Ok, just got back from Dillon's!

The Surf is still on Mega Sale for 3.49 (if you buy 10 items) until the 10th.

So is Snuggle and All.

The Cheez-its and Fudge Shoppe are now 1.29-1.49 after Mega Sale discount. (sorry I don't remember for sure)

All the Various yogurts are still the same price.

Muir Glen tomato paste is marked down to 1.19. .19 after 1.00/1 IP.

Krusteaz Pancake mix is marked 2/$4 Participating Item, so I guess that means it's 1.50 after discount.

My store (west Kearney) was fully stocked on the Playtex Gloves. They had NO surf on the shelves as of about an hour ago.

Uncle Ben's rice is .49 each after 1.00/2 IP

Hormel is still .79.

DelMonte tomatoes are .69 now.

Tuna is still .65.

GDA if you have the right coupons: 2-pack box of Magic Erasers is 2.29.
Get 2 boxes, use .75/1 homemailer (doubled to 1.00) and the b1g1f that expired on 10/31 (if you can use expireds at your store). Also, the p&g e-coupon will deduct .75. Will make it .54 for 2 boxes.

That's all I can remember right now:biggrin:

(putting this here too since I put in on the old ad post...)

I am one of the binder and accordion coupon shoppers! You'll find me pushing the cart with the attached car with my three year old, Kyler, hanging out of it and my sweet baby, Dylan, in his infant seat in the cart. Where do I put everything? On the very bottom and all around Dylan! Poor thing! (btw..if my math is ever off..now you may understand why =) ) Maybe we'll all meet up sometime! Christmas coupon party or parking lot tailgate party with all our free cheez-its and hot dots?? =)

Heh, Couponmomoftwo. I so get that! My Henry gets a hold of loose coupons and makes them his own. Nothing like trying to salvage a q out of an 8 month olds mouth with out making a scene! ;) "Honey, Noooooooooooo......that's $2!!!

Hahahaha! Exactly why I don't shop with my kids! Well, that and the fact that I spend most of my time picking products off of the floor and putting them back on the shelves.

Im kicking myself for not being able to get out and use the rest of my Cheezit Qs. Does anyone know about Krusteaz ? Will it still be on mega sale ? Also Surf ? Im expecting some Qs in the next few days for both of those. I can live without the cheezits but Id kick myself hard if I wasted money on Surf Qs. By the time I got to sunshine tonight it was 10:30 and the shelves were wiped clean like a hurricane was a comin'

I saw the lowered prices. Im guessing they didnt sell as many in Springfield as they originally thought they could in week 1 ~ Maybe they should just start giving us the same prices as the other Krogers =0P I hadnt bought any milk, but used my only 2 morsels Qs. Drat ! DO you know what I could have done with that extra 40 cents LOL Thats my fav line with my kids when they act like some amount of change is *small, no big deal, insignificant* I ask them if they want me to show them what I can do with that. They dont argue =)

There is a coupon floating around for Bush's beans from one of the Dillons home mailers. Will that work for the case of Bush's chili beans? (Searching for my coupon...)

WeatherGirl
11-03-2009, 10:56:39 PM
Oh here it is, I overlooked it about 5 times. In the Great Ready to Race home mailer there is a coupon for buy 2, any size any flavor Bush's Best Beans, save $.55. Two cases would be a lot of chili beans!

I got a raincheck just in case. I have about 7 of those q's and I'm searching for more! :giggle2: The CSR I got it from said that I can buy any number of them, so I figure I'll go back and get 7 for 49¢ each. :BigHand:They wrote it for up to 10.

I guess I just got lucky! :giggle2: She did look in the ad, but I told her it wasn't in there. She said "oh, ok" and did it anyway. This is the first time that I've gotten a rain check, so I wasn't aware that they had that rule.

