Yep-there are really great Q's in the activity book-$2/1 off character Band-Aids. (I've been looking for this book for the past few weeks and finally spotted one on Sat in the pharmacy.) Anyway I didn't notice that the Q's state 'off a reg priced item'. That would have been a great deal-oh well!

Also can someone explain thinking on the H&S deal and what makes it good?
Pretty bummed about the zooth and bandaid coupons that can't be used when I finally actually have a coloring book coming. Go figure. Does it beep when scanned or something?

I thought the same thing the time before last....so now when I see a J&J $3/2 blinkie...I get as many as I can and I've never regretted it. They always prove to be money makers for me.
The $3/2 johnsons blinkie, isn't it for johnsons red cross products only? I don't see that they have any red cross products on sale, just the regular johnsons bandaids and character ones. They have a red cross on it but no where do they say red cross products only. They work just fine for band-aids in the past.

tia I think they beep when the barcode begins with a 9. I'm pretty sure the ones I have don't since I remember using them a few months ago on the last wags band aid deal.

No, it's lotion, not body wash. This is the description from Olay's website:
"Replace your ordinary lotion with a revolutionary rinse-off body lotion! Olay Ultra Moisture In-shower Body Lotion works with the warmth and humidity of your shower to reveal soft, smooth skin after just one use. Daily use will improve hydration of dry skin in five days!
After cleansing with your usual body wash or bar soap, and while still in the shower, smooth onto wet skin, then rinse. Step out of the shower and experience softer, smoother skin."

Almay Cosmetics is B1G1 50% again. Remember 2 weeks ago (or was it 3 weeks ago?) it was suppose to be B1G1 50% off but ringing up as B1G1 Free? Sale prices should be in the system Saturday night, the last day for the Pure Blends RR. Lightning can't strike twice!!! Can it?
A WAGS I was at tonight was out of the Pure Blends make up... thought I would give the mascara a try.. No go... $6.99 for the first.. and $3.49 for the second.. I was able to get $8 off with the Almay One Coat Mascara coupon that expired today. $2.48 for both. Not TOO bad... but, definately not the MM we got a few weeks ago... :giggle2:

would this work with the nivea lip balm?
i have 3 bogo lip care product q's. if i got 6 (for the price of 3 because of the bogo) and then used 2 of my free lotion with 3 lip care products, wouldn't i be getting 6 lip balms and 2 lotions for $2.97? would they let me use the free lotion ones first and then use the bogo's? i'm new at combining q's! thanks! wende
I was wondering about this one, if the lip bogo attaches its self to 3 of the free lips products I think you would have to buy 6 lip (pay for 3 using bogo) then get a free lotion. This probably depends on how that q attaches to the product. The lotion is listed on Walgreens web site as 7.49 each.

Ectotrin wouldn't work for me. They were 3.49 each (so 10.50). For some reason the manufactur beeped, so she investigated it and added the prices, so she knew it was 10.50, then wouldn't even try to ring up the in ad. She called the manager - said they could give it to me free - with me paying the taxes. Um no. I'll prolly try a different store later in the week.

I said I had planned to use the printed RRs for an additional trans, so please just refund me. He found all my q's and gave me my oop.
As for Ecotrin.. it 'worked'. she did have to manually type in 10.00 but at the end when she scanned the in-ad, it only took off 2.66 (??). Should have been 4.50. I don't know. I'm trying 'my' wags next. it's still overage, I'll just need less of a filler.

My Zooth q's beeped but the RR did print. I spent .11 for $65.55 worth of stuff and got back $13.00 RR. Also I did the Nivea deal. I bout 6 @.99 and got 2 free Nivea lotions. I used 3 of the BOGO...so for $2.98 I got 6 lip care and 2 BIG lotions. The lip cares are normally $2.99. Awesome deal.

I figured it out. The eco in-ad It took off $3, not 2.66 as I posted... should have been 4.50. BUT, my subtotal was 1.46. I always thought in-ad q's would go towards tax..but it's just IVCs I am guessing...so for a 4+ cent filler it would have taken the full amount. lesson learned, and hope you learn too!

