KMART - $2.50 off in holiday candy Catalina coupon, 11/08/2009 -> 11/25/2009

From the October 2009 KMart doubling promotion, this Catalina coupon was generated when you purchased a certain dollar amount of candy.

I think it was $10.00 or more since I was purchasing the $2.50 bags of Hershey’s kisses (times four).

I remember trying to use these days after they were issued and they would not scan, just beep.

Then I decided to read all the find print and it had a valid date range for sometim in the merry month of November 2009 (not in October).

Anyhoo …

If discounted Halloween candy is still available at KMart, these coupons will come in mighty handy.

On the coupon it sez …

“Valid for $2.50 off regular or clearance priced holiday candy purchase of $2.50 or more.”

Even if your store no longer has the Halloween candy (mine didn't), they are running Hershey, Mars and Nestle Christmas candies this week for $2.50. I had 3 of those cats to use (one per transaction, of course) and I got three bags of candy completely free today. My cashier was impressed! :BigHand:

There are also IPs on the Nestle site for Nestle fun sized candy bars and various insert q's for other brands of candy, so the deal could be even better if you need several bags of candy.

Okay, so I ended up dilly dallying in terms of getting back to KMart for their marked down Halloween candy.

I showed up on Veterans Day (11/11/2009) only to find the Halloween candy g-o-n-e.

So, I went to Plan B …

Checked out what kind of candy is on sale in the candy aisle.

I found two bags of Halloween Peanut M&Ms, scanning at $1.49 each, tossed in with the other M&Ms.

These bags are black and orange in color and have an M&M dressed up in a Halloween outfit.

DTM (Doing The Math) …

$2.98 = $1.49 x 2 bags
$2.50 = KMart Catalina coupon
