Unless there's another one not listed in the DB, I don't think that $3 will work because it specifies it's for the Cross Action POWER, where as the one in the ad is the manual. =/

yeah sometimes it works for me sometimes no, but i will try to give the 1/1 as a pp said.

also if you have a 5/30 for the medicare quiz you could get a better deal with a filler, just checked this thread so haven't worked scenerios yet...

i took your numbers, added the zooth and 5/30 and 1/1 zooth and here is what i came up with, even if they don't take the 3 1/1 coupons for the deodorant, it will still be a small mm if you have the 5/30

13.47 deodorant
14.97 body wash
2.99 zooth toothbrush
31.43
-5.00 5/1 5/30 coupon
-3.00 3 1/1 deodorant coupons
-14.97 3 bogo coupons
- 1.00 1/1 zooth
7.46= get 12 ecbs (10 for gillette and 2 for the zooth)

if they don't take the 3 1/1 coupons it would be

10.46 get 12 ecbs

Most b1g1 coupons say one coupon per transaction, so I personally don't think you should use another coupon with those. Just MHO. Now if the store has a b1g1 free sale I will use a b1g1 q or 2 qs - 1 for each product I'm buying even though I didn't "pay" for the second one. Since one is the store sale and the other is the manufacturer deal. I know the store will get reimbursed for both.

If you are planning the Gillette deal you might want to plan for a little more $$ oop. The deo's were $5.49 in my store today. This is $1 more than wag's. ):

CVS has updated their registers and will no longer allow 2 $1/1 cpns in a B1G1 sale. You can use a B1G1 cpn and get both items free, but not 2 $1/1 cpns.

Also, these B1G1 body wash cpns don't say 1 per "transaction", they say per "purchase" - A "purchase" consitutes buying whatever is required to redeem the cpn. In this scenario, you are making 3 "purchases" within 1 "transaction".
So there is absolutely nothing wrong with using more than 1. I agree if it did say per trans, that would be coupon misuse, but that is not the case in this instance.

The Gillette deal worked fine for me. I gave my BOGOs first and then my $1/1s, because I figured if they were only going to accept one or the other I would rather it was the BOGOs. I didn't notice any beeping, but then again I didn't notice a beep with the Zooth q either. Maybe I was distracted by my squirmy toddler. :shrug7:

I used a 5/30 - Medicare Quiz - yesterday morning, it rang in as $10. The clerk didn't notice ? and neither did I until I examined my receipt at home. I was expecting to pay more oop than ususal but didn't have to.

I printed from a different computer, it printed a different number. I went in last night, used it on my other card. A manager was at the register. She was having problems with it. I don't know if she caught that it rang up $10 or if it wasn't working at all. But she did finally get it pushed through at $5.

There is the spend $20 get $4 ECB from the holiday catalog the pharmacy has been giving out. I know it won't help with intitial OOP, but you'll get another $4 back in the deal. These can only be used once per card according to the info on the back though. I may do it though so I can roll more into the prilosec for my DH...that stuff is so expensive!!

I was able to use both the 1/1 gillette deodarant and the buy deod. get body was free couponx3. I had to get 2 deodorants taht were 5.49 as there was only one 4.49 deodorant left. I also got ds candy.

I'm trying the Gillette deal today. I also will pick up some of the Aviva meters. None of my 5/30 medicare q's have worked! All have had to be pushed through. Is this really true? When did this happen? I have been doing this for the last year and I believe i did it last weekend on the BOGO make up deals. Just curious as I have been showing my friends how to use coupons and now I will feel like an idiot if they don't allow this.

I noticed that the Gillette razor I bought for $8.99 last Saturday on the three day sale is showing up this week on the gillette deal even though I have not bought any gillette products as of yet. It shows - Gillette amount toward this reward -8.99 amount needed to earn reward - 16.01.So if you bought a Gillette razor last Saturday you may already have 8.99 toward the total.

I did that exact toothbrush and gillete scenario on Sunday. I also got my 1ECB for the green bag use. This is so fun. All of my deos were 4.49 I think and the body was was 4.99. (my goodness that is a lot to pay for soap) I might do the swiffer deal because of the rebate available. I think I might lose 4ECB so I'm not sure. I want to do the EOB/Merry brite deal.

Thanks I don't have that one I may ask next time I go in though

I think I've had my highest OOP ever since CVSing b/c my mom wanted that bra strap thingy, needed batteries and deodorant (her & my dad only use Mitchum) A $/$$ would have been nice. She paid for her stuff...but I was just so shocked at the total even after q's!!