I don't think this would work. The bogo sale is for free lotion wyb lotion, and the bogo q is for free body wash wyb lotion.
Yup, I know the BOGO sale is for lotions. I'm curious if anyone knows if the Walgreens registers will still deduct the free in shower lotion if I use a free coupon on the other lotion? I really like Olay lotion, so if I can get a $7.99 bottle free (with a body wash purchase) plus an extra bottle of the in shower stuff, I'd be happy. I just didn't know how this works since my Walgreens free stuff always deducts after all coupons are scanned.

Another issue with my RR. Only Angel Whispers of the Scented Oil Candles (3+1 bonus packs!) are triggering the RR with the Glade and ringing up the correct price. I bought the Spiced Rose (bonus pack too) and Orchid Oasis and it rang up the wrong price and did not give me the RR.
The manager forced it by ringing the Angel Whispers for all of my transactions.

Reg price of our Ecotrin was 3.49 so no problem getting the full $10 MQ taken off then takes off another discount after 7dWAGc is scanned. No beeps, no problem with that deal. I just made sure I bought other items that overage will pay for.
The first Zooth MQ scanned but the other 3 kept beeping. Cashier had to enter them as vendor coupon to go through. I got $5 and $1 RRs from Zooth and Band aids. Oral B stages TB also worked for the 4/$10 sale and prints $5 RR even if $1 MQs are used.

No, it would probably count as 3 coupons. The in-ad q's don't count toward the coupon count, The man q will probably attach itself to all 3 items, but it is possible that it could only attach to 1.

Not in my experience. I am not sure how other registers are programmed BUT I have noticed that as long as the x/2 or x/3 MQs are given last, they attach to only 1 item. Therefore, I can always use add'l RRs to come up with very low if not 0.00 subtotal. As long as the coupons don't pay for tax, it has always worked for me.
again, I do not discount the possibility that other registers may be programmed differently so the order of giving the x/2 or x/3 MQs does not really matter since they are counted for the # of items they are good for instead of a physical count of MQs.

The Nivea 25% more free bottles (16.9 oz) with free Nivea Creme work too with the Nivea lip balms. Great stocking stuffers.
Pantene would be .99 if you received the 2.00 home mailer q. Wags in ad q 2.99 less mq -2.00 = .99.
Here is the Olay deal typed up:
Olay 1.99 or 2.99 for 3, 1 Olay body wash, 1 Olay Body Lotion Quench, 1 Olay in shower body lotion.
MQ: todays P&G purchase ANY body wash (sale 2.99) and get a Olay Body lotion free (no $ limit on q)

MQ: (I did not try this but I think it would work) P&G (EXPIRES 11.30.09) Save 1.00 on any Bar pack, body wash or in shower body lotion.

I also had an issue with the Zooth, they would only let me use 1 when it beeped because it said "one coupon per purchase"... I tried to explain that meant "item" not "transaction" but they wouldn't do it (they did push the one through). My store is generally VERY coupon friendly, must be the manager who was there. Apparently someone tried to do ithe same scenario before me so they had already come to the conclusion that it was one coupon per purchase.

Well, yes and no. See, this q ALWAYS beeps. Everywhere. It wants the cashier to enter the amount of the coupon, even though it says right on there that it's a $7 (or $10) coupon. So the cashier enters $7 (or $10) and then it's all good. I did it today. It beeped. Cashier entered $7. No problems.

