The ads will vary by region. Our Western Region Albertsons ads covers California and Nevada. The Northwest Region Albertsons ads covers Washington, Oregon, Utah, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, and Wyoming (Wyoming does not have a Preferred Card).

If you look in the main Albertsons Forum (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/albertsons/) you will see a list of all of the Albertsons Regions and which states fall into which regions. HTH.

I am in NV and I could only do it one time. The catalina printer did not print the 3 x $5 coupons for the 2nd transaction. The cashier and store front manager checked my purchases and they were all the correct ones. So they ended up giving me $15 in cash because I asked if it would work before I did the 2nd transaction.

Sometimes certain items aren't programmed into the system correctly as part of the promo and when this happens, the expected catalinas won't print. When I do these types of promos, I keep all of my receipts and compare notes for differences in case there is a problem.

Anyway, I am glad to hear that they confirmed your purchases and gave you cash for your second transaction. Way cool! :BigHand:

My 2nd transaction was not the same as the first. Also, I forgot to mention that I used the 3 $5 catalinas I received from the 1st transaction. Maybe this made a difference.

Hmmm... I hope the fact that you used/rolled your catalinas from one transaction to the next is not the actual problem as to why your second set of cats didn't print. Walgreens is notorious for doing that with their RR promos, but not the grocery stores. :shrug7:

Be on the LOOKOUT!!!! There is a page of coupons at Albertson's good for 11/1-11/7. I saw it on one of the stands near customer service after I checked out last night. it's a glossy printed page with Albertson's coupons. On it is this HOT coupon! $5 off the LARGE containers of Goldfish wyb 2-making them $4.49 each!!!

There are others, but I have to take the little one to preschool, I'll type the rest up when I get home.

Glad to see the crush cups cheap. My kids will be happy. I refuse to buy them, but told the kids if I can get them super cheap I will :)

Thanks for the ad Ocean Brez. I want to stock up on paper towel but I want to know if anyone know what would be your stockpile price for 1 roll of paper towel.

PhinI think it really depends on the quality of paper towels that you are buying as to what is a reasonable stockpile price to pay per roll. I myself usually try to stay within 50¢ - 75¢ per roll at the most for the better quality paper towels. Thickness and price per sq ft is also figured into this. HTH.

I myself usually try to stay within 50¢ - 75¢ per roll at the most for the better quality paper towels. Thickness and price per sq ft is also figured into this. HTH.

Thank you so I think scott pt at albies 30/15 deals would works then. I would prefer viva but has no coupons nada....

Anyway I think 8 hr sale 3.99 pt also not bad too.

Phin, 10-11 SS has $0.60/1 on Viva. Also blinkes for $0.75/2. The deal is not as Scott TP, the quality is better.

Don't forget to get your free Capri Sun with $25 or more, on the bottom of front page
of Albertsons Ad. I'm not sure if your ad will have it. Recently, I've been seeing free stuffs with $25 purchase on my ad, but friend who lives in nearby city does not have it in hers.

Well I just got back from picking up a few 8 hour sale items and combining this with the Buy $30, get $15 OYNO promo. And... my $15 ( 3 x $5 ) in catalinas DID NOT print. :mad83: C.S. tried to tell me that it was due to my coupon usage and stated that this had happened to several other customers today as well as in the last few promos that they have had. I politely told them I didn't think it was due to coupon usage as I always use coupons to lower my OOP with all of their promos, and that I haven't had problems in the past (well I have dealt with printer jams, empty paper rolls and they ran out of ink once, but I still got my cats afterwards).

I informed them that something(s) was probably not programmed correctly in the system, but they still insisted that the cats are more than likely not printing due to coupon usage. :banghead: Even so, they agreed that coupons are the same as cash and that my qualifying purchases was over $30+, so they took me to another register and forced my cats to print by ringing up one of my Lipton Teas a bunch of times.

Interestingly enough, even though the ad states "Limit 1 offer per customer", the Manager rang up $90+ worth (this was what the screen showed after my Preferred Card was swiped) of the Lipton Tea and it spit out 9 x $5 catalinas. 3 of these she gave to me for my part of the promo and the other 6 she kept to be used at C.S. just in case someone else had the same problem. So, and she confirmed this, multiple deals can be done in the same transaction, they are just not advertising it. Can we say WOW!!!

The same thing happened to me for the first time since I can remember a couple of weeks ago. The newbie cashier was saying that it said "too many coupons" and that you can't use more than one of the same coupon, which is totally ridiculous. I hope this doesn't become common around here ><;;

With that said, some of our members here have successfully gotten their catalinas even with using coupons, so it has to be that certain items are not/have not been programmed in correctly. :sigh2:

Here is what I bought today for the $15 off $30 promo and it did work with coupons.

2 Wishbone salad dressings (2 0.75 Qs)
1 Lipton Tea (no Q)
2 Progresso Bread Crumbs (1.00 off 2 Q)
2 Yoplait Delights (2 1.00 Qs)
2 Skippy Peanut Butters (1.00 off 2 Q)
2 Chex Mix (2 0.50 Qs)
2 Breyers Ice Creams (1.00 off 2 Q)
2 Lipton Onion Soups (no Q)

total 31.65 - 7.5Q = 24.15. (I realize now I did not need the extra lipton soup to get over $30 but I was thinking on the fly since they did not have an item I originally wanted and trying to keep my 21 mo old son happy.) I did have other items I needed to buy so my total oop was over $30. HTH someone.

