The manager at my fave Wags told me last night that the Ricola cough drops will be free next week. He did not say if it was an RR deal, or whether coupons would be involved. (I didn't think to ask, since I had several transactions to get through & was more focused on making sure all my totals rang up right, all RRs printed, etc.)
If it's an outright free RR deal, it might be a MM with IVCs. :wink7:
:wavehi: You know who ( me irishlass ) The IVC's won't work on this unless there are ones I am unaware of. The ones in the November book are for 50 count and the ones on sale are smaller bags. I did think I saw another one somewhere but it was for sugar free and these aren't sugar free.
The coupons in the healthy savings book will work they are for 50’ off :BigHand:

Actually as far as I can tell the $.50 of coupon in the Healthy Savings book will work. The coupon says 19 to 50 ct. It's in the booklet that was in the pharmacy area that customers got when they got their flu shot. Has 2 families on the front of it and says "Over $30 in Savings Inside". Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

retyping isn't looking so bad after all...I learned a long time ago to compose my posts using my word processor.
I also do my spell checking while in the word processor document.
When I am happy with the post, I do a select all, a copy, and then a paste into a new HotCouponWorld post window.

Also, when I create a new email, the very last field filled is the:

anyone know how much the Airwick Freshmatic is?? they are 50% off and there is a $5 coupon ss 11/14

The Airwick is probably pretty cheap if it's 50% off then has that coupon. If I make it there today I'll check. When Walgreens does those giant lists of products that qualify for RRs my eyes glaze over. There's probably a great deal in there somewhere, I just can't seem to do the math today. I'll keep looking later.
The Aussie definitely seems like a steal. I've not used their products in years, may have to give them a go. I scanned through an ad I found online to make my blog post (http://housewifehacks.com/2009/11/walgreens-weekly-deals-1115-1121/). Thx to the OP for posting one here too! Here are my fav deals I found that I plucked from there.

Last month's P&G insert had a coupon for free Gillette Body Wash if you bought any Gillette deodorant. I'm guessing the regular Deod. is somewhere in the $4-$4.50 range? So, do this deal and get a RR for a free Body Wash. End result is one deodorant and 2 body washes for about $4.50. Not the best deal, but not bad. I would think you could also use that coupon to buy the Clinical Strength deodorant which is also a RR item for $7.99. If that does work, for $7.99 you would end up with 2 clinical deodorants and 2 body washes. Do you think I'm understanding this correctly?

I see lots of pretty good fillers.
Has anyone tried to roll these yet... What was the outcome???

It's been pointed out a couple times here on this board by the mods that the P&G RR specifically say they're not allowed to be used to buy more P&G products. We've been asked not to talk about that here. Just trying to save someone from getting a warning/infraction.

My ad doesn't say anything about rr on the almay mascara:sad:am i reding this right? it states $6.99- less coupon (?? what i this?)$4=2.99. what is less coupon?
I can personally validate that there is NO $4rr generating for the Almay...
Even tho post #1 still shows it.
Oh well, I guess $2.99 for mascara in a house full of teenage girls isn't such a bad deal

YMMV on whether or not they will take it sorry :(
NO Revlon is for Revlon Brand Products. Almay coupons are for Almay products. Using coupons on items they are not intended for is coupon fraud
Hello, Revlon owns the Almay brand, along with Ultima II. I was asking if a Revlon coupon would apply to the Almay brand since it is owned by Revlon. I am new at couponing and want to know. If you look at the back of any Almay product you own it will say Revlon on it.

Has anyone done the toy deal to get 5RR? I am wondering if you buy the toys for $6.99, buy two get one free, will the third you get for free count towards the $20.00 to spend to get the RR...??

I think what Irishlass meant is that even though Almay is owned by Revlon, only Almay coupons are to be used on Almay products. For example, General Mills owns Cheerios and Pillsbury but you can't use those coupons interchangeably either. Even though one company owns another the coupons are only to be used on that brand that they are written for. Any other use of those coupons is coupon fraud. HTH.

