Actually, I believe you have an error in the math. Should be:

Math: 4 x $2 = $8 - $1.50 ($0.75/2 x 2 MQ) = $6.50 (oop) - $2 (ECB) - $4.50/4 (Net)

unless I'm missing something.

Hmmmm . . . depending on what size Scope Outlast receives ECBs, it could be a good deal. MQs this week for $1.00/1 710 mL or larger:
Scope Outlast GDA: 1/$.49 (AllisonL)
Sale: 1/$3.49
MQ: $1.00/1- PG 11/1/09
ECB Earned: 2
Math: $3.49-1.00 mq - 2 ECB = $.49
Again, this scenario is assuming that the Scope Outlast in the ad is 710 mL or larger. Given the price, it should be the 750 mL bottle. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

In the database there is a .50/1 coupon IP listed. I am not sure if it is still printing or not, I didnt click it as I don't need body wash but I do need my ink :giggle2: https://ssl.unilever.com/suave.com/suavepromotions/?reg=9&utm_source=Suave&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=SuaveSkin+9 but here is the link for anyone who wants to try. ((.50/1 and other values also found in 9/13RP and 10/25RP))

the best case scenario I can come up with using the best value qs in the database would be:

Suave Body Wash (carisal)
Total:3 for $3 OOP, 3 for $1 after ECB
Sale price :3x$2=$6
MQ:2*.50/1 IP + B2G1 from 9/13/RP
ECB:$2
Math:6-1(2*.50/1)-2(B2G1)= $3OOP get 2 ECB
*the way I count ECBs would make it 3 for $1. However if you have no ECB to spend towards it you would have a $3 OOP.

I'd be interested to know too...though I'm totally getting it regardless  One thing that I probably will do is get the itunes card on Sunday, then get the $10 coupon and buy the DVD later w/ $5/30 for an additional discount. So, I'll try to do a transaction that looks like:

star trek dvd: 19.99
2 x glade sense n spray: 12.00
subtotal: 31.99
-$5/30
-2 x $4/1 glade
-$10 dvd coupon

two more good Glade scenarios for products other than the Sense & Spray IF you can find peelies like I found at my CVS today, they were on products at the end of the Glade aisle in a special box display.
Don't forget you can send these in for the $5 SC Johnson rebate that requires you purchase 3 of their products so you will make $5!!

Here's my math:

Glade Scented Oil Refills: Free!
Sale: 4/$12.00
Peelie ManuQ: $2.00/1 (use 4)
ECB Earned: $4
Math: $12.00 - $8.00 peelieQs - $4 ECB = FREE!!

Glade Jar Candles: 50c/4
Sale: 4/$12.00
Peelie ManuQ: BOGO (use 2)
ManuQ: $1.50/2 from 11/1 SS (use 1 for the 2 you are paying for)
ECB Earned: $4
Math: $12.00 - $6.00 peelieQs - $1.50 manuQ - $4 ECB = 50c/4!!

You can only do one of these deals per card and you could group them with $18 in other merchandise to use a $5/$30 Medicare D survey coupon.

It will be a $2 MM for you. If they use a RC it does not affect the ECBs that will print. Only condition is if you have a lower price, and you have to spend X amount of $$$ to qualify for the ECB, the price you pay is what counts so you have to purchase more.

I double checked it-it was $1/2. Sorry:sad:

Dry Idea roll-on antiperspirant, TOTAL: $.01 MM after ECB and IP

SALE: $2.99

MQ: $2/1 internet printable - no longer available, but the ones I printed months ago don't expire til 11/30 or 12/31

ECBs Earned: $1

MATH: $2.99 sale price - $2/1 MQ - $1 ECB = - $.01

Thnanks an reps! I've had these IPs for a long time....was wondering if I'd be able to put them to good use before they expire!

also if you haven't used it yet and have the $100 coupon book that is red and is being offered as long as supplies last for getting the flu shot or by asking for one then there is a $1 cvs q in there for the dry idea roll on so would make this a $1.01 MM lol

Also, if you don't have the B1G1 Qs, because the gum is on sale for $1/each, the $1/2 IP HERE (http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=GLPAHOLHDARLS)can work in a similar fashion as catbunny's scenario.
There's also a .75/1 IP at tridentgum.com ^_^

I think the "Buy a scented oil candle holder/get a refill pack free" will work for the CVS deal. It looks like they're $3 each in the ad scan. Even if both BOGO products don't apply toward the $12, you could still get some extra stuff for free.

Not an advertised deal, but the Publix Winter Family Savings booklet has $1.00 off any Scotch Lint Rollers or Refills. Good for filler if you need it. My store accepts these as they are mfr Q's. There are mini rollers in the travel section for .99, making them free.

