am assuming that our Albies cat is available until then too.

Also you can buy more than two at a time.
A lady on there received $10.00 in cats at one time when she bought 10!

Diva I like Haagan Daaz I just am to stocked up on the Breyers right now!:giggle2:

Keep an eye out I found Bayer family Qs yesterday on an end cap display, says save up to $10 on these trusted brands, plus free meter wyb strips Qs. There is also a free Redbox rental deal wyb the brands, didn't get details but it was printed on the display.
I like the HD icecream deal, need more room in my freezer...
I found one of the $2/1 HD Five Cat Qs at Fred Meyer recently too.
Dole can fruit 50c/1 IP on coupons.com, free with doubles. Also the Homemade and Heartfelt booklets have a $1/3 on Dole pineapple, makes it $1 for 3 when doubled.

Rats, I totally missed this one. DH ate the last of the Breyer's last night. I've made 2 trips to Albies this week (including this morning) and don't think I want to make a trip back tonight, it's 20 mins one way. Dang!

I bet it does come Tuesday. While I was in Albie's on Friday they made an announcement that there was no ad, to expect to pay what ever was marked on the shelf.
Can't wait to see the new ads and the next list. :BigHand:

So I went today to buy 8 gallons of milk for the daycare.

$1.99 each so total should be $15.92.

My total was $11.92!!!!!

They took off $4 from Kellogs? I thought you had to buy cereal to get that deal. (milk, cereal, bowls)

I guess not! I was happy!