I am new Walgreens and doing their deals. But I have to say that I had the most helpful cashier today! I forgot about fillers and she sent me back to get the .39 scotch tape so I could use the RR from the 1st trans. Thank you, Tricia from the Moon Twp Store!!
Today was my first day as a Wags shopper. :BigHand:
My 1st trans was:
1 Ricola -no mfg cpn
2 blistex -$1 mfg cpn
1 Aussie product-$1 mfg cpn
Total came to $5.41
Got $1 and $2 RR
2nd trans was:
2 Puffs plus - their ad cpn - (2) .25 mfg cpns
1 Bic Soleil refill- $2 mfg cpn
3 Sctoch tape- their ad cpn (she suggested, so I could use both RR from #1)
- $1 and $2 RR from Trans #1
Total came to $4.07
Got $3 RR
Can someone please tell me if I am doing this correctly?
If not, what would you change?
Now if I were to get another Bic Soleil and use the $3 RR toward the total, I would NOT get another $3 RR, correct?
Thanks for the help!

Your theory was correct, and you did pretty good for your first time! :BigHand:
If you don't NEED the tape, I'd get fillers like the xmas pencils that are in the ad. I think they end up being 12’ each after the ad coupon. :wink7: Or the votive candles with in ad coupon are 17’... not bad either.
And you are correct that if you use the Bic RR when purchasing another one, a new RR will not print. lol Just try to keep your OOP as low as possible while still earning RR's and you'll be fine. Walgreen's was the hardest store for me to learn, so take your time while you're shopping. One of the first fillers I ever bought was a little calculator to keep in my book! :giggle2:

Lori, in this transaction, I'd have used the 50 cents off one Ricola 19 to 50 count cough drops coupon in the Healthy Savings book. Not everyone's store has it, but mine does. It has a bunch of people on the front and it says "Healthy Savings To Help You Stay Healthy All Season Long" on the front. All the coupons inside expire 12/31. Anyway, that would reduce your OOP by 50 cents and you'd still have gotten the $1 RR.
I agree that Wags is very hard to learn. I still prefer Rite Aid, but I'm getting the hang of Wags. The people here in the forum are great with questions and very helpful!

Yesterday these toys were ringing up at 4.66 each. So yes, I am sure that they count.
Yep, I have never been irritated before when an item rang up LESS than I expected - LOL!!
I was planning to get four of the $6.99 toys:
6.99 x 4 = 27.96
minus 6.99 for b2g1f deal = $20.97
then get the $5 RR
Well they all 4 rang up at $4.66 so my total (before tax) was only 18.66 and I did NOT get the $5 RR.
I had my son with me so I had to go but I am thinking about taking them all back tomorrow and doing something different. I really want the 4 toys I got - 2 are for B-day gifts for my niece and nephew and the other 2 are for my son (the cashier was awesome and helped me hide them!) so I guess I will have to buy one more at $4.66 and pay more OOP - ugh! :rolleyes24:
There really wasn't anything else I wanted/needed - anyone have any other suggestions? I know I can get something and donate it (which is always great) but I wasn't planning on spending any extra $ this week, kwim?

Lori....if you had a particularly good (or bad) experience, you can always give feedback to Wags. On many receipts, there is an option to fill out a survey based on your shopping experience (and they enter you in a chance to win $3K). I usually fill this out...not for the $3k prize but to point out what is great and what isn't at my Wags(great service/clerks usually and not so great stock of sale items usually). I think they only give out one $3k prize per month so it's unlikely that I will win given all the wags shoppers in the US...but I'm hoping it will result in my store getting a better stock of sale merchandise.

Where can I find the Healthy Savings book?
Is it their 1 monthly cpn booklet or do they have several?
Can I find it in a particular place in the store?
I have a Rite Aid right down the street from me but don't shop there often b/c they are NOT very cpn friendly! I get a major attitude from the cashiers and sometimes the managers when using cpns. :shrug7:
So I am trying to learn Wags.