Just like the previous posters said, it does beep and the cashier has to put in $10 and then $7. Then I noticed the in-ad Q took off $9 (in Southern California the price is $3.79, not $3.49, so the Q took off the difference, ($3.79-1.99) * 5 = 9). Good thing I picked up the bounty and then 2 chocolate bars to cover the overage. I was planning on using th in-ad Q for the chocolate bars but couldn't because I had more overage than I was expecting. So it went like this for me:
5 Ecotrin $3.79 * 5 = $18.95
1 Bounty $6.49
2 Hersheys chocolate $0.89 * 2 = $1.78
TOTAL: $27.22
Less: $10(ecotrin MQ) , $7 (ecotrin MQ), $0.25 (Bounty Q), $9 (WAGS in ad Q for ecotrin) = $26.25
So I should have paid $0.97 plus tax ($2.65 in Los Angeles where tax is 9.75%)
Not sure what happened next but my total came to $1.99. I gladly paid it and left. The cashier was so stunned he told me he had to keep the receipt in case of something. I gladly let him.
I was rather surprised at the total because I did not get overage with the recent Almay deal no matter how I tried it. I was also scared to try it since my Wags is probably up there with the nastiest, most coupon-unfriendly cashiers. So if it worked at my store, it will almost surely work at yours!

I had issues with my Olay Hand & Body Lotion Q today.
The Olay Bar Pk/Body Wash or in-shower Body Lotion Q worked, then the Body Lotion Q beeped - cashier wouldn't manual it thru :wink7: so I finally gave him my Buy and Body Wash & get FREE lotion Q (I knew that one was going to beep). Spent an add'l 1 OOP, but at this point, with all the free/cheap stuff I've received, I'm not going to complain.
It's funny, at this point, I know that my "Real California Milk" q will ALWAYS beep, but they force that thru (he did earlier) but the clerk wouldn't force the Lotion q - go figure.
Also, can I say that I'm a bit jealous :wink7: - I'm in a region that gets the short ad - so, no cheap kids toothbrushes or Nivea for me.

you only bought 2 OLay products and tried to use 3 olay q's, that's why the 3rd wouldn't go thru. try this: (thank you IHW)
Olay Quench Body Lotion 20.2 oz $7.99
Olay In-shower Body Lotion 8.4 oz $0 (FREE w/ purchase of Olay Quench)
olay body wash 10 oz $2.99
Then the 7.99 will come off with the FWYB Q, and the 1.00 will come off the BW and the other 1.00 will come off the 'wags promo' item. So pay .99 for all 3
KristiaMarie,
Here was my purchase earlier tonight & the Q's I'd planned on using :
7.99 Complete Multli-Purpose Solution
2.99 Olay Body Wash, 10 oz
6.49 Olay Quench Body Lotion, 8.4 oz
1.99 Milk
2.07 3-Yardley Soap (in-ad Wags Q)
total mdse 21.53

$6.49 Buy any Olay Body Wash & get Free Body Lotion (x12.31.09)
.50 Milk
$5.00 Register Rewards

total Q 19.99
total should be 1.54 OOP + tax, but the 2nd $1. Q wouldn't go thru (my subtotal came to 2.54). I'd also picked up an extra Yardley to account for the $1 Olay Q.

Nivea Lip Care, MM
TOTAL: $2.02 MM
SALE: $.99 Lip Care with in ad q
MQ: bogo Lip Care (exp 12/31/09)
AD Q: $.99 (not sure what page)
RR:

Then, you can also get the free lotion with the mfr q (exp 12/31).
I was looking at this and I think you are right.. I mean nothing says we have to give IVC before Man q.. I think this is a go. Since either way they are reimbursed for the man q.. Maybe this is regional but in my ad there is not any Wags q-they are just on sale for .99 so on my receipt they are ringing .99, then the mfg q rings in at -.99.
Same here -- that is the sales price -- no 7-day coupon. Page 33 of the ad.

The Nivea lip care deal is this:
6 Nivea Lip care (.99ea) $5.94
- 3 * B1G1 Lip mfg Qs = -2.97
2 Nivea Lotions (7.49ea) 14.98
- 2 * B3 Lip G1 Lotion = -14.98
= 2.97 + tax OOP
HTH
PS the lip care in the blister pack (Plastic card to hang it up on) were scanning at 2.99 and most likely is a mistake in their computers, a manager had them do a price override for me). There IS NO IVC it is a sale at .99.

we got the full page complete ads and Nivea lip balm/gloss is outright sale at .99, no WAGc scanned, THEREFORE, its not a MM since the BOGO coupon will take off .99 not 2.99
the lip care must not have been programmed correctly because it was ringing up 2.99 instead of .99 yesterday. Hopefully, they have fixed it by now.

