Walgreens Store doesn't have November coupon book

I have a friend who is just starting couponing. She went to THREE different wags in the Concord, CA area today and NONE of them had the November savings book nor had any idea about it. So I'm wondering if some stores just don't participate in it at all, or maybe they just haven't gotten it yet so they have no idea what it looks like? It seems weird that they wouldn't have it since it's november 3rd and it was good starting November 1. I want to send her a book but she's worried that they won't take the coupon since they don't have the book even though it is a walgreens coupon.

Anyone have thoughts? She needs some mascara lol.

Make sure you ask one of the managers, the books may be sitting in a box somewhere in the store. I asked for one at the register and she insisted they didn't get them in. I decided to check with the manager, and low and behold there was a box of them behind the photo area. They had forgotten to put them out.
If your friend has the coupon book that you send her, there should be no problem using it at any store.

Thank you. I'm going to send her one now. But I'll let her know to ask a manager. She said that no one knew what she was talking about, but that's some how not surprising.

Walked into my store in Gilbert, Az today and in place of the easy saver booklet there were signs that read something about the Easy Saver book being discontinued! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW?

one of my stores didnt have them out...but at both the photo counter and beauty county they had little plastic holders for them and they were in them!

Okay wait...so they took away the rebate style offers that they had, I forget what they were called and are now going to do away with their in store coupons? That doesn't make any sense. Next will go the RR's and Wags will go down hill fast. I like wags for the reason of not having to do the rebates. I've tried doing them at rite aide and half the time they say I don't qualify for something, or my receipt doesn't register an item, so I just stopped all together in going there. Blah. We need a CVS being built here, not a 2nd walgreens.
