Is anybody else having a problem with these coupons from the Healthy Savers book? I have bought exactly what is in the picture several times and every time the Manager has had to come and price adjust for the coupon because the registar says "Coupon not found" or something like that. He says it is not in the system. Happened with both the Theraflu and the Triaminic. Is this only happening to me?

Nope. Lots of people have reported this problem. It seems to only happen at certain stores. I have several stores where there is no problem with the coupon and one of my faves has to price modify every single time. :shrug7:

will someone please help me with the kleenex deal? sale is $0.89 in add for 78 or 110 ct. i have MQ for $1/4 any size (excluding trial) AND buy any 3 (excluding trial) get one free (free one must be 65 - 100 ct)

so...can i buy 4 of 78ct size and use both coupons? 4x0.89 - $1 - 0.89 = 1.67 for 4 boxes ($0.42 per box)

if not, can i buy 4, use the $1/4 coupon and then get the 5th free?
so would be 5 boxes for 4x0.89 - 1 = 2.56 for 5 boxes? ($0.51 per box)

a good deal since i have tons of RR to burn.

hmm...its probably the second one. could i buy 12 boxes, use 3 of the $1/4 coupons and get 4 additional boxes free? so 16 boxes for 0.48 per box, 7.68 oop + tax

please no flames...i want to use these coupons correctly. TIA!!

I found these today at my local Hannaford's Supermarket near the entrance on a cardboard display. It is a red book that says, "Keep the Jingle in your Holidays Party Planner. Get up to $40 in savings." Has a picture of a platter of ritz crackers on the front. HTH.

Either I am misunderstanding or the math is wrong. If I buy 5/$10 and use five $1/1 MQs and the Wags Diabetes booklet coupon takes off an additional $2 then the math should be:

$10 - $5 - $2 = $3 OOP (not $1 OOP) and get a $3 RR which makes if free after RR (and not a $2 MM). Do this twice and then submit for the rebate making it a $10 MM.

Also there is an excellent chance that the Diabetes Booklet coupon will take off $2.50 and not $2.00 because it will take off 50 cents for each one purchased as long as you purchase more than 2. It seems to me that IVCs have worked like this in the past.

i believe you would have to buy 5...that is my math though...because the 1/4 would count for the first 4 then the free wyb 3 would be for the 5th box...u could also do the 12 with 3 $1/4q's and get 4 free like you said...that would be the most effective way...hth...

I had a problem and went back because I had it figured in my head what it should be. As it turns out, the coupons in the Healthy Savings Book are ringing up as Manufacture coupons not Walgreen's coupons. That could be part of the problem. I had manufacture coupons for everything and then tried to stack the walgreens coupons and it didn't take because according to the system I had to many manufacture coupons.

That's not happening at my store fortunately. The Healthy Savings book coupons start with 0's, which mean they are store coupons. I haven't had any trouble stacking them.

I had this happen with last year's coloring book coupons - at my local store. The coupons worked fine at all other stores, but not my local store. They had to price adjust everything that I applied the coupons too and once it even ruined a RR transaction of mine. I was so happy that this year the coupons are scanning at my store. Does anyone know, regarding the theraflu deal, if this would possibly work??

Buy 2 for $10 and get $3rr
use 2 manufacturers coupons for $2 off a theraflu product (not sure where the cpn came from but expiration date is end of dec)
scan $2 off coupon in healthy savings book which takes off $4
$10-$4 manu cpns-$4 healthy savings book =$2 oop get $3 rr= $1 mm..

HOWEVER in the diabetes book with the family of 5 on it, there is a $2 off sugar free theraflu. It is for the 6 packs of nighttime severe cough and cold. The wags add says the 6 packs are on sale, the add shows a severe cold and cough and another kind, but doesn't say any specific thera flu type has to be bought, just certain sizes. So what are the odds that the sugar free severe cold and cough will be part of the RR deal since the regular type of that is part of it? Because if so, couldn't you get 2 of the sugar free ones, use the healthy savings book cpn, the manu cpn AND the diabetes and you cpn? making it possibly $5 overage? Or am I so far off base that I can't see the field anymore?

