A Returning Newbie from Northern VA

*wave* I'm back after a bit of an absence due to getting pregnant and having a baby etc. :wavehi:

My husband is deployed and in Afghanistan and I am realizing that I need to get serious about saving. The Army isn't the best at getting money to us on time, so I need to make sure that doesn't matter.

I feel like I'm really horrible at the coupon and saving thing. I try hard...I don't spend ridiculous amounts of money. I cut coupons and try to use them on sale items, but I never save more than $15 off of my total, at the very most. I can't even tell you the last time I got something free.

Any help that anyone would be willing to lend would be greatly appreciated and accepted!

I hope to be a better 'student' this time around!

Be sure to check the grocery store forum to check your local store sales and drug stores like cvs,walgreens etc to maximize your savings.