11-04-2009, 07:57:54 PM
Tracy--just checked and the cheeze-its are still on mega sale so you're good.
Yes, the Surf is 3.49 still.
The only two things I saw were the keebler cookies now 1.99 (1.49 after sale, so increase of 50 cents) and the del monte tomatoes went up to 69 cents after sale (increase of 20 cents). (And of course the carnation went down)

flemishe
11-04-2009, 08:19:48 PM
Fussy--looks like we both went on a Dillons look-out tonight. The only difference at my store is the fudge shoppe are 1.49 after sale and I "think" the cheeze-its are the same as last week.

11-04-2009, 08:25:28 PM
haha I changed mine Flemishe! You made me think I didn't see it correctly, lol! You had 1.49 and I thought I seen 1.29. Either way it's more this week!!!

I forgot to add the west Kearney store had TONS of the all beef oscar mayer hotdogs marked down to 1.99! That is a good deal for the all beef ones. They had expiration dates of Nov.7th-10th. So, they would be just fine through the week.

THANKYOU ladies for easing my stress ! Bummer the price of the crackers went up by what looks like .30 Ouch ! Anyone want any Cheezit coupons ? LOL Im tickled about the surf. Will ask for a RC when I go tomorrow if they dont have them. I have my DH stalking the tuna cause we keep missing it. I had a great wags trip today and I wanted to tell you ladies that the B1G1 One Coat Mascara deal does NOT work at the Sunshine store. Its ringing up B1G1 50% off. I was upset with myself for making *one last stop* on my way home - cause I was doing so good before that. Overall, I spent $13 real dollars today ( inc 3 at dillons for 10 bags birdseye veggies, 9 halls, 1 rice) and I grew my RRs from 39 to 72 !! My goal is 100 by black friday so I can take my girls for a fun day on a zero dollars Cmas budget. We are getting close ! Now, if that Krusteaz cat still works when my coupons arrive I may just weep with joy.

There were a whole bunch of tuna on a endcap facing the meat/diary section at the Battlefield store tonight. I saw one lonely box of Surf, too-(I am sure it is gone now!).

I didn't even notice the cookies had gone up- drat! I bought four! I had .55 IPs and just assumed I was getting them free. I had all of my kids with me- so I was more worried about their behavior than paying attention to signs....

WeatherGirl
11-05-2009, 12:07:32 AM
I really hate it when they move products to the endcaps without putting signage on the shelves stating that there is more product there. On more than one occasion I have gone to the product spot on the shelf, see that it's empty and just assume they are out of stock, then at the end of my shopping trip, spot tons of the product in some weird place. How many times have I gone to the store and missed the weird spot too?

11-05-2009, 07:24:10 AM

cwilkers: Your Welcome! Holy Smokes I can't imagine driving to shop here from Branson! I think I got it rough driving 25+ mintues one way to get to CVS! If you ever need me to check on anything for you so you don't have to make a drive, just let me know! I'd be happy to help you out!

Ok kids I have a question! Do we think the new IP for 1.50 off 2lbs. of cheese can be used on the bagged cheese? Shreds, blocks, etc.

Says valid only on fresh cow's milk products. So, obviously the bagged cheese is fresh. But, are they meaning like the cheese you get at the deli counter and have sliced etc.??? I don't want to do anything squirrely and use the coup wrong!

I'm still kicking myself for not getting more last week from the halloween sale when it was 2.99 for the BIG BAG! Even dh gave me grief about not getting more!

I just don't understand why but for some reason my printer is out of ink!! Any ideas?? :hysterical: I was only slightly thinking of going back to Dillon's on my way later to get a refill!! I promise I won't go AGAIN if the cheese coupon is only good for the deli cheese!:whistle67:

Yep, I seen the Kraft Cheese last night.

I also forgot to post that I seen several varieties of Reynolds Wrap foil on Mega Sale for 3.49 after discount.

