So ticked. All of the GEs in my area are out of the pillsbury cin rolls, just like last week they were out of broth with no more to come in. Sure,they'll give you a raincheck but no rain check for the cats!!!

I called corportate and complained. They should know better.

That stinks. :( What was corporate's response? I wonder if they would have to honor a raincheck that had the cat deal written on it. If I ever had extras I'd be willing to work it out with you.

Thanks. I made one last phone call and found some. I had another errand to do out that way, so we did go.

Corporate just said, "Oh, that shouldn't be happening. I'm sorry to hear that." What can the customer service lady do but submit the complaint? KWIM?

I swear every week, unless you go on Thursday, the Alliance Giant Eagle has nothing that is on sale.

The Arnold bread that is 2/$3.00 this week, they have been out of it for at least 3 days. The shelf is empty except some trash that has been laying there for 3 days. They have Ragu alfredo Sauce on special for $2.00 and they were out for 2 days. The cinnamon rolls have been gone since Thursday.

When Angel Soft is on sale 10/$10, they are always out by 9 am on Thursday morning. I honestly can't believe they sell out in 3 hours. When the Betty Crocker brownies go on sale, the shelf is always bare.

Today, there was a huge shelf space in the waffle freezer that was bare.

I have called and asked about the lack of inventory and they just say that they only get what is sent to them.

I have spoken with the manager on a different matter and she is very standoffish, so I just take my money to Wal Mart and ask them to price match.

I use to take all my rx's to Giant Eagle Pharmacy, but I was always told I had a good few hours before I could get my script. Even if I phoned the refill in the day before, it was never ready. If they didn't have the meds, they wouldn't call and tell me. They would just assume you could wait. The final straw was when I picked up my script and it had a label for someone with the same name as me, but my Ronda has no "h" in it and this one did. Then when I looked at the label closer, it was for someone in Bolivar. They did this on 3 scripts that got called in. I have no idea if the other girls insurance paid for my script first before I told them it was wrong. I really felt uneasy with the mistakes and pulled all my and my husband's prescriptions.

I guess this has turned into a rant. My apologies.

I live in Toledo, and it's not even that good here! When the Freshpet dog food was BOGO, I went at 9 AM Thursday and it was already gone. Same with the Fiber One yogurt. What really irks me is that Toledo supposedly has a strict policy of doubling only 4 like coupons per GE card per day. Obviously they're either not enforcing the rules or they're not ordering sufficient quantities for the sale. :sad:
