Bummer trip to HT this morning. I thought my total was a bit high, but didn't want to hold up the line arguing about it so I didn't say anything. Reviewing my recepit and products, I realized that 2 of my Qs were not scanned, costing me 2.70. My $1 cat from the Post Cereal deal didn't print either, so that's almost $4. I'm so bummed! But I probably won't complain, because I still got a great deal and I don't want to draw attention to myself.

I just wanted to complain where I knew someone would understand! :wink7:

Yesterday the cashier missed one of my Keebler peelies, I had 3 and he only scanned two, I went back and got my $1.65.

I have had it happen before, but I checked my reciept before I left the store. I have had them take the ENTIRE DAYS pile of Q I gave to CS and I have stood there, picked out mine and made them account for everyone on my reciept. One time I got over $8 back (newie cashier on USCAN). Sometimes it is much easier to see on the printed receipt rather than the computer screen.
You might be able to go back and tell them they missed the q and get your money back, they are still going to get reimbursed from the manufacturer. I think it depends on how sympathic the CS is...go early in the day, they aren't beaten down yet.

U-scan cashier missed a coupon this morning - there were only 19 on my screen. He said no, there were 20. So I paid then checked my receipt. 19. He had already stuffed them away and told me there was no way he could figure out which one was missing.
I said, no problem - I'll figure it out. So I looked over my receipt and everything in my buggy and sure enough, a .75 Q was missing. Then he tried to tell me he wouldn't know which one again.
So I told him to pull all the coupons back out, and I would tell him how many I had of each. Sure enough, it was a Sweet Sue.
So then I had to go over to cs, where they gave me the $ back.
Now why he stuffed them away so quickly when I had already questioned the # of Qs, I don't know. But he didn't seem the brightest , so I was careful to be nice and helpful. I didn't want to stress him out more than necessary.
I'm not using U-Scan again with 20 coupons...

not really a big deal but went shopping and at the end my total was like $5 and the cashier was like "great job" and congratulating me on my total...and she made me completely forget to wait for my fleischmann's catalina :giggle2: ...it's ok though, it was only 50¢ so I wasn't gonna go back in especially because I was a little embarrased by the big deal she made about my savings

Jesseroo that's funny--my cashier did the same thing, but I was thinking about how my total was actually too high for my liking and wondering what was wrong. But she kept going on about how well I'd done, so I didn't have the nerve to complain!

I might ask about the Cat tomorrow when I go. I really wanted that Q, because I wouldn't have made the purchase otherwise.