Does the Olay In Shower body lotion automatically deduct from the total? I didn't see an IVC.
Also, does anyone know the regular price of the HE shampoo/conditioner? Thanks!

Why not just get the toothbrush at CVS where it is a MM this week? I did the following this morning:
Zooth Toothbrush: $2.49 (on sale)
MQ: $1 from P&G 11/1
ECBS earned: 2
2.49-1Q-2ECB = $0.50MM
I don't have CVS. Plus, I had RR to use and if I can get away with $0 OOP I do it.

I have not read this whole thread as is it quite long, but I did see some people talking about glade deals, and did not see this one posted:
The picture shows a candle from the Glade Fragrance collection, and the ad says that the sale includes the items pictured. so...
The candles are 2/$5 and you get $1RR, so they are 2/$4. use the $2 off any product from the glade fragrance collection (was in my "parade" a couple of weeks ago, do not recall exact date) which would make these FREE!
Hope I posted this right, it is my first time posting about a specific deal.

I was looking at this and I think you are right.. I mean nothing says we have to give IVC before Man q.. I think this is a go. Since either way they are reimbursed for the man q.. I look at it like this. They are selling for $.99 at there expense.. But If they use my man q first they are selling that one at reg price thus making that money back.. Omg i just confused myself.. I tried this tonight too. The cashier couldn't get the free Quench Q (buy 1 body wash get 1 lotion Q) to work. She put in 7.99 at first but it didn't go through. She then put in 4.99 (the price of the in-shower lotion) and it worked. :shrug7: I used the other Qs with it and those worked okay.
I did this tonight and the registered beeped. The cashier said the coupon said for the free bottle of lotion was only up to $6.00, so I told her to take the $6.00 off. I got the Quench $7.99 and got the olay wash for free. Had a coupon for the Quench $3.00 off and a $1.00 for the olay wash. Another coupon buy 1 Quench and get one free plus got another olay wash for free. Used a $1.00 coupon for the olay wash. As said the free Quench wouldn't go thru cause it was over the max. amount.

Okay I did this today at Walgreens and I spoke with the CSR first to make sure it would work...so it's definitly legit...as long as you have a nice walgreens....
I bought the Olay body wash...It's a 10 oz I think it was $2.30 or something like that.
used the manufacture coupon.. buy the Olay body wash get the quench body lotion free... so I used that coupon, no limit on the size for the body lotion...so I got the 20.2 oz. Now technically I bought it...even thought it was free....heck I paid the tax on it.
so
since I "bought it" I was also able to get the Olay in-shower body lotion for free. (current walgreens deal)
Now if you don't pay the tax on your free's...I don't know if this would work...but I did..and no beeps other than she had to write the price for the body lotion...

What the gal told me today at Walgreens...is the ones in the blister pack are not the ones on sale...there is a little plastic holder that is holding the ones on sale for 99 cents. You should still be able to use the buy one get one free coupon...as the price it's listing is the same a the ones in the blister pack.

I had the same drama. The cashier was very rude and tried to tell me the q was only good on battery-powered toothbrushes. I finally asked her to get a manager. He looked the q's over carefully and matched them to the products. He said it must be a problem with the coupon and told her to push them through anyway. I did the Olay deal 3 times today. Had the "beeping" issue with my FREE lotion wyb Olay body wash twice. For those needing inexpensive gifts for sub for santa or kids or whatever.
If you purchase 2 $6.99 toys you get a third free. If you purchase $20.00 in toys or plush (which basically was everything in the kid isle...except maybe the junkie dollar store stuff) you got a $5.00 rr back.
So I purchased 6 toys. (2 games, a coloring book set, a car set, a scooby doo flashlight thing & some toddler toy that makes music and you push buttons...I will hate it...my 18 month old will love it). Basically spent $28 out of pocket (before rr's) and tax and got back the $5.00 RR. I used my RR's from the complete contact solution...so it ended up being a rather great deal for me...and the toys are fairly decent quality.

