HT in Wilmington, NC, College Road location.. please

Hi everyone. I need a bit of help from our fellow HT couponers in the Wilmington, NC area. Last night at the College Road HT, my brother had just finished up his triple shopping and headed home. It was not until this morning that he got up to leave for work and went to get his coupons that he realized that they were gone. :sad: He believes that he must have left them at the HT in the store or perhaps in his buggy. He is devastated, because he had every one of his coupons for this week in a plastic ziploc bag. There were probably well over $600. worth of coupons. There was also a white envelope inside the ziploc bag that had coupons as well.
Please please, if you found the bag, or know someone who did, contact me.
I can only imagine how horrible I would feel if I spent the time to cut out all those coupons hoping to save my family some money and then to lose ALL of them.
Any help is so greatly appreciated.

Did he check with customer service? There is a slight possibility some one was actually honest enough to turn them in. My dd left hers in a cart at Food Lion once,they were turned in but the next morning before she could get back an employee had trashed them.!! The morning person didn't know how long they had been there,so thats the "story" they told her. Hope he gets them back. I put an address label inside my coupon holder in hopes if someone finds them they will do the right thing.

Hey Alice. Yes, he checked with customer service yesterday, and again today. No luck. :sad:
I went ahead and divided my coupons with him so that he could take advantage of triples. And I ordered a few so hopefully they will be in before the end of the sale.
I feel terrible for him, but I am glad that I had extra that I could share.

That is such a HUGE bummer! I would cry!

I always carry all my coupons into stores with me, even if I know I won't need them, because I don't want them stolen if someone breaks into my car! They can have the car, but don't take my Qs! ha ha ha!

I hope your brother's collection is returned. And how generous of you to share with him!!

Hey Tiny, I shop at the College Rd Store across from the KMart too. I have not seen any coupon baggies lying around, only a few stray coupons. I hate to hear that happened to your brother. I once lost my cell phone at the same store. I left it in the cart, got in my car and drove around the block and realized what I had done. I went right back, so gone for about five minutes. It was gone! I asked the guy who was bringing them in and he said he didn't find it and it was not at CS. Five minutes! Luckily I found another one on Craigslist for $20. I hope he finds them.

That's terrible! I hope they turn up. That is the HT I frequent the most, so I will keep an eye out.
I carry mine in a binder that weighs probably 10 lbs. LOL Makes it harder to forget because of it's size.

Thanks gem7 and qponhq, We are pretty sure it isn't going to turn up now. Even so, he still had a pretty good triples. He just hated that he lost so many of his coupons that were not from inserts. Those are the hardest to replace.
And he is trying to look on the bright side, hoping that whoever found them is using them and didn't just toss them in the trash. That would be horrible.