I did this deal last night, but the healthy savings booklet Q beeped and said it couldn't be used, and the cashier tried it before my mf q's. Weird, because I've done this exact deal before, during October. They finally had to price modify my two theraflu's to $3, then scanned the $2 mfr q's and they worked just fine. I only get the flu & chest congestion one with acetaminophen and guaifenisen (sp?), so I haven't tried any of the other formulas. The RR printed just fine. So, it did work for the $1 MM, it was just a hassle.

The Triaminic coupon is in the other Healthy Savings book. This book is mostly white and bigger than the monthly books. It has a picture of an African-American family on the front and says, "Healthy Savings to help you Stay Healthy - All Season Long" on the front. It also says "over $30 in savings inside." My store had them in the ad rack at the front of the store, along with the monthly books. I would love to find the one with the baking mama on it!

is anybody else having a problem with these coupons from the healthy savers book? I have bought exactly what is in the picture several times and every time the manager has had to come and price adjust for the coupon because the registar says "coupon not found" or something like that. He says it is not in the system. Happened with both the theraflu and the triaminic. Is this only happening to me?

this has happened to me also.

Wheat Thins or Triscuit, FREE after mfr. MIR (Thankful Mom)
TOTAL: Free
SALE: 5/$10
MQ: $1/2 Keep the Jingle in your holiday booklet or school year of savings coupons
AD Q: $1/2 Wheat Thins - fall diabetes and you Walgreens booklet (turkey on front cover)
RR: $3 RR when you buy 5/$10
MATH: Buy 5 Nabisco crackers - $2 mfr q ($1/2 x2)- $2.00 Wags Coupon ($1/2 will take off $2/4) = $6 OOP, Get $3 RR = $3 for 5 boxes

Do this transaction twice, keep your receipts for buying 10 Nabisco crackers and submit them for the $10 Keep the Jingle in your Holiday MIR.
Math: $6 oop for 10 boxes + .44 stamp - $10 MIR = 3.56 MM

Note: You can also do this with the Ritz, but the Walgreens coupon is only good on the Wheat thins or triscuits. Still would be almost free...
or just buy 4 wheat thins/triscuits and 1 Ritz in each transaction. Hope this helps!
Won't work. In my Keep the Jingle In Your Holiday book you have to purchase the crackers between 12/1/09 and 1/31/10. Does yours have a different date? Would have been a good deal too.

It seems to me that IVCs have worked like this in the past.

looking...

oops- sorry, you're right, that's what i get for doing math in my head late at night!!

well, i think the add coupon means the sale price is 0.89 per box, not 0.89 off. so 0.89 - 0.50 = 0.39. buy 3boxes at 0.39 each, get 1 free. so 4 boxes for 1.17 = 0.29 per box. not free, but still a good deal.

the HSQ $1/1 is for a different size box than the in add sale IVC of 0.89 per box, if that makes sense. i have b3g1 and $1/4, so not as good as the 0.50/1 MQ. its still a stock up price for use...especially with $24 in RR to burn.

ETA: i think to get a better deal you should first give your b3g1 coupon, then your 0.50/1 coupons and save the in add IVC for last. that way you will get the full price back for the free one, kwim? i think the reg price is 1.99 here. so buy 4 boxes, use b3g1 = 5.97 then minus 0.50 for each, so down to 3.97, then use ad to gen 4.10 off...that would be a MM!!!

assuming reg price is 1.99:

4 x 1.99 buy 4 boxes = 7.96
-1.99 for b3g1 MQ
- 3 x 0.50 using 3 $0.50/1 MQs
- 4.10 for the in ad IVC
total: 0.37 + tax for 4 boxes...not free but close.

if you could use 4 of the $0.50/1 coupons it would be a MM but i think you could only use three 0.50/1 and one b3g1 on the 4 boxes, so 4 MQs and 4 items...right?