YMMV.

So there are peelies on the s/o refills now? I haven't bought any of these in awhile. TIA

I am a sucker for theRagu/Skippy deals when they are giving ecb's, and it's great to have extra PB now for upcoming holiday baking.....Buckeyes, MMMmmmm!!

I think that's a great price on the batteries too with the $1 ecb back, I need to check on the q's, if there are any I mean! Hopefully!! My 11/1 PG has 75c/1 on the Duracell 4 pk of AA and AAA. So, $1.24 after Q not bad and need to stock up for Christmas!

I have a question for those that have purchased the Trident gum (layers). IT is indicated that there is a coupon with SmartSource for buy 2 get $1 off, but the coupon I printed says "Limit one per purchase." Is there another coupon somewhere that I am missing that doesn't have a limit? How are you getting 8 coupons to use in one shopping trip?

Thank you!

Just an idea for those of you loading up on the bags of GE candy this week...we're setting ours aside to use for decorating our homemade "gingerbread" houses (graham crackers cemented together with white icing). Festive for the kids but a heck of a lot cheaper than buying those premade kits! And of course the kids don't care that it's really just graham crackers.

Are you referring to the .75 off coupon that you get from the Trident site? If so, the coupon I have says limit 1 coupon per household, and also says it is void if copied?

Is there another coupon that you can use multiple off to save .75 per pack of gum?

I have another question...when you are attempting to use more that one coupon for mulitiple items of the same type (ie: trident gum, using 8 coupons when offer is save $1 on the purchase of two packs) do you print 8 coupons individually, or just photocopy the first one you printed? I ask because the coupon has now disappeared from smartsource.com

CVS IP: 2 X $3.00/1
ECB Earned: 4

Then, I just "bought" these because they came out to be free (since I had reached the ECB limit of 1)...

Welcome prettyblues! Regarding the multiples of a printable coupon >>> Some people have access to more than one computer or have friends and family print out extras for them. I am only able to get 2 of each printable. You can also trade for extra printables once you have been a member HCW for awhile. Coupons should never be photocopied. It's coupon fraud and a definite no-no. Hope that helps!

I didn't see this brought up yet but with the Advil deal, you need to purchase two packages to get the $4 ECB. I only purchased one and it didn't print, so I told her I would check the ad and it said purchase two. So I will just go back later in the week to do the rest of my deals. It was still pretty decent. I found one package that had 100+50 free. I had a $2 mq and a $1 CRT, so after I use a $2 q on the second one it will be $5.98 for 275 tablets (the rest only had 25 free).

I did a similar thing, since I had that CRT. I only got 3 of the 4.99 single shadows though...even though it was .03 short of $15 the EBs still printed. That could make it a $1 MM if you used 3 x $2/1 color cosmetic, but I only had 2 of those.

Did she tell you it denied it? Or did the register just beep to prompt her to enter a price?? I did this trans last night (my stores start the next weeks sales on Saturday) and had no problem. I read on another site that the barcode on the blush/foundations are coded like olay products, even though they're in the covergirl section in cosmetics. That might be why it's such a troublesome coupon.

Between my $5/20 ringing up as $10/20, and my cashier putting in the b1g1 for the regular price instead of the sale price, I ended up paying 69 cents for two blushes and two papers, and got $10 in ECB's! Definitely a good week at CVS for me ^_^

same thing happened to me!! actually I would have had to have my ecb's adjusted if it weren't for my bf grabbing a drink :whistle67: Had to get a manager to override the coupon because of the problems listed earlier too. Girl put in the pre-sale price of 12.99 + my 5/20 coupon left the total just over $6 plus my bf's drink put me right over the $7 in ecb's I had.

Question... I could totally be making this up... Does anyone know if the Glade Lasting Impressions starter kit is $6 this week? I swear I saw it marked as such yesterday when I stopped by... If it is $6 this week, there are $3/1 MFG Q's out there, and then, if I'm not mistaken, from the CVS site a few weeks ago, along with the $3/1 Sense & Spray Q's, there were $3/1 Lasting Impression Q's, too. That would make it free- $3/1 MFG & $3/1 CVS, right? Please help me, confirm I'm not making it up, that would be super! I'll go grab a few to get some Black Friday ECB's. Thanks!!

