use 11 .75/1 q's = 12.43, get $5 = 7.43 or .68 per pack

use 11 $1/1 q's = 9.68, get $5 = 4.68 or .43 per pack

So, do your stores double an unlimited number of coupons? Or accept an unlimited number of the same coupon? All those in driving distance to me accept 3 like coupons per order and will only double 2 like coupons per order. Just wanted to let you know you're very lucky to be able to use 11 coupons on one order!

I went to my Nashville Kroger today, where they are tripling coupons. So, I got seven packs of Duracell batteries for free, after the .75/1 tripled for each. I had no idea about the catalina deal, until I was driving away, and looked at what the cashier handed me! And I got a $5 oyno! I figured it had to do with the duracell...but I did not spend $20? Not complaining! :giggle2:

:wavehi: OK, I got out my receipt. The regular price on the batteries is $3.49 a pack. I got 7 packs, so that would total $24.43, thus triggering the $5 oyno, I guess. I paid nothing for the batteries...I got a few other things that totaled $5.76.

About doubling limits...

My Kroger stores NEVER had a limit. .50 doubled to $1.00 off. A few weeks ago I noticed the ad stated limit three like cpns. Don't know if my stores follow that rule or not, just yet. In this week's ad, and possible the previous one also, I notice there is NO MENTION of any type of cpns being accepted, let alone .50 and unce rbeing doubled or any limt three rule either. According to the ad, you would think Kroger no longer takes cpns period-LOL! However, I know they have a sign at the store (an old one) that states .50 and under get doubled. Interesting to see the new ad and what they have to say....

You girls are lucky to even have a Krogers. I live in NE Oklahoma, and we have no stores that triple, and only a few that double to $0.50, and one that doubles to $1.00 (one ONE like item). Harps just moved to town, so maybe we our deals will improve, but I sure wish Kroger would put a store in Broken Arrow or Coweta, Ok! Please!

Does anyone know how long the batteries will be on sale for $1.88 at Kroger? I am thinking that since this catalina deal goes until 12/5, that it might be worth it to order more Duracell coupons. With 2 kids of my own, and 5 nieces and nephews, and Christmas coming up, I can't have too many packs of batteries!

Edit: Especially if they are free after coupons and oyno! :giggle2:

Hey mini555, you may only need to get 6 packs to trigger the $5 oyno. Based on my experience, it goes by the regular price, which is $3.49. Six packs would total $20.94. I got 7 packs because I had seven .75 coupons that were tripling to make them free.

I did this deal Tuesday and got the $5 cat and went to do it again today buying around $30 worth of groceries including the batteries. Used the cat and didn't get a new one. Wouldn't I have a valid argument that I wasn't using it on P&G products, but on the other items in my grocery cart??? :-) Really, I would like to contact the catalina company and ask, but I don't have the cat numbers to describe it. Do I need them?

These are not to be rolled. It goes under the PG Catalina rules, where you cannot roll into another PG product.

So, my BFF went to Kroger today and bought 11 packages of batteries. Her total before coupons was obviously above the $20 but she didn't get the Cat. She went to the customer service to ask about it and they told her they had never heard of such a deal and for some random reason there are no signs in that Kroger (there are in mine, all of 5 miles away). Is there anything she can do?

So you can call, but you will not be a happy camper.

I used my $5 tombstone oyno to get the batteries, and got my $5 cat.

The oscar mayer bacon is printing a $2 oyno when you buy 2 pkgs, so you could roll the batteries into that deal too.

OK, the cat specifically states that it can't be used on ANY other PG items.

Duracell is PG so by using the cat to "roll" it is violating the TOS of the coupon.

Did the battery deal twice today after reading this post, I see at the bottom now where it says not to use on P&G Products. Held on to them this time.... if I had read the CAT last week I wouldn't have rolled it, but I bought them one right after another and used the CAT right away and didn't pay attention to the wording. Now I know!! Ordered more battery Q's Sunday, now I'll have to find something to use all those CATs on when I'm done getting batteries... hope we get a good sale!!

I know this doesn't help much but at my store they are the same 1.88 with the dates on the tag 11/24. I think the store just had wayyyyyy toooooo many batteries and kept the prices down.

Call and ask! It's super slow in the grocery business right now. Everyone is eating leftovers and out shopping.

I went to my local Kroger here in Louisville, KY and they were still $1.88 but catalina did print. There was paper in it though. Not sure if it is still working.

Batteries went back to 1.88. I think it's a store wide thing. Catalina ends on the 5th.