9.99 bra strap
4.99 bra strap 1/2 off
5.99 duracell
5.00/2 christmas gumdrops
7.50/3 Mitchum deo @ 2.50 each
7.50/3 Febreze air effects @ 2.50 each
4.00 swiffer wetjet refill
4.00 swiffer dust & shine
2.49 oral b tb
45.47
-2.00 (2 1.00/1 bra strap q's)
-.75/1 duracell
-.75/1 oral b
-3.00 (3 1.00/1 mitchum q's)
-3.00 (3 1.00/1 febreze air effects q's)
-.50/1 any swiffer refill (from p&g booklet)
-1.00/1 swiffer dust & shine (home made simple mailer)
-7.00 in ecbs
=27.47 + 4.xx in tax

Got back $5/swiffer & $2/oral b

Thought about doing the Gillette deal, but I just can't come out with a decent OOP. Tax on $25 is a little over $2 and that's a deal killer. More I think about it, dh doesn't need anything right now. He's good on bodywash, razors/refills & shave cream.

And now I could kick myself b/c I coulda used $5 ecb on my above order that exp on the 5th. Now I gotta burn it on something...gahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Swiffer has a rebate (http://www.swiffer.com/en_US/promotions/moneybackguarantee/pdf/rebate_form.pdf) on their starter kits.

TOTAL: 3.50 MM
SALE:
MQ: 1.00 off Febreeze Air Refresh (not sure of source) and Buy starter kit, get free refill from Refresh Your Nest Booklet.
CVS Q
ECBs Earned: 5.00 when you spend 15.00
MATH: 9.00 (Starter Kit) + 4.00 Refills + 2.50 (Febreeze) - 9.00 rebate - 4.00 (coupon from Refresh Your Nest for free refill w/ starter kit) - $1.00 MQ -$5.00 ECBs = -3.50 MM

Hope I did that right. :)

This is not a rebate. This is a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the product.

That is awesome, I will have to check my receipt when I get home tonight!

What I got last night (after MUCH difficulty)

two gillette fusion power razor w/bonus shaving cream @11.99 each
one shave gel @ 2.59
two zooth toothbrushes (ugh- forgot about the limit) @2.99 each

total = $32.55

used 5/30 (which had to be manually entered)
2- $4 razor
1 - $1 shave cream

Total - $14.00

got back 10.00 gillette 2.00 zooth ecbs

Not too bad for the first trip AND all the trouble. After ringing up the ONLY ecb on my receipt was the $2 for the zooth. So I had to call the 800 number and then get the manager to just give me my other $10. I started at around 5:45 and didn't get out of there for an hour :( if not more. Going back today for the Swiffer/febreeze deal and hoping it goes smoother.

Is there Minimum Purchase requirement on the AMEX GC deal? How much are they to "buy" before putting on money?

I was thinking this might work out like this

B3 put $5 on each costs $5.95 each =$32.85 Get $10 ECB and you can use the GC for other stuff?

The gift cards start at 25.00 preloaded.
For the ECB alone, I would not do it. You would pay 75.00 + 17.85 = 92.85 and then get back just a 10.00 ECB. You end up paying 7.85 to buy them.
However, I believe there is a 15.00 gas card offer from AMEX wyb 3 gift cards, so that would make it more attractive....7.15 MM.
I just need to find out where the gas card rebate info is...

Does anyone know how much some of the Olay Pro-X items cost that are generating the 5ECB's? Because I have some $10 off coupons and I was just wondering how much they start out at, anyone know?

this is a pretty pricey line.
cvs.com is a good source for price checks.

Oral-B Advantage, CrossAction, or Zooth toothbrushes
Final cost: FREE
Price: $2.99
MQ: $1/1 (11/1 P&G)
ECB earned: $2
Math: $2.99 - $1/1 - $2 ECB = -$.01

IMO, this line is ridiculously expensive. Prices start around $50. Who in the world pays $50 for a tube of anti-wrinkle stuff?

Has anyone done the Gillette Deal in the Pensacola, Florida area?

How much were the Gillette deo's and body washes?

Were they $4.49 for the Deo and $4.99 for the Body Wash ?

Some have stated these items cost more at their stores.

I'm in NW Florida & went to CVS Sunday. They had only one deodorant for $4.49 that looked almost identical to the newer ones that were $5.49. Body washes were $4.99. Manager said there were no more deodorants in the back for $4.49 so I didn't do the deal. :shrug7:
