I printed from 4 different computers, and the UPC is the same on all - has anyone else gotten duplicates?

It would make sense if they switched to the same UPC, as it will limit it to one use per card (not good for us, but good for CVS).

Looks like lots of posts on SD noting that they are getting the same UPC I am, which means it will beep. Dang, I'll never even have a chance to use even one.

5/30 expires 2 weeks after date of printing, but it's DEAD now - everyone's getting the same/invalid barcode.

It's a big ol' discussion on SD (can't remember if I'm allowed to post the whole name of the competing forum, probably not). People were printing and printing 2 nights I ago, and suddenly started getting the same barcode over and over again, and everyone was getting the same one. People have tried a few times since then and might not get the EXACT same barcode, but it'll be one that looks funny like it has several zeroes in it when normally they would not. I've seen where some people have tried to use these coupons and they beeped 'already used' or 'invalid' or didn't scan at all. Very odd.

I just tried to use it tonight, and my CVS would not take it, the register said it was invalid. It has an expiration date of 11/18...so I don't know what the problem is.

Yes I can confirm that this coupon doesn't work anymore. I printed 2 of them from 2 different computers and both had different bar codes. my MIL used the first one 2 days ago with no problem. I tryed to use the second one today and the register didn't take it. The manager said something like I cann't use it together with my ECBs cause this coupon cannot be combined with any other CVS coupons. I said that EBCs are CVS money not just regular coupons. And after that the cashier stated that EBCs are not a money it's just a piece of paper!! :hectic1:
Anyway it doesn't work....

I printed my coupon on the 3rd.. I got a completely different bar code then those are reporting on SD as being the same one printed over and over...I am gonna try and use mine since it is different and I have yet to use it...If it doesn't work then I will ask Customer Service about it..Since I took the quiz and printed the coupon per their website...I understand if they have an issue...take the coupon link down instead of letting people believe they can use it..Only to get turned down at store level...I understand issues arise, but it is an easy fix..CVS can remove the link..I am always thrilled when I have been able to do the quizzes that they put up since I NEVER get the email $/$$'s..I just get them dern online emails that do me diddly squat..:giggle2:

I just got a magazine in the mail yesterday with a two page spread all about part D with about 1/4 ad advertising nothing but the quiz online and how you can get a $5/$30 coupon when you take the quiz. This makes me think that it is broke and should be in the process of getting fixed. Why would you continue to advertise it if you aren't going to give legitimate coupons? I can't believe CVS would go through the trouble of making a new quiz only to leave it up for just a few days when they have been leaving the others up for weeks. has anyone contacted customer service about this issue? Are they trying to fix it or is it for sure a dead deal? TIA!

Glad to know I'm not the only one. My dh used one the other day, and she had to enter it manually because it wouldn't scan. The manager said she had gotten one earlier and said it was missing the first number of the barcode. Then I used one I got via e-mail and the same thing happened. What is up with that. The one my dh used, I printed off right after he did the quiz and used it later that day. That's the only one I printed. Seems stupid to have a quiz and then have them not work.

Word has it that they are all printing with the same code so it the register says they have been used. I hope they don't give me a hard time.

I had printed three $5/$30 coupons for my family on three different computers when the quiz first started, all of the coupons had different bar code on them . I used one of them and it beeped. The cashier tried to enter it manually, but he said that the cash register is not recognizing the code. So it is not because of the same code that the coupons beep, it is something else that is causing the problem.

Sunday mine would not scan at all or manually typed. She tried to say it was a copy because it was black and white. I told her it was black and white because I used a black and white laser printer. She pushed $5 off and took the coupon and said she wont take it again.

This is now working again. Not sure if they will beep. I printed a few the first day this started and they come up invalid. It doesnt say already redeemed like the 5/20 does. I have enough of the 5/20s so I wont be messing with this one again.

If I am not mistaken, the back of the 4 ECB coupon says that it cannot be combined with any other CVS coupon or something like that.

Go to cvs.com/medicare and you will see it - this is printing out unique bar codes again if you have access to multiple computers.

Do you happen to know when you printed it? The ones I printed last week had to be pushed through yesterday morning and it was quite an ordeal. Not trying them again until I know they are working!

I printed only one and tried to use it yesterday. My favorite cashier told me it had already been redeemed and told me the date. I knew I hadn't used it, and there's no way I could have used it on the date she said it was redeemed.

Wow I thought I was the only one, I used it Saturday and it actually scanned, I was shocked, then even more shocked it came up as $10, the cashier showed the manager and the manager said oh well, let it go, she's in here all the time.........LOL!!!!

it was there when I clicked on the link. it's at the top, above the faqs. Who knows if it will work though, I've printed 3 from 3 different computer and none of them have worked.

It did the same thing to me. Top half empty bottom half FAQ's because I didn't have adobe but when I downloaded it all the pictures came up.Hope that helps:smile:

I finally got some time that I could call while there were actually people there to talk to and the woman that I spoke to was super sweet. I asked if there were any known problems with the coupons from the medicare quiz and she put me on hold for a few minutes to look into it. She couldn't find any information about it at all. I told her that I'd printed off 2 different coupons form 2 different computers and neither of them would work. She asked if anyone else could've used the computers to print off a coupon before I did and I told her no. Then I told her that they showed up at "invalid code" when entered, not already redeemed. She said that she had no idea why that was.

I have not had one go through smoothly without being forced. But, I want it to work so badly that I keep trying. :rolleyes24: Maybe one of these will work, but I still can't figure out why they're printing the same barcode. A few weeks ago when I did the quiz a few times all the way through and printed the coupon it printed unique barcodes for each one. They still didn't work, but they were unique!!:hysterical:

I think they finally removed this one. I printed it Friday and went through the same link just now and don't see an option to take the quiz. Only the "calculate your savings" option. Anyone have a link that is still working?
