Will the RR print if this is the only you are getting?

Say i get one meter, one coupon pay 0.00 get RR to use on next trans for say papertowels?

or do you have to buy something with it to print the RR so you dont have a 0.00 total

That is all you need to get to have the RR print - 0 out of pocket (if in a state with no tax) and a $5.00 RR.

Thats what I thought, I did that and the cashier said maybe it didnt print because I used a coupon, and had a 0.00 total? This was my first time doing the meters deal and also my fav cashier so I just thoght I did somethingwrong

The cashier can only do / try soooo much while the manager has the authority 'to make things happen.'

Even if the purchase happened one day (Sunday, 11/08/2009) and you cannot make it back until later in the same week.

I bring the product(s) and the receipt back to the store.

All the manager has to do is scan the product's barcode to see if indeed a RR will print.

If the RR does indeed print, they then void that transaction and hand you your rightfully deserved $5.00 RR.

The printer that prints the RRs (called the Catalina printer) can be very tempermental.

Many times, I politely ask the cashier if the Catalina printer is working before we ring everything up.

I also make a mental note as to how many RRs I should be receiving after paying the piper.

There can be a delay in the RRs printing out.

Look at the green status light, it should blink to show that coupons are on their way.

I did this earlier today and mine printed with a zero balance. Definitely ask to speak to the manager.

One Wags today (Johns Creek, GA) did not print RR. Manager said they had some issue as it wasn't printing for anyone. Told me to buy today and come back tomorrow once they got the computer corrected and return/rebuy it for RR. . It printed fine at the two other nearby Wags.

two of the wags here were NOT printing the RR this am at 8.30. hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I was just coming to add that the meter RR was also not printing this morning at several stores (Houston).

I did eight transactions today with one meter each, paid $1.20 in tax and got the RR each time. I'm in Arkansas.

Ours worked fine yesterday.
But...if you don't get the RR your expecting you really need to address it right then and there.

The receipt does not show any kind of indication that a RR is due to print, that it has printed or that it did not print but should have.
If you come back 2 days later w/ product and receipt in hand there could be some doubt about whether or not you really did not receive it.
At my store...we will do everything we can to make sure that you get what your supposed to get in a timely manner, but if you come back a day or so later and then complain there really isn't much we can do.