Lori, at my store those Healthy Savings books are everywhere. They're at the front counter, at the pharmacy, in cosmetics, etc. I must be the only one that takes them because there are literally stacks of them in the store.
It is not in the monthly IVC book. It's a little pamphlet that is separate. They've been out a month or two so they might be gone in your area.

i finally made it in to Wags today and only spent $9.xx for a bunch of stuff (9 bottles of Welch's sparkling juice, 4 12 packs of soda, 3 Lindsay olives, and a few candy fillers) w/all my Qs and RR. ;)
Not sure if others agree, but I think that it's a GDA for the Welch's sparkling juice ... there is a Q in the ad that makes them 2 / $5 and then there are printable $2/1 any Welch's sparkling making them $0.50 each. There were also insert Qs (can't remember which one it was) with $1.50 / 1. Still a good deal (cheaper than Martenelli's at Costco).
I also thought that the Sunkist soda was a really good deal with the $1/1 12 pack that came out in this weekend's inserts ... the packs were 4/$10 and with the Q they come to $1.50. Which is definitely my buy price.

I went to do the Bic Soleil deal today. It was a little screwed up.
First, my cartridges rang up for $6.99 instead of $5.99 (didn't notice before I paid). Second, my RR didn't print.
When I brought both of these problems to the cashier's attention, she called a manager. Apparently, there's a packaging difference (even though I wasn't buying the Shimmer--just the regular Soleil cartridges).
Anyway, she refunded my money (trying to tell me I didn't get the RR because I used a coupon), but rerang it with the different cartridge package. It rang up for only $3.69 . . . after my coupon, it was only $1.69 . . . and I DID get my $3 RR the next time round.
So, if your store's codes are messed up, this could be a $2 MM for you!

For the last 3 weeks there have been Bic soleil razors (only 1 kind---not the Shimmer or newer packaging) that have had a clearance tag on them for $3. I waited hoping for some coupons to come around and on Sunday morning the first place I went to was this Wags where I got all 6 for the $3.59 each and each gave the $3 RR. I work nights on Sat and Sunday so you can only imagine my HORROR to open my inserts last night and there, staring me in right in my face, was the $2 coupons. Actually made me feel sick.

When you get the Ricola cough drops, make sure you get the sugar free variety if you want to use the IVC. Mine weren't sugar free & the coupon wouldn't work. I guess that was the reason...
(Oh - and has anybody tried a flavor other than mixed berry for the RR?)
Also, I assume the Lotrimin deal is still working. 6 oz. bottles $4.29 at my store. Still use the $2 MC and the $1 IVC (I guess in that order. However, at the register, it took off only the $3 for the IVC and ONE of the manufacturer coupons and wouldn't take anymore. The manager said the IVC was a manufacturer coupon so that's why...though it still didn't make any sense). Supposed to get $8 back on it WYB 3.

You need the Ricola Q from the Health Savings Book. The one with all the people on the cover. That one has the .50 Q on any Ricola. Then it works.

You ran into the "item count" problem.. You have 3 items... and technically 6 coupons. You need 3 "fillers" so all coupons scan. I keep forgetting by the time I get to the register.. been buying LOTS of .25 Tootsie Rolls and .33 Chocolate Carmels... :giggle2:

I found clearance Thermacare at my wags tonight for $3.79. They were 2-count Heat Wraps for hand/wrist. Used my $3 off Q's and got the RR to make for a MM deal!
Hope you can find them!

it is listed as a $1 MM after the $4 RR though:shrug7:
The one coat mascara doesn't give any RR......it's the Pure Blends one that does.

Yes, I see what you mean. However, as far as I know, there is no RR on the One Coat mascara, especially not a $4 RR. The mascara that is producing an RR is the Pure Blends one and that is a $5 RR. Could a mod please check into this and edit the OP as necessary? TIA!

I wasn't brave enough to try any others because the berry were what was in the ad & my store had nothing marked at all. Beyond that, the berry aren't even cough drops. They're "supplement" drops. They're actually not bad. They don't have the nasty taste most Ricola drops have.

I tried one other flavor (I forget which one now) but did not get the $1RR. It rang up at $1 so with the $.50 off it wasn't much of a loss. :rolleyes24: I needed a filler anyway. =)