Yep, same thing with me when I did this deal yesterday. Cashier scanned the Free lotion wyb body wash q first and the register made this really weird beeping sound. So she put it aside, scanned everything else, then scanned the free lotion q again and that time it worked, it only did the regular beep that asks for the price. Hey folks just a reminder.......
If you ask the manager/cashier if you can do a deal.....and the deal isn't kosher and you post about it.... unfortunately we will have to delete the post and issue a pm/warning/infraction.
Keep in mind....the store managers/cashiers sometimes don't look at the wording on a coupon the way we couponers do.......and if it is wrong, it is wrong even if they allow you to do it.

I tried the Olay offer but couldn't get it to work. I had the assistant manager and then the manager looking at my print outs of the break downs you guys do. I may have had the wrong sizes and my new store never has the right prices on the shelves so I am never sure which one is on offer.
Because I am new to this I wasn't confident enough to push it so ended up paying for 1 bottle. Not as good as you all but still a deal.
I am so happy with what I am learning from you all and will get better.
I did get the Gillette razor deal, and the Dove so there is hope for me!
I know I will be hitting the grade when I come out with paying hardly anything - that is my target.

FREE Scotch Magic Tape single roll (YMMV)
These are B1G1 with the ad coupon. Single price is $1.79. If your store accepts manufacturer coupons with other store logos, then you're in luck. The Publix Family Winter Savings Booklet has a manufacturer coupon for $1/1 Scotch Magic or Gift Wrap Tape. It does say "redeem at Publix" in the lower corner.

The best deal I've been able to find on Prilosec is
24.99-$5rr= 19.99- $3mq= 16.99
(which happens to be this week's offer)
They are good coupons but you're not coming ahead by any means by buying them. 16.99-15= 1.99 (so u'd be loosing money!)
But those of us who do need it, it makes it a little more worth all the money we have to shell out for it! Instead if you know someone who does need it, might I suggest helping them get it for the $16.99 price (they'd be more than grateful, maybe enough to let u have the coupons inside)
I have already filed away the coupons so I can't tell you what they are, unless I find another box. The few that I remember from the largest box (the smaller box has different Qs only worth $10) are:
$2 off Prilosec
$1 off Duracell
$2 off any Olay bodywash, showergel, or lotion
$1 off Downy

Is there more than one Complete IP coupon? Mine says 12 oz. or larger. The RR deal is for the 12 oz., so the coupon was good for it.

:wink7:Another deal at Walgreens.
Pert Plus Men's Shampoo is 1.99.
1.99-1.50mq=.49
All 16 oz Pert is on sale, but this is the only cheap one.
They are on clearance for 3 something, but the 1.99 sale is overriding it.
Also my store had the Try Me Free stickers on a bunch -so watch out for those it would make it a money maker.
They were on the Men's dark green bottle 3 in 1 Shampoo and Cond plus Body Wash. There are also IP from Pert Web site for 1.00 off.

Got an easy roll for 4 day items, kinda obvious when I actually looked at em:
Tran 1:
Complete 7.99 -----Get 8RR
Pay with any you have (Use pencils as filler)
Tran2:
Natrol $4
Dentek $1.99
Goody $2 -----------Get 4 & 2 & 2RRs
1 pencil filler .13
pay with RR from complete = ~.12 + tax oop
Tran 3:
Complete 7.99 -----Get 8RR
2 pencil fillers .25
pay with RRs from above = ~..24 + tax oop
Repeat 2 & 3
This is for coupon-less transactions, you could throw in the 1/1 complete peelie and the 1/1 dentek and the 3/1 natrol to get a $1 filler in tran1 & 3 and a $4 filler in tran2.

