I was clipping the eagle .55/1 coups to use on fri for the new cat deal and I noticed they mixed up the bakers and the eagle coups. The wording and upc on the back of the eagle is about the bakers choc and vice versa. I think that could be a real problem trying to convince the cashier that the bakers coup is really for the eagle when it pictures the wrong item. anyone else with these coups take a look and lmk what you think. :shrug7:

I got 2 crisco canola/veg oils, 1 crisco extra virgin olive oil, 1 pillsbury butter cake mix, 1 nestle choc mini chips, dixie cups, and 2 acme cheese. Plus the mentos. Used 48 mentos coupons (got overage), a 1.00 nestle coupon, and 15.00 in cats.

Negative .16. I didn't feel like buying anything else, so I just asked her to get a manager and zero it out. No mgrs around so she just put it through and I have her the .16.

I wanted to tell them all to kiss my arse and mind their own business! Maybe if you didn't make me feel like a freak, I would share my knowledge with you. Geez.

You can get free Fleischmanns Yeast this week, with the 40 cents coupon. A 50 cents OYNO prints for each one that you buy. I bought 2 yesterday and received 2 catalinas.
Someone had reported receiving 9 OYNO catalinas in total from one order from another chain on another shopping board. I was glad that it worked at ACME too. This will go good with the Gold Medal flour that was just on sale! Many of the smaller catalina deals overlap from chain to chain, but not always.

I have a question though. Tonight I ended up spending $0.83 after my coupons/cats. When I got home I realized my receipt said "CONGRATULATIONS! You have earned a Gas Rewards Card redeemable at any participating PA Sunoco Fuel Station. Please see cashier for your Gas Rewards Card and program details" When I noticed this I called and asked about it and when I told the employee I spent less than a $1.00 she said you had to spend more than $50.00 to qualify.

Does this normally just print on your receipt or does it have to do with before coupon spending because my savings summary was: $16.31 in knock down savings, $44.25 in supercard savings, $42.65 in MFG coupons and $6.15 in store coupons. I am just wondering if it is worth it for me to go up there tomorrow if I really did earn a gas card.

It seems a lot of Acmes make up their own rules on a lot of stuff but the one I shop at in Limerick Pa will give me a .05 gas card if it prints on the receipt and I spend a very little amount. If it prints they give me one. It only prints when you qualify for one though, if your before coupon total was below the required amount it wouldn't have printed.

I did not get the cat. I emailed Catalina today, so hopefully they will send it out soon. Seems like others had problems with the oil, I think it was the culprit!

....DH took me to Acme to grab some Folgers. Today they are basing the cookware stickers by the "after coupon" price. I called CS. They called the store - then repeated to me the same bologna the store said.
"If your total is $100.00, and your coupons get your total down to $10.00 -- you only get one sticker".
CS guy told me Sunday's cashier must have been wrong. Whaa???
So he will forward my problem on and try to get it settled.

The pizza crust yeast did not produce a cat at Shoprite last week, but I got it to try it anyway.
I am very happy with it. It made fast, easy to work with dough - DS & DH were impressed with the pizza :)

Please see cashier for your Gas Rewards Card and program details" When I noticed this I called and asked about it and when I told the employee I spent less than a $1.00 she said you had to spend more than $50.00 to qualify. I am just wondering if it is worth it for me to go up there tomorrow if I really did earn a gas card.

I've spent very little OOP and been given the card most of the time. Only once did a cashier not give it to me (she might have been ticked that I'd gotten so much for .07 OOP and also received $30 in cats (last week, see previous thread where I posted about the cashier that tried to throw away my last $10 cat). Maybe I should really have gone after the gas card too...

The ad list, post #1 has Ragu as .88 on a 4 day sale. The online flyer for my area shows thru the 19th. Has anyone bought Ragu today? I need to plan my list.

I have done orders at Phoenixville and Limerick stores and have gotten my stickers at both stores on the pre-coupon amounts. I have 6 stickers total, and have spent less then $10 oop

Regarding the totals for the cookware and gas cards... coupons are a form of payment (IMO anyway). The store gets cash money in reimbursement.

You should always get these kinds of rewards based on pre-coupon total. That's why the receipts print out the gas reward blurb. And, that's how we all earned a free turkey with very little oop.

If they want to go through and subtract the portions of the coupons that doubled, I'd be ok with that. Go ahead, get your calculator. I'll wait. :wink7:

They're not giving stickers for pre-coupon total at my store. Too bad since I'm only doing trannys less than $1 OOP after cats.
