I don't think I will be going to Kroger this week. Nothing looks like a very good deal to me. I am sad that the Mega Deal has come to and end (although I need to make one more run today before it's over). And the General Mills cereal deal is different in my ad - it's buy four save $4 so 4/$6.

oooo u are so smart. I like to roll mine in a ball in shredded cheddar, mostly because I'm a "healthy" eater..you know cheese rolled in cheese = 2x the dairy...?..um right? And the green onions, well theres my veggie!!!

I have had cream cheese mixed w/ cheddar and rolled up in bologna. It was soo good. I forget what else that may have gone in there, but it was delicious and I ate a little too many.

I hope you guys had a great time w/ the Mega Sale. I think we are due for a good holiday sale soon as well.

I used to take turkey and chive cream cheese sandwiches for my lunch. Super good too!

I got a bunch of Kroger coupons in the mail last week. I don't have them here with me now, but I remember $3/$15 frozen foods, 2 free Del Monte vegs, and qs for three different types of TP (I think they were just 25c each).

I am hoping for a good turkey sale. I don't need a huge one but I am supposed to host Thanksgiving this year and need about 10 - 12 lbs.

I love to make pig pinwheels...you know take the cheapy rectangle ham, spread with cream cheese put a long pickle in there, roll it up and slice it and they are the cutest things.

I must have ate a million of them when i was preggers. Well mostly because I wanted to use up the pickles so I could drink the juice.

So when i was preggo the next time guess what I liked to smell. My dogs breath. I have a weinerdog and she'd yawn next to me and I would like the smell. It was like musty chewy bones and dog food.. now its the grossest smell ever. But I had a healthy baby so if thats what it took.. me prying her beak open to get a whiff every now and then so be it. LOL> No, Im not crazy-- Ive just been preggers 4 times :) If youve been - you understand that you dont get to choose what it is you HAVE to eat or WHEN you HAVE to eat it.. on this topic, my mom also has a weinerdog, and she brushes her teeth everynight (the dogs teeth that is-- well my mom brushes too ) but teh dogs toothpaste is BEEF flavored- and Im like? Isnt that suppose to freshen her breath? It cracks me up every time.

ok pig pinwheels are the best ! Kids like them too :) on weightwatchers the points are pretty low like 2 per roll and if you make the pinwheel relatively thin you get a nice bountiful snack.

I was so excited to finally get Kroger Qs in the mail last Saturday - free lettuce, bagged salad, tomatoes, and oscar meyer lunchmeat. Plus discount Qs for Kroger cheese, deli salads and a bunch more I can't remember. It has been more than a year since I've received any home-mailed Qs from Kroger, so I was thrilled with these! :biggrin:

Grrr a mgr at one of the local GL kroger told me last week they were tripling coupons this weekend but I just called to confirm and shes not there but the one on duty said no. so, I called the other 2 stores and they say no too. Why did she tell me they were! I ordered qs! Well now I feel like an idiot.

I am hoping this next week's sale is going to be good. This one is such a snooze!

Last year, the sales were not any good around thanksgiving. Looks like the only thing we can really look forward to in the fall are the Mega sale deals. Last year's ads around this time were pretty boring too.

Look ahead for 10/10 deals on thanksgiving foods like gravy, cakes, etc and cheap turkey.