I just got one of those, too, my first one...I'm guessing it's before coupons, am I right?

should be...all the other ones are (although you could get unlucky and get a cashier who things it isn't :rolleyes24:)

Hey all, a question about the DeMets turtles and the $1/1 7 oz. or lgr. Q that was in yesterdays paper; does it work for the 2 pk. that is pictured? Has anyone done this or know for sure if it would work? TIA

Going to try this tomorrow
they have the Viva paper towels for 6.49 but there are coupons out on the Kmart site for 2.00 off so it would be 4.49 it says manufacture even though at the bottom says redeemable at kmart

Between my $5/20 ringing up as $10/20, and my cashier putting in the b1g1 for the regular price instead of the sale price, I ended up paying 69 cents for two blushes and two papers, and got $10 in ECB's! Definitely a good week at CVS for me ^_^

Also, not sure if this is a repost but you can buy 2 blushes, 2 foundations, or 1 of each and the ECB's will still print for the covergirl deal

Well two blushes may work but the coupon specifically says buy one foundation and get a face product free, so the coupon shouldn't be used for two blushes.

I read on another site that the barcode on the blush/foundations are coded like olay products, even though they're in the covergirl section in cosmetics. That might be why it's such a troublesome coupon.

Did anyone try to buy 2 foundations? Did the ECBs print? I got a $10/$30 last night good only for 3 days, so I think I might try to buy two foundations. To use the $10/$30, would I only need to buy $10 worth of more stuff (before coupons) in addition to the two foundations?

Could I do this:
$13 foundation
$13 foundation
$6 Suave
=$32
-13 B1G1 free foundation
-1.50 suave Qs
-10 $10/$30 Q
=$7.50
get $10 and $2 ECBs

I have some ECBs to use so I'll have less than $7.50 oop, but I just wanted to check that this will work.

this is what I did yesterday...

16 packs of trident layer gum $1/ea, ($16)
2 glade sense and spray $6/ea ($12)
3 kleenex tissues $.99/ea ($2.98)

I bought the kleenex to get my total before coupons above $30, and I used a $5/$30 coupon from an online cvs quiz.

coupons used-
$4/1 glade sense and spray man coupon x2
$3/1 glade sense and spray cvs coupon x 2
6 bogo trident coupons
2 $1/2 internet printable coupons (also one in the newest "all you")
$5/$30
and I used a $2 ecb.
My total was $2.92, and I got back $9 ecbs ($4 for the $12 in glade, and $5 for the $15 in candy).

There is a $0.75/1 Kleenex any (excluding pocket packs) printable available through K-Mart's website. It's a MFG Q, but on the side in small print it says 'Redeemable at K-Mart' but has a MFG address for the store to mail it in to.

I think I'm going to do something similar to the above, but break into 2 transactions as I'm going into the store WITHOUT any ECB's...

Transaction 1:
(2) Glade Lasting Impressions $6.00- (2) $3/1 MFG - (2) $3/1 CVS
(3) Glade Sense & Spray $6.00- (3) $4/1 MFG - (2) $3/1 CVS
(2) Kleenex $0.99- (2) $0.75/1 IP
(1) DeMet's Turtles $5.99- (1) $1.00/1 insert
- $5/30
=$0.47 plus tax, earn $4 ECB (Glade)

Transaction 2:
(6) Trident Layers Gum $1.00- (3) $1.00/2 IP & All You
(6) Mars Candy Bars $0.89- (3) B1G1 insert
(4) Colgate Total Toothpaste B1G1 $2.99- (4) $1.50/1 home mailer
(1) Dry Idea Deodorant $2.99- (1) $2.00/1 IP
-$5/20
=$1.64 plus tax, earn $5 Candy ECB & $1 Dry Idea ECB

Total OOP: $2.11 plus tax
Total earned: $10 ($4, $5, $1)

Thanks for the ideas folks- I'm needing to jump back into the saddle for as little OOP as possible before Black Friday!

Has anyone had a problem with the candy deal this week? I purchased 6 trident ($6), 2 Dove bars ($4) and the Turtles ($5.99) for a total of $15.99. But no ECB and it doesn't even show up on my receipt as a deal that I need to get more for or anything.
I had gotten alot of stuff in one order because I am saving the ECB's for black friday and had to run and get my daughter from school so didn't even notice it had not printed until I got home. What should I do? Take receipt back to store and ask for it or just forget the $5?? What would you do?
On my receipt it does show last weeks candy deal, and I double checked my account online and there is no candy deal for this week only last weeks.

Confused about Glade:

So if you buy $12 worth and then use coupons, then doesn't the register total your purchase less than the $12 in which case it wouldn't generate the ECB's?

Obviously since many of you are doing it then I'm incorrect but I don't get it.

ECB's are always worked off the fact you purchased the $$ before coupons. Coupons, Cash/Check/Credit, and ECB's are all a form of payment on your total.

None of my CVS $4 IP would work. Boo! I tried 2 different CVS stores. They said that they couldn't accept a manufacturer q and cvs q for the same item. What?!?
