It is being reported in blogs that "After signing up, you'll get a card and with that card, thru December 19th, they will supposedly let you double 5 coupons per day--up to a $2 value! The registers are programmed to stop doubling after five coupons." However, I called the 800 number listed in the registration confirmation e-mail I received and the person I spoke with did not know anything about coupons being doubled.

Once you register, sign-in again and look under "my offers" located on the left side. Here you will find double, triple or a % of rewards earned on purchases made.

You can also sign up at any register in the store. I signed up at the register, and was given my card which was scanned for that purchase!!

Take some $2 q's with you, I had no idea until I saw signs in the store saying "double mfg q up to $2 w/your shop your way card" As I kept shopping I saw more signs saying things like "double your points wyb xxx product" So I decided I NEEDED to join, and forgot to read the details re:doubling Q's.

This is just one more great way for Kmart to keep us coming in. I have done this a couple of times, works like a charm, but I understand if you have 6 coupons the register is not only programmed to stop doubling but im 99% sure its programmed to not allow any more coupons. Thought I would pass it along just in case. I had one order I wanted to use several higher dollar coupons on so I did that order first and didnt use my reward card. No problems..
2nd order i had her scan my card and i got 5 hormel completes they are in the monthly ad for 2.00 ... used 1.00 mfg and got 5 for free ;)

Went today and here's what I did:

Bought:
(2) Ritz $2.50 each
(2) Glade candle tins $3 each
(2) Glade refills $3 each
(1) Bic Silky Touch disposable razor package 3.49

Used (2) $1/1 Ritz from 11/8 insert
(2) $1.50 Glade from inside tin
(2) FREE refill when you buy tins
$2/1 Bic disposable razors - not sure where this came from, it was from a coupon train

Paid: $1.66
Got $2 oyno catalina from buying $10 worth of Glade

Something tells me it only works at some kmarts.. I only say this cause I didn't see nothing at the 2 kmarts I went to today and we never get double q's here so it would be the first.

I would sign up in store.. i tried on line it said it processed but then i went to the store and my number didnt work.. took me literally less than a minute to sign up at the store. Then just buy one thing.. like maybe a hormel complete have them scan your card first.. then the hormel which is 2.00 and use a 1.00 mfg.. worse case scenario .. u pay a buck for a hormel.. i happen to love them !!!!

Then you will know for your own piece of mind ..
