Looking for a good deal on cat litter?

I think there was a $1 q for any Tidy Cats litter in RP 10/4. I think the price of the smallest bags is a little over $2 at Target and it may be cheaper elsewhere.

My favorite litter also works out to be the cheapest for us. I use pine pellets as cat litter. It's the same as Feline Pine but without the brand name packing and price. In cooler climates you can buy wood stove pellets and if you have a store that sells supplies for horses it can be called pine pellet horse bedding. It's all exactly the same thing. It has a nice pine smell that absorbs the pee smell very well and you don't have to worry about all the dust that goes along with clay. I get the horse bedding for about $8 for 40 pounds but I know some people who find the wood stove pellets for even less. 40 pounds of the pine pellets lasts us considerably longer than 40 pounds of clay litter. But it doesn't clump, so that may be a problem for some people.

zoofy - I actually got that deal from petsmart the other week - it is an incredible deal, isn't it? I think I had to pay 4 dollars per bag... They were priced at 6 and I had a 2 dollar off coupon. Great deal!
