Breyers Ice Cream and Sara Lee pies for $2.99. There are printable coupons for $1 off the Sara Lee and there are .75 cent coupon in inserts for Breyers Ice Cream. If you can use both of those you can get the pie and ice cream for $1.24!! I am going to go try this now and will report back on whether it works or not. Also, the ad don't say there is a limit on these so should be able to buy all you want.

I only wish the $1/1 Breyers Ice Cream IPs were still available for print, but they are gone. Bummer. At least the $1/1 IPs for Sara Lee are current.

I have a silly question about the sparkle PT and Angel soft TP deal. It reads $3.49 when you buy 2 in a single transaction. Is that each or total for both? Usually it will say and it doesnt!

I am thinking that they left out the word "each" unintentionally for that type-up considering that the price without qualifying purchase is $4.99 (there is no each after those words either) for either item. $3.49 each WYB 2 is a pretty good price for toilet paper and paper towels. That is, unless you can get it for Free elsewhere. :giggle2:

I did not get this $.75Q in my 10/18RP?Only certain areas got the $.75/1 coupon. I got the $1/2 coupon as well. I did the deal yesterday and bought 2 Breyer's Ice Cream and 2 Sara Lee pies. My OOP after using the $1/2 Breyer's coupon and 2 $1/1 Sara Lee coupons was $2.98. That's a pretty sweet deal for 4 desserts considering that is what I usually pay for just one Breyer's Ice Cream without a coupon.

That's funny -- I had no problem at all with the Sara Lee IP, but the Breyer's $1/2 IP beeped like crazy. I thought it was because I bought the Carb Smart version of Breyer's. But the Carb Smart Breyer's was also on sale for $2.99 and had the little sign indicating you'd get the Sara Lee pie. Because of course if you have bought a Dutch apple pie you should be watching your carbohydrates. LOL
Anyway, the cashier checked to make sure I'd bought two $2.99 Breyer's and it was smooth sailing. No problem with the Sara Lee IP.

My $1/2 Breyer's Ice Cream coupon didn't beep but both of my $1/1 Sara Lee IPs did beep. Worse, I used self check-out and after a bit all my coupons beeped, especially my $5 cats from last weeks promo. After that mess, the machine froze up. :shrug7:
Needless to say, I won't be using self check-out for awhile. :giggle2:

I learned that lesson a couple of weeks ago and put it to use yesterday. There was only one checkout line open at my Albies, and I was fourth in it. The customer at the front of the line was using rain checks, WIC vouchers, a credit card and possibly electronic transfers from her Swiss bank account to pay -- it was taking forever. Another cashier appeared and said, "I'll help you with self-check," but I said no and let the lady ahead of me go. Then another cashier materialized but I let the next couple ahead of me go. I knew between my Sara Lee/Breyer's deal and my $15 in Cats from last week that my frozen desserts would be a melted mess before I ever made it out of self-check.
When I made it to the front of the line, the cashier thanked me for my patience and said I could have gone to the self-checkout line, and I told her, "Yes, but I've got coupons and it always ends up frustrating two people instead of one." She said, "Yes, sometimes that's like the blind leading the blind!"
So even one Albies employee knows that self-checkout isn't always the time- and labor-saving solution it's supposed to be, for them or for us.
See you in the regular checkout line, Ocean Brez!
