Here's what it says:

Buy Kraft Cheese and Save On Groceries!

1. Buy Any Kraft Cheese or Dairy product, using the same retailer shopper card now through 5/8/10.

2. Earn a $2 Grocery coupon every time you spend $20 on Kraft Cheese or Dairy products (Purchases can be made over multiple shopping trips.)

3. Save by redeeming your grocery coupon on your next shopping trip.

* After each $20 purchase requirement is met, grocery coupon will be delivered at the checkout printer within one week. Limit 25 grocery coupons per participant.

Well ... that "within one week" is probably gonna mess up me getting mine (I usually only shop once a week, if that) ... what a sneaky way to get people to come in several times a week and spend more just to get the cat they already earned ... Now that's creative selling! (Even if I don't like it, I gotta admire the person(s) that came up with it!)

Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, and even if you don't come in for a couple of weeks, it'll still print out next time you use your card ... that would be nice!

Id say it will print the next time your card is scanned after it calculates youve earned it so within one week. But if you came back 2 weeks later it would still print if that was the first time your card was scanned after it totaled the purchase. I could be wrong but I dont think it means you have to get it within the week.

That's what I was thinking too. Kind of like the old way that CVS used to do the ECBs. They'd be availabe after 48 hours....but you could wait weeks to get them (although none of us did!!)

Today I bought:
8 bags Kraft shredded cheese @ $1.89= $15.29
3 Velveeta 2lb @ $4.29 = 12.87
=$28.16 (before qs)
I shopped two more times later in the day and have yet to see any catalina print. Sure would be nice to see it show up soon.

Sometimes cats (generally only coupons) print for me as soon as I scan my card. I wonder if you could go and just scan your card, get the cat, and cancel the transaction? Just a thought.

Thanks Xufan for posting. I got this cat announcement too and somehow lost it. I couldn't remember the details.

So Sunday I bought 12 bags of cheese shelf = 44.28 and sale = $20
So we will see when it prints if its before or after sale/shelf.

I spent $20 - $6 ($1/2) = $14 for 12 bags = 1.16 each
If I get the (2) $2 cats = .83 per bag
If I only get one (going by sale price) =$1 per bag

hbaqueen, it looks like you would get (2) $2 cats based on the OP. Maybe it's just a typo in your post, I just didn't want you to be surprised if the cat was lower than you thought.

Ohhh I dont know why I was thinking it was $3 maybe because of the PF cat. Thanks for catching that I will fix it! :smile:

And yes you can get up to 25 coupons so as long as it goes on shelf price I should get two but since we dont know if its shelf/sale it may go by sale and only get one. BUt yep either way they will only be for $2 each :giggle2:

Well I did this on my moms card and she went to Kroger Saturday and did the bacon deal in multiple transactions so the cashier was just taking the cats and going directly to the bacon in the next transaction so I have no idea if the kraft cats printed or not! LOL
She got so confused doing the bacon that I wont dare ask her to try to eplain the reciept to me to see how many cats were used on each.

So I may not be able to report if it works on sale vs shelf if they are printed and were used so if someone else gets it please report.

I spent about $60 in two days...I stocked on velveeta cheese and Kraft shredded(about two weeks ago)...shopped three different times today and still no cat...seems like bait and switch to me.:sad:

Ditto I spent over $20 in Sale price and over $40 in shelf in one day when this first started a few weeks ago and so far nothing. I looked at my moms reciept from the bacon deal and no extras so it has printed shes been watching for it too.

I wouldve bought more the week it was 1.67 had I been sure the cat was gonna print and if it was sale or shelf. Dont want to complain about free $ I prefer my cats same transaction please Kroger.

I posted this when I first got the cat that advertised it. I've gotten that same cat 3 or 4 times since then. Oddly enough, I haven't purchased any Kraft cheese at Kroger since this started, so I haven't been able to report if it worked or not. I'm really sorry for anyone who bought it, but didn't get the money. I don't know what to say. I just typed what it said.

Okay, I just called Catalina to see if they could track by Kroger shopper's card. They said it is possible. The receipts are the gold standard. But it is worth a shot to call 1/888/8coupon and they may be able to track by shoppers card!

Just got off the phone with catalina and they said no reciept no go youd have to deal with Kroger to check that.
So basically if youve made the purchases and dont have your reciept your out of luck.

I have about half my reciepts from Sat/sun and I will be calling them if they dont print within a week. Which Im almost positive they will not since my moms nor mine from before never did.

Now I spoke with a manager at Catalina who told me the opposite. Although they cannot promise anything, they can try that way. I will add this to the list of items I am discussing with Kroger marketing, grrr.....

Okay if you dont have your reciept and catalina wont help you Call Kroger customer service she looked it up and said I shouldve gotten 3 from December and they put a $6 credit on my account!

Well, the guy I spoke with at Catalina acted like I was the stupidiest person he ever spoke to. How dare I ask him to do such a thing that was just crazy he couldnt do that. :rolleyes24:

He didnt say all that just his attitude.

Well CS was suppose to credit my moms account for her $6 for the cheese she bought in December but she has shopped several times since and it didnt come off.
She even asked the cashier if it was prompting anything.

I am now on hold with CS for my cheese I bought last sat/sun bc I shopped yesterday and no cats printed.
She says they have no evidence that this promotion even exists. And now she is calling the store where I shopped????

She is calling me back and wanted my mailing address so I said why do you need my mailing address to call me back?? :whistle67:

FWIW, I've been told several times by Kroger corp. and softcoupons and catalina that they were putting a credit on my card for something that didn't take off, and it never works. I don't bother even calling anymore.

well, I can see this cat promo is a problem. I bought just over $100 in Kraft cheese (before kroger $5 promo and coupons), so I thougth I would get 5 $2 cats. I guess not... I wonder if anybody would have the cat number...

I have not been keeping track of how many of these I should have gotten, but today I got 4 $2 Kraft catalina coupons. I have purchased about 20 packs of slices during this current mega sale, so around $40 before coupons and mega, so I am guessing that this represents all the Kraft items I have bought since the promotion started.

My mom still hasnt got hers and the $6 credit CS promised never showed. I used her card today when I got her stuff and nothing.

My $14 credit from CS did come off though today so that was good. But I bought more cheese tonight and should get more cats but I am not holding my breath.

I got some this past week. On 1/28 (I think), a catalina printed out telling me that my total was $30-something as of 1/12. That should have earned me a $2 coupon, but I didn't get it until this past week. There's a lot of delay in the system.

Ive given up on this. I bought more after CS credited my account and still have not recieved anything from that. And my mom never even got her credit thaty CS promised her nor the cats.