PS hello to those I've met this week :)

I did pretty good tonight.
$137.32 worth of product for $10.72
Rolled $22.00 RR back into $22.00 - thought technically I used $36.00 RR for a few more things.
$87.49 worth of coupons.
Bought :
Lasting Impressions
Glade Tins
Glade refills
Pencils (fillers)
Ecotrin
Goody hair elastics
Dentek floss and flossers
Scotch Tape
Olay deal
Acai
Found a deal that I haven't seen posted here yet:
Glade Lasting Impressions is $5.99 get $2.00RR = $3.99
use $3.00/1 coupon and it will be $.99
BUT
Combine it with the Dentek floss $1.99 get $2.00RR = FREE
use $1.1 coupon
here is the scenario:
$5.99 - Lasting Impression
$1.99 - Dentek Floss
$0.39 - pencil
=
$8.37 + tax
-3.00 - Lasting Impression
-1.00 - Dentek Floss
-0.26 - in ad Walgreens coupon
=
$4.11 + tax
pay with $4 RR
=
$0.11 + tax
receive $2 + $2
not too bad - anyone see any issues with this scenario?

I am sorry, but what is a coloring book? Like a regular child's coloring book? Or does this coloring book have coupons in it?
Coloring book has coupons in it. The coupons all state something like regular price only or Not on sale items. Can't remember exact wording, but they are not good on sale prices.

I have only seen one IP coupon so far. The coupon has a shorter bar code ( canadian ) and is not valid in the us, you can tell the bar code doesn't look like the bar code on our coupons. The coupon also states 360 ml or larger.
If you have a link to a different IP, please pm me with the link. Thanks

Yeah! Awesome deal! Here in TN the tax is 9.25% and we are taxed pre-coupon too!

Try eBay. I got my Prilosec at about 50% off the retail price there, with free shipping. Better than buying Prilosec from stores, even with sale price and coupons and Register Rewards.
Lynn =^..^=

Filler $0.13
Filler $0.13
Filler $0.13
=====
10.37
- 2, 4, 2.50 RR
Pay .32 (+ .73 tax) Get 2 and 8 RR
Oral B $5.00 -$1.00

I was totally nixed on the Olay Deal. The cashier wouldn't even try the deal. I tried to do the following deal. Can someone please tell me if I am doing something fraudulent or wrong or simple won't work? I had 1 olay ribbons, 1 olay quench, and 1 olay in shower lotion. I wanted to use the Buy body wash and get the lotion free. TIA

The link I printed mine from doesn't seem to be there anymore. But the one you described definitely doesn't sound like the one I had. The barcode looked normal, and it specified 12 oz. or larger. But, it sounds like at least some people could have an IP that is valid for this deal.

Well that was odd...
I was kicking myself for using up my $10/3 Ecotrin Qs before I used my $7/2, because I realized that the $7 Qs would beep, being as the price is 3.49 - short a penny.
It would have been better to use them in combination.
But I decided to give it a try anyway - thinking that since they have to enter the price, maybe it would work?
Sure enough, it did indeed work! She entered $7, and then scanned the 7day WG Q with no issue.

I ran into the coupon police last night myself. They had photocopies of the $10/3 Ecotrin Q AND the B1G1 Olay Q. They said I HAD to buy the 23.6oz body wash to get the loton free. That sucker was $8.29. I will be exchanging it for the $2.99 BW at another store. They price adjusted the Ecotrin Q to make them free, but I wanted my overage. We need to start a thread of good and bad WAGS by state. I now have 2 WAGS on my AVOID list (got at least 10 in a 20 mile radius)! :giggle2:

I have done this deal 5 times in various stores with no problems. The coupon states no limits so I'm not sure how they are justifying it although it is wags :rolleyes24:. Sorry it did'nt work for you I would just try another store.

