Well the unilever deal got even better since the bertolli pasta sauce overlaps! I also need ricotta for my Christmas lasanga so I'm loving this deal!

Oh thanks Val for the post. I just got $2 peelies on the Sorrento in a trade. And Jen I totally agree on the lasgana. I'm getting a stand up freezer and with all the good deals on pasta, sauce and cheese...I see alot of freezer made up lasagne in the future for us. Love cooking ahead on deals!

I did this today...I went and got 3 more papers in addition to the one I get delivered...
I ended up not getting the instant $4 off my order-they refunded it at CS...
Here is what I got
4 Bertolli sauce
1 Bertolli frozen meal
1 NY Garlic Toast
1 Wishbone
1 sorrento ricotta
2 ICBINB spray
3 ICBINB sticks
1 caress
2 Lipton sides
2 ICBINB tubs
4 Hellmans

Cost $23.04-$4.00 CS refund=$19.04 and got my $10 catalina.

Also I didn't have Q for the sorrento and frozen meal and my garlic bread Q didnt' double because she didnt' scan my card yet. When I stopped her and pointed out my Q didn't double she said it SAYS DND so I didn't push it.

Yikes! I misread this too. Good thing I hadn't gone to the store yet this week. The best scenario I can come up with for just this deal alone is:

Wishbone: $2 -.75/1 IP Q = .50
Bertoli Sauce 1.39 - .60/1 = .19
Bertolli meal 5.99 - 2/1 Q = 3.99
Sorrento Ricotta(32 oz) 2.99 -1/1Q = 1.99
NY Texas Toast 3.29 -.55 = 2.19
Total 8.89 - $4 instant savings = 4.89

If you have the Dec ALL YOU there's a .75/1 Bertolli sauce q making the sauce free, but I don't see myself doing this deal even with the other CAT deals. Too much OOP for me.

Well, for the catalina deal they are not in the advertisement for a participating item-atleast in the ad I have here that I picked up from the store today. They ARE inlcuded for the $4 off instantly wyb the 5 items listed.

Honestly I thought that the catalina thing was a better deal than this one, but I figured since I was getting one I would go ahead and get the other (since the sauce is in both). I wanted the Ricotta anyway and I had the Q for the wishbone. It was a lot out of pocket though-but my intention was to get the $.59lb turkey too which I needed $25 worth of groceries.

Has anyone had a problem with the $4 coming off instantly? That is the problem I had, and I DID buy the correct items, they all had the tags under them saying that they qualified for the $4/5 items.

Alright, does anyone have anything official from HT on this deal? I went in today and bought the following:

10 jars of Bertolli Sauce
1 Bertolli Easy Bake meal
1 Wishbone Dressing
1 Sorrento Mozzarella
1 New York Texas Toast

I did receive the $7 Set the Table CAT but I did not receive the $4 off your order. I went to CS and they couldn't find anything on this promotion. The signs they have beneath participating items just showed a picture of the participating items and not the details of the deal (ie you get $4 off your order instantly wyb all 5 participating items). Can anyone help? Thanks!

If yes, then I would take one of them off and show it to them.
If not, then I would contact CS (on line or via phone). It didn't say it was an Evic special either, it says VIC CARD MEMBERS. I am POSTITIVE I purchased the right items and mine didn't come off.

IKR? I had the same problem. I tried to show one manager, but the shelf tags are pretty useless. A second manager agreed to give me the $4 back...he said he got an email that may have been related but he hadn't read it yet. Definitely some drama.

Plus my $7 CAT for unilever didn't print, and they ended up giving me that in cash too. I could tell there was something wrong with the catalina printer, so I offered to have it re-rung, but they just gave me the cash. It was actually nice to NOT hear, "It didn't print because you used coupons!"...at least they have a leg up on WAGs.
