HT E-vic Savings Alert: .39 turkey

My ad for the Triangle area has the turkeys for .39cents/lb limit 1 with additional $25.00 purchase

Need to clear out some freezer space.

I just got an email alert saying that the turkey would be .39/lb through Sunday only. This is in Durham, NC, and it says in select locations only. They still list the $25 minimum purchase, but I don't think that would be hard with the unilever cat deal going on.

I know someone else mentioned their Triangle ad actually listed the turkey as .39/lb; mine didn't but I guess I could get it now :biggrin:

Has anyone in the area heard of any organization that may be collecting turkeys for food banks or anything? There's no way I could cook a turkey, but I'd hate to let the price go to waste.

Winston-Salem is .59 as well - but I don't need one b/c Thanksgiving was stolen from me this year anyway - long story and makes my blood pressure go up so I won't elaborate - LOL