There's an IP out for $1.50 off any 2 lbs of any brand of cheese. That would be good, right? I can't remember how much they are after the mega discount.:shrug7:

couponmomoftwo
11-05-2009, 08:07:12 PM
Fussypants: Yea, I think the $1.50/2 cheese coupon can be used on the bagged cheeses. I remember a similar coupon (not cheese) awhile back and it worked for me. Something very general... weird coupon, huh? I printed the coupon by itself to see what all came up under it and its a recipe which calls for a cup of mexican blended shredded cheese, which really makes me think it will work. =)

Does Surf come in HE for front loaders? Anyone know?

Tracy_in_Missouri
11-05-2009, 10:47:03 PM
Not sure on the surf, but Ive been using front loaders for all of my (almost) 20 yrs of marriage and I've never on purposely bought HE soap and Ive never had a problem. I use the regular type and use about 1/3 of the amount ( depending on the brand). Honestly, we'll be lucky enough to find the surf LOL let alone have our choice of *flavors* I couldnt find any at St Louis at dinnertime tonight =0(

*3 Day Sale* Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This was only advertised at my store (west Kearney) on bright yellow flyers placed here and there. They did not have the usual sign up right in front of the doors as you walk in, like they usually do on a 3-day sale. They did have it posted on the rack where you can get the sales ad. It's easy to miss though.

.77 Bar-S hotdogs
.99 Dole Salad Blends
1.48 Mission Tortilla Chips, 14 oz.
Velvetta 2lb. was either 2.99 or 3.99 (sorry I can't read my own writing) I do know it was 1.00 cheaper than it usually is. I know I have a Dillon's homemailer coupon for 1.00/1. Not sure if there are others available, probably so.

Dillon's (west Kearney) had absolutely NO surf as of about noon.

The Halloween stuff is still 50% off. Might be some good deals on halloween cereal. I seen halloween cocoa puffs and trix on clearance for 50%. I believe the sign said it was 3.08. So, half off of that, plus shortcuts e-coupon for .75, plus whatever coups you may have.

Halloween Fruit by the foot and gushers were 2.99, before 50% off.

Other things I found today for my local peeps (and everyone else) reading this:
Wal-Mart had Hormel Completes for 1.98, free with 2.00/1 All You Coupon
Gold Medal Flour is 1.50 at Wal-Mart, .50 IP, 1.00 for 5# flour (cheapest I've seen anywhere and I've been all over today!)
Wal-Mart also had the tiny tub of Country Crock ''honey butter'' spread for .82. Use .30/1 any country crock spread insert coupon. I had never had this, it's way good!!

Walgreens on Kearney and Kansas is WIPED OUT of all the almay that is giving the good deals!

That's all! I love a mega sale, but it's killing me! I can't stay away!:giggle2:

WeatherGirl
11-06-2009, 04:06:22 PM
Also- who is buying all the Playtex gloves???I had the same problem with the gloves. I only had three coupons and it took three trips to the store to use them all.

Fussypants - The Velveeta coupon is in the Get Ready to Race homemailer, page 17, Save $1 on any one Velveeta 32oz.

flemishe
11-06-2009, 04:20:02 PM
Velveeta is 3.99. I hope I got one of those 1.00 off coupons! I also have a "buy rotel and velveeta, get free chips or an amount off of chips tearpad that I found at Dillons today.

Question for you all that have done rainchecks before: Since the tuna will be less than the coupon if I did a raincheck on it, would I still get the overage like I would if I bought it now? Our stores seem to be wiped out of it.