I was turned down for the Olay deal as well. The cashier first said it was because the bodywash was smaller than the lotion, so I tried the smaller lotion. The coupon still beeped. She then said it was because the bodywash was cheaper than the lotion and she could credit me the cheaper item, I declined. I thought I was being nice by not pushing the larger lotion and free in shower body lotion as it was, UGGHH!!
Any ideas why the coupon beeped??? Has anyone else had this issue???
Never mind, I had a few minutes and went back in the posts, I will try to pay with a few RR's first next time, I hope it works, and as always Thank you!!!

The first beep is because the cashier has to enter the price of the lotion $7.99. If you only use a coupon on the Body Wash ($1/1) and the Free lotion you should be fine. There shouldn't be any other beeps. IF you try and add another $1/1 coupon for the Free Shower Lotion, it will beep. I did this both ways and I like the NON-Beep method better.
Also, go to another store... There are a FEW friendly WAGS out there! :wink7:

Just so you know, deals on toothpaste roll around pretty frequently, and we can usually get it for free or better. Not to knock your deal, but I didn't want you to stock up with what is actually fairly expensive toothpaste (at least compared to what most people here pay).

I was just at Walgreen's to get the Zooth toothbrushes and they had the Spiderman ones marked down to $2.39 (only one left). I got one of those and 3 Barbie ones and used 2 $1/2 MQ's from the PG brandsaver. Paid with the $8 RR from the Complete. It didn't kick out the RR for the Zooth, though, because of the marked down price for just that one. So the manager voided the whole thing and I swapped out the Spidey toothbrush for another Barbie one and redid the whole transaction.
I've only seen the mark down at that one Wag's and I've been at three different ones in the last few days, already got several Spidey toothbrushes to add as little gifts for Chanukah. Everywhere else they're all $4/10 like the ad says, so look for that.

Question about the Toy RR: you get $5 RR wyb $20 toys. Is that before RR or after? (can I purchase $20 of toys and use the $8 RR from the Complete to pay for it and still get a $5 RR?)
I hope that makes sense,
TIA

I had the same trouble with the Spidey toothbrushes at my mom's store yesterday. Of course I didn't notice it till I got home because I was distracted. Now I have a call in so we'll see what happens. :shrug7: I paid for them with RR so there is no point to return them since they were technically free.

I know, right!... I saw that and thought I lived in a parallel universe! The store is actually in MO. I've been to that store before and never noticed it doing that. Now I can't afford to waste money going to the locations I actually like because usually most of my cost is tax! Tax was 7.475%... on the subtotal... AFTER coupons! :BigHand:
i wonder if its a zip code thing. i live in MO too, have 2 wags in town. one does tax AFTER coupons and one before. you can guess which one i go to. :hysterical:

That's what I'd do too (go buy more)! :giggle2: Not to make you feel worse, but I've definitely learned not to throw any receipts out for about 6 months. It's amazing how many rebates you can claim after the fact. For example, I sent in a few months ago for that Real Simple rebate because I'd bought enough Nestle morsels to qualify. I had no idea when I bought them that they qualified for the rebate, but I saw it posted here the next day and I just happened to still have the receipt. $5 in my pocket! Woo hoo! :BigHand:

:poke:Yes Melissa, but it has been a while since there was a free toothpaste deal and for those of us who might like this particular toothpaste it MIGHT be worth buying a tube for 99 cents if we are low in our stock piles. After all this forum is for discussing both sale and free items.

Actually, it hasn't been long at all since toothpaste was free - Aquafresh was FARR during the Black Friday sale, and if you do CVS too, Colgate was $.13 after coupon and ECB, better if you used a $/$$ on your order.
If you really like this tp, then by all means, get it. But there are a lot of new q shoppers on here, who are still figuring out their target stock-up prices and how to get the most for their money. It's easy for some to assume that just because someone posts a "good deal" on a "good deal" forum, then it really is a good deal. And it usually is, but sometimes it's not - at least not for a lot of people. I'm not saying don't get it. But I am saying if you're trying to stock up on toothpaste and think this is a good deal, I'd hold out for better.
