Not to get anyone excited.... Because I can't find it in print or online...but last week the Northern WI folks got a P&G deal with the Gilette.... I would love love that deal...my DH goes through that stuff like water... anyone know if it's an unadvertised deal or if it's ended?

I am excited about this week's doubles... with some MM pasta and cheap minute rice (we go through a ton of rice!)

I will also do the Meat Deal... and do 5 freebies with it.

And we are out of beer...so beer plue 5 more freebies.... yoplait, etc... I haven't had time to figure everything yet, so little time, so many deals to do!

I'm in NE WI and I just looked through our ad from last week - I'm not sure if this is the Gillette deal you are talking about, but the print ad I picked up at the store shows "Receive $5 off your next purchase when you buy $20 of the P&G items pictured below", the $20 has to be in one trip. I know this wasn't shown in their online ad last week. There are several items shown that qualify, the Gillette ones are as follows (I wasn't sure which Gillette items you wanted, lol):

Gillette Series or Satin Care Gel or Foam 2/$4
Gillette or Old Spice Deodorant $3.79
Head & Shoulders or Gillette Shampoo or Conditioner $3.99
Old Spice, Gillette, Zest, Ivory or Olay Body Wash or Bar Soap 2/$7.88
Gillette Mach 3 or Venus Disposable Razors 2/$12
Gillette Sensor 3, Daisy or Good News Disposable Razors 2/$10

PnS @ East Pointe (in Milwaukee) doesn't seem to have any indication of such deal. No signs, nothing on the in-store print ads :(

Even if without $5 OYNO catalina deal, at very LEAST I was hoping for some sort of sale on Gillette Deodorant and Zest bars - but nope. They were at their very full prices. If they were at least marked with sale prices, as PurrMinn listed out above, I would have attempted to at least give it a go.. but I don't think so at their full prices.

..... though if you're looking for free after double coupon, well, IAMS canned cat food were on sale for .50 each (though I think they were actually marked as "10 for $5"), and there was $1/4 coupon from 11/1 PG inserts. So.. well, if you have a cat (or cats) who eat(s) wet food - not a bad deal. This, I know, was not advertised in any print ads (I have seen 3 variations all ending tomorrow), or in their online ad.

That's strange that the Gillette items aren't even on sale. I just checked the NE ad from last week again and the one I picked up from the store (but not really the "in-store ad") does have a page that says "Can-Can Sale" and the Iams Premium Can Cat Food is listed as 10/$5.00 on there.

I don't get the ad from the newspaper each week, but I have come across a few on occasion and have noticed that the newspaper print ads do not have all of the pages/items advertised as the same ad from the store has. Same with the online ad, it doesn't usually have all of the HBA items and all of the special promos there for my stores. But like you pointed out, even if the Gillette/P&G deal was not in any ad, they still should at least have the items on sale. Did you get any of your ads from the store? I'm just wondering because it could be that the actual ad from the store shows the deal. I would check, but I don't live close enough, lol! :hysterical:

I should double check again tomorrow when I'm at the store. They seemed to have 2 different ads by the door - one of which looked like ones I already got from homemailer (or at least it seemed like it).. maybe not. I'll just double check.

It would be super sweet if the deal *is* in fact is going on... or at LEAST some sort of sale... because... that would be GREAT! Who can resist fantastic sale PLUS coupon - at least with Gillette deodorants, that rarely happens. (and of course my picky boyfriend only use Gillettes. Though it's partially b/c he's always used them, and he hates "new" things. "Hey I've never seen these before. I hate them!" hahah)

... anyways. Another attempt tomorrow, but I can't say I'm all that hopeful.