The $1 IVC won't work. The in Ad Q is 78 or 110 count... the $1 IVC is 85 count. It will just beep. So your best bet is:

3 @ $.89 (with in Ad Q)
1 @ $1.99 (or whatever your regular price is)
Use: 3 $.50/1
1 B3G1
Get: 4 for $1.17 OOP

There is a $.75/1 Q on the KMart website. Says KMart on it but, it's a MFG Q. If you can get a hold of 3 of them:

3 @ $.89
1 @ $1.99
Use 3 $.75/1
1 B1G1
Total: 4 for $.42 OOP

Pull ups training pants, on company website $2mq, on walgreens website $2Q so thats $4off each package even though their not on sale. Each allows you to print 2. That is a great savings to me as I am trying to potty train my 2yo DD.

So how'd I do?:shrug7:

I'm wondering if this 2 wags coupon thing plus the mfg. coupon is not working any more. I used it on the comtrex deal 2 weeks ago without problems. When I tried it again last week both Wags coupons beeped and they would not let me use them with the mfg. coupon. (I did it in the same manner I had done the previous week without problems.) It was a young boy checking me out, so I don't think he had any idea how to make it work. I didn't know myself what to tell him, so I just ask him to take the comtrex off. I was just wondering if they had done something so that you couldn't do this anymore, thus the problems folks are having with doing the 2 wags coupons + mfg. coupon scenarios with the theraflu and triaminic that we are seeing now?? I hope I'm making sense.

Tried at one store and was told that it "won't work because there's a register reward for it and if it worked they'd lose money, etc." Had them void and went to another store. Went to Wags this morning on my 30 min lunch break, took DH with me to do 2 transactions. Unless they have an awesome deal I wont be going back anytime soon!
My 1st transactions was going to be;
5 colgates @ $.79 - with $.75 cpn
16 of the Christmas cups @ 8/$1.00
5 Ritz crackers w/ 5 $1.00 cpn
6 3 musketeers @ $.49 each - 3 bogof cpns
and the laptop tray for $14.99 (buying for a DD Christmas present)
Had a $5.00 off $20.00 purchase a friend gave me

Colgate rang up $.74 each so I could only use 4 cpns made them equal up to $.18 each
I got the Ritz crackers w/ no problem, the cups wouldnt ring up correctly, found out the wags cpn hadnt been programmed in yet (was getting these for a co-worker who is using them as Christmas gifts so I had to get them anyway), cashier only gave me $.32 off candy bars as she was looking at the colgate price and divided that in half instead of the .49 it should of been, they only had 1 of the laptop trays in stock, the box was opened, damaged and had been retaped, so I refused to purchase it. Because of that I didnt get to use the $5/$20 cpn....UGH
Since I was on very limited time, I am going back tomorrow and try to get them to fix their errors, Cashier was rude and refused to listen to the fact that she was looking at the wrong price on the candy bars. NOTHING in this store was marked for any of the sales. It was just an altogether awful trip! I used to do SO good at Wags but this store has gone downhill fast!!! Think Im gonna stick to CVS and Rite Aid!!!! I just wondered if anyone else had the price change of the colgate?!

I did one transaction of the Nabisco crackers today and got out paying $2.50, but as to coupons beeping, all my coupons lately seem to beeping. The walgreens nabisco went through with no problem but the $1/1 from the inserts beeped and the cashier had to call a manager since she was trying to tell me without looking at the q that it was limit one. I said no, the manger came over and pushed them through. My Thermacare q's beeped earlier in the week too. Still no Lubridrem to be found either, ugh!

I actually had a relatively great shopping trip today considering..

Apparently my walgreens had no idea how hot the cracker deal would be. In fact when I was in on friday I asked the cosmetics cashier (who always does the coupon ladies) if she heard about it and she hadn't. She later told the managers and of course they realized that they had almost no stock of any of the crackers. So they put out the tags that basically say only one deal per person for that item. They had ONE row of each kind of cracker which equaled about 8 boxes of each. I was luckly able to get 4 triscuit and 1 ritz..I was able to use all the MQ's and the diabetes q with no problem.