Tracy_in_Missouri
11-06-2009, 10:07:46 PM
YOu will get the overage on the tuna b/c the tuna will ring up .65 and then your .55 Q will multiply. The register only beeps if the original Q is more than the price. Just make sure they scan your raincheck items and price adjust ( no cheating and lumping them in as one and ringing them in). You can find plenty of tuna at Fussypants store (Kearney) Its a stack next to an endcap at the back side of the store. It may actually have been at the end of the tuna aisle itself. I was there this morning and got 10 tuna, 2 krusteaz, ICBINB, 5 loaves of clearance bread, 4 hotdog buns, 1 halls, 5 BC taters, 2 ester C -- and my total was 1.67 =0) I love Dillons.
Also on the 3 day sale is Pork Butt Roast for .88 a pound ( limit 2) This is a great price and I usually cook them in the crockpot, make pulled pork and freeze in meal sized portions. Nice easy lunch or dinner.
Talked to a guy at Kearney today. He said he hasnt been able to keep the gloves since the beginning. I think its funny even as a stockpiler myself - one can only use so many rubber gloves =0P He ordered more of every variety while I was standing there. As for the SURF he said that is a wharehouse issue. Im resigning to a RC and will wait a few weeks.
Fussy - I NEVER am able to get the RR stuff at K/K Wags. I decided to stop going anymore. I think my fav store is St Louis ( for flying low) and Nixa ( for nice ppl). I vowed off Sunshine for same reason as K/K but also because they are a bit less Q friendly. They were the only store this week that had the *bad* deal on the Almay.

Ive got a few more Dillons trips left to go this week. I feel like I got my moneys worth from wags this week..... now the challenge - to use my meter Qs on Sunday and then figure out how to roll them so they dont expire before Black Friday.

Have a great weekend ladies ! Ill be out shopping early and then at the theatre all day. Hope some of you might come to see *The Christmas House* at the stained glass theatre this season. Its running from Nov 12 - Dec 19th TH/F/SA in Ozark . Half my family is in it and Im working back stage.

Thanks Tracy for all the info. As much as I'd love to come and get the tuna at Fussy's store, a 3 1/2 hour road trip to do so just wouldn't be very cost effective. I'm on the Kansas side. But hey, I'll be one of the gang anyway! :hysterical6:

I stopped by *Fussy Butt's* ( dh latest goofup) store and grabbed 2 roasts ($13), 20 tuna, 2 bags of candy corn and my total was $7.01 out the door ! I need to head to dillons tonight, but I dont know how Im going to do this. Its crunch week and unless I make a special trip into town early in the day Im not going to have anyplace to put frozen veggies along my travels. I guess I could wait until afterwards and risk they are out of them. I just HATE doing the 11pm Dillons thing. I need to figure this out because I have some veggie and misc Qs to use up as well as get a surf raincheck. I need to be hittng Wags to use my 3 meter Qs I have left but its just a bad week to shop - way busy. I hope I can find some without going all over town. I guess I could grab them and stick them in the freezer at the theatre LOL. That works. When things settle down a bit I think I will take new stockpile pics. Im planning to hit WM for their turkey deal instead of PC. I dont love WM but Id like a couple of .40cent turkeys. Show starts Thursday so we will be back to a reasonable schedule, so maybe I can get that done next week. Call for tickets for *The Christmas House* at SGT in Ozark ! You'll be glad you did =)

Oh I forgot to mention I saw someone with thier white binder at dillons. I had the day/time locked in my memory and now Ive forgotten ! Saw you at the back side of the Sunshine store ( I think) with a young girl of maybe 12 years old in a sleeveless shirt. I was in a huge hurry and didnt stop to say hello. Passed you by the milk fridge and only had a small envie of Qs with me - nothing hugely obvious. I hate when Im in a hurry and don't stop to say hello - I know you've got to be here at the board though !

i got 40 cans of milk today 20 at each store, plus many other goodies! I still have some milk coupons left, maybe 6 or so, hanging on to them for now. I was able to get some free playtex gloves, not the MM ones, but i'll take free. Surprised the stores were wiped out of the yakisoba noodles. In KC, henhouse has them for .85 regular priced and they double so they are free all the time, guess the college kids must like them. Got one of the 3 that was left on the shelf...I saw a basket full of little swimmers at the lawrence store that is tiny and older, on Mass street, may be a good deal if there are coupons out.

I did 7 deals today, I could have done more, but didn't feel like it. I was happy with my haul.