I got 2 theraflu that were sugar free and was able to use the wags coupon in the HS book AND the one in the diabetes book in addition to my MQs for $2 off each. Made my balance -$2 and still got a $3 rr so $5mm.

I got 2 of the triaminic and was able to use the HS Q and my $3/2 MQ paying $3 and getting the $5 rr.

My first transaction went like this..

2 theraflu for -$2
Crackers for $3
Dulcolax for $4
1 lubriderm and 2 johnsons first aid for $5.77
total was $10.77 and I used a $10 rr from almay so I paid $0.77
I got $3rr for theraflu, $3rr for crackers, $4 from dulcolax and $8 from johnsons products for a total of $18 in rr plus $5 MIR for dulcolax= $12.23 mm

Then I got an almay foundation for $9.99
2 dixie plates for $1.79 (used 2 of the $1 MQs I had)
total was $11.78 used $8 and $3 rr to pay $0.78 oop
got back $10 rr to add to the others I had from first transaction

I went back later and got some triaminic and more theraflu, more kleenex, more plates, more almay and got the xmas bags that were 10/$1 as a filler...

I had coupons that beeped for no reason (like the plate ones) and she just pushed it through.

My parents were shocked that I walked out of there with so much for so little and RR to burn still. Dad joked that the "grocery store comes to him" since I brought them crackers, theraflu, kleenex, etc.

What is the best alternative for a cheap Johnson's product to purchase with the Lubriderm? I can never seem to find more than two at a time, if any, and I would like to get the $8 RR.

Johnsons red cross first aid is on sale for $3.99 and so I had to get 2 of them. I had a $3/2 any johnsons red cross so it took them down to $2.49 each, added to the $0.79 I had left on the lubriderm after coupons and there is the money maker. You can mix and match the johnsons products that get an $8rr..you don't have to buy 3 of the same thing.

[quote=Ilovecoupons;2143775]Does anyone know, regarding the theraflu deal, if this would possibly work??

Buy 2 for $10 and get $3rr
use 2 manufacturers coupons for $2 off a theraflu product (not sure where the cpn came from but expiration date is end of dec)
scan $2 off coupon in healthy savings book which takes off $4
$10-$4 manu cpns-$4 healthy savings book =$2 oop get $3 rr= $1 mm..

I tried this but was told that the coupon was for the day and night formula shown on the coupon. I tried to argue but then noticed that the coupon does show a day/night picture and there is the exact item on the shelf that says day/night liquid and the theraflu on sale is powder packets.

I was wondering - where does one find the All You magazine? is this a mag that I need to purchase? is it free? I'm new at this.

TIA.

All You is only sold at Wal-Mart and is available for home subscription too. For a couponer, it is well worth the subscription price. I have two subscriptions for my household!

Can't say, but they are both made by Novartis.

I had purchased Skippy and Hellmans a few weeks back. Without realizing they were Unilver Brands, I used my Vaseline Sheer Infusions RR (also Unilever) to pay for them. My RR did print.

Ok, so I'm a newbie and this is my first offical post of a savings I think is worth it. I'm sorry it's not in the proper format:

Pull ups training pants, on company website $2mq, on walgreens website $2Q so thats $4off each package even though their not on sale. Each allows you to print 2. That is a great savings to me as I am trying to potty train my 2yo DD.

So how'd I do?:shrug7:

:wavehi: You all know who here uh huh if you guess irishlass your right.
The coupon might state walgreens coupon but it IS a mfg. You CAN'T use this coupon and another mfg coupon.

just a reminder that the $2 mfg on the walgreens website IS a mfg coupon, and can't be combined with another mfg coupon.

Well it didn't beep so I dunno. But my diabetes coupon shows sugar free day and night severe cold and the $2 healthy savings book shows day and night severe cold (it just doesn't show sugar free) and the manu says ANY from the makers of thereaflu.. So what I got was sugar free day/night severe cold

I don't think this has been mentioned:

Hormel Chili (15 oz w/beans or 10.5 oz w/o beans) /Dinty Moore Beef Stew (15 oz)
TOTAL: .97 for 3 cans
SALE: 0.99 each
MQ: $2.00/3 from 10/18 SS
(MQ is $2.00 off any 3 Dinty Moore products, Hormel Chili, and a few other products not on sale this week at Walgreens)
AD Q: n/a
RR: n/a
MATH: Buy 3 for $2.97 - $2.00/3 MQ = .97 for 3 cans

At my store, they had Hormel Chili without beans in a 10.5 oz can and chili with beans in a 15 oz size. Dinty Moore was 15 oz.

Me too @diabetes booklet. I originally found one just laying on a counter, then spotted them hanging on the wall in a magazine rack (like you see in doctors offices..those plastic wall mount racks). They were back in the corner behind the chairs folks sit in while they wait. Had to be looking for them to see them.

Are they full-sized magazines or smaller, brochure-like booklets?

It's a fullsize magazine with a booklet stapled to the outside of it. The magazine part has three or four mf coupons in it too. Biotene comes to mind, a Walgreens Ace bandage one...one or two other things that I'd never use. lol The booklet part has the other coupons in it. It's an ugly greenish color.

:rolleyes24:I went to WAG yesterday. it was a disaster. got triaminic and Theraflu. no RR printed out. got a story from assistant mgr how i used too many Q, or no, wait, "the register KNOWS :shrug7:you already got that deal once and will not print RR again". that is a new one, now we have psychic registers at WAGs. since i paid cash (a few cents) the day before for the same deal, how is that possible? i used RR from Bayer to clear up the balance, so there is nothing wrong with what i did. had to stand there and listen how AM has worked for WAGs for 5 years and she knows everything!. called the store manager today who had a person from regional office in the store as well. after checking all their policies they told me since I used RR no RR would be printed.............
Called catalina and reported my problem. they told me 4 catalina printers in that store are off line. called the store and the store manager told me that i don't know what i am talking about and only one of the catalina printers is off line.
Called WAG customer service who told me that RR do not print sometimes if you use coupons to purchase,:shrug7: that is how manufacturers and catalina set it up. clueless here as well. asked to file a report and also filed a report online. what a load of carp.
will see what, who and when calls me back.:rolleyes24::shrug7:

Stride 3 pack gum has a insert Q to make them 2/$4 but there also a $2 RR deal this month. I got the RR when i tried it but I forgot to ring up the in ad Q! Great Stalking stuffer! Makes it 2/$1.

Also of course my wags was out of Ritz so I did a price match at WM (Target would have been good too) They only matched the 5/$10 price but I was able to use (5) $1 off from 11/8 SS AND there is a buy Ritz get Ritz Crackerful free so i got 5 of each for $5 +tax, like 50 cents each! (If u have 5 of both MQ give them the BOGO first) Then I will be submitting it for 10 item rebate so will be a $5 MM!

You might want to check the size on the Crackerfuls and make sure they qualify for the rebate. If I remember correctly, they are a tad too small.

You can use one $1.50/2 coupon for every two coffee mates you buy. So, if you buy 2 coffee mates, use one $1.50/2 coupon, if you buy 4 coffee mates, you can use two $1.50/2 coupons and so on. HTH!

I have looked and looked for the Lubriderm coupon but I can't find it.:shrug7: The coupon data base is showing a 2/1 in RP 10/11. Was this a regional coupon? I have about 20 inserts and none of them have it. Any thoughts?

What was the deal?

W by Duck 1.88 in x 27.7 yrd is on sale for $0.99 cents thru today per the ad. It is the deal listed right above the 10/$1 Christmas bags. You can clearly see the Duck symbol in the ad. Last weeks inserts had $1/1 any Duck tape. Due to Walgreens almost universal policy of not adjusting a Q down you will need use one less coupon than the number of tapes you purchase. HTH

I just got back from my wags. Most of the RR deals were gone except for the Dove. I grabbed 6 to use the last of q's on. They rang up 3.50 (sale price in tomorrow's ad 2/$7 with $2 RR).

so...
$3.50 - $1q= $2.50 oop and got a $4 RR

It was already a money maker but it was a surprise to get a little extra.