Aye! I'm in Vegas, and after reading all the problems from here and other blogs I'm nervous to try this deal out. One of the blogs I read said that no one has had any luck with this sale when aiming for $30 before coupons. My ad says min. purchase requirement excludes manufacturer and store coupons. So hopefully my math will turn out and I'll just be spending a little more OOP than I had hoped.

Thanks desertmama10 for posting the specifics on what you bought! :BigHand:

Well I just got back from doing another run at a different Albertsons store and... my cats didn't print AGAIN! C.S. was nice enough and forced my catalinas to print by scanning my Pillsbury Toaster Strudel (Strawberry) a bunch of times, but even so, they insisted that they thought it was due to my coupon usage. Grrrr!!! :mad20:

When I got home, I called catalina and asked them to check my order from yesterday (they couldn't pull up today's yet) and they confirmed that my coupon usage had nothing to do with my catalinas not printing. What they did confirm was that certain stores have their promo items prices programmed in incorrectly and so even though I bought $31.27 worth of promo items, the catalina system was showing that I was under by over a dollar. :confused58: She said that they have gotten a few similar complaints over the last few days and she suggested that I try to bring my total over the threshold by a few more dollars to try to balance out the problem. Are they serious??? :nah1: I undertand catalinas reasoning, but why should I have to spend more money to get my cats to print when I am already going over the required minimum already? :naughtywag:

If anything, I refuse to let this problem of the cats not printing discourage me from doing the deal a few more times. If I have to visit C.S. a few more times before this promo deal is over, then so be it! :evillaugh1:

They are going to ask you for info on your receipt so that they can pull it up in their system, so make sure to have that on hand when you call. If they can confirm that you bought the right amount of products, then they will mail you your cats.

BTW, even though the ad states "One offer per customer", my stores are the ones that made me aware that the deal can be done multiple times in ONE transaction, or over multiple transactions. :wink7:

My total was 27.64 after the $3 worth of coupons and I received the cats. This is the first time I have done this at a grocery store here in Vegas. I shop CVS all the time for their deals. I had no idea (new at couponing) that they did this at Albertson's. We needed everything I bought, so I am thinking about doing it again before the 10th. Can I use the 3 $5 cats then and get more cats if I say buy the same things?

PhinITA with Phinphana. Since we have had so many problems with this promo, if you can, stick with what has already worked for you. :wink7: BTW, if you have the time, if you could tell us the flavors of the Toaster Strudels and the sizes of your canned vegetables that you bought, that would be great! Thanks!

More good news. Yeah! :BigHand: I'm pretty sure you used coupons to lower your OOP, but did you also roll your cats or did you save them for a later purchase? Inquiring minds want to know. LOL! :giggle2:

I bought 10 cans of the Green Giant Cream Style Sweet corn that was 14.75 oz, 6 GG Whole Kernel Sweet Corn that was 15.25 oz., and 3 GG French Style Green Beans that are 14.5 oz. Hope that helps someone!

Here's what I got yesterday; Cats printed without a problem (but I made sure I was over $30 after coupons):

2 Skippy creamy peanut butter @ $1.99 ea. = $3.98 - $1/2 MQ = $2.98
1 5-lb. bag Gold Medal flour @ $1.99 - $0.50/1 IP = $1.49
9 boxes Kleenex @ $0.99 ea. = $8.91 + $0.78 tax - 3 x $0.50/3 MQ = $8.19
4 Pillsbury Big & Flaky Crescents @ $2.49 ea. = $9.96 - 2 x $1/2 IP = $7.96
4 Breyer's ice cream (coffee, peanut butter tracks, Snickers and fried ice cream flavors) @ $2.99 ea. = $11.96 - 2 x $1/2 IP = $9.96

Sub-total before coupons and tax = $36.80
Total after coupons and tax = $30.58

Hope this helps somebody!

Okay, I stopped on my way to work this morning and bought exactly the same items I bought yesterday minus the toaster strudel. I bought over $30 worth of the Green Giant Creamed Corn, Whole Kernel Corn, and French cut green beans, and 8 boxes of the potato buds (same ones of everything I bought yesterday). Used the $15 worth of cats and paid a little over $15. New cats did not print! I told the cashier that more cats should of printed and he said no, none printed. I asked him to call someone--was really early so no-one was in line behind me and customer service was not open. He called someone and I had to explain to them that I bought $30 worth of the participating items and should have gotten $15 in cats for that. He did not know what I was talking about. He finally called someone else--they looked at the machine and the paper in it was jammed up. Fixed it and cats still did not print. She got the ad out looked at it, looked at my stuff and kept saying she did not know what to do. I just kept standing there patiently--asked her if they could do a reprint, she said no. Finally she went to the register and asked him for the 3 $5 cats I had given them to use on the order. She asked me if they were for the same things that I bought today and I replied that they were. So she handed them back to me!! Said just take these back and I will make the register work out. I asked them if they would accept them again--that wouldn't their register know they had already been used? And she said no, that they all have the same numbers on them so they would work again--is this correct? I know at CVS they would not work again! I was going to do this one more time, but now I am afraid to.

Hmmm... I am now wondering if the cats aren't rolling since nobody has mentioned rolling their cats here and getting another set to print. I could be totally off, but you never know. :shrug7:

As for the numbers on these cats, mine have all been the same and even my cats are beeping. Go figure. :rolleyes24:

I did another transaction today and my cats still didn't print. C.S. stated that they are still having problems with the promo cats printing and that they still haven't figured out which items aren't programmed into the system correctly. :shrug7: They didn't even attempt to blame it on my coupon usage this time and just gave me my $15 in cats. Although I'm happy that they gave me my cats easily enough, I had purposely not rolled my previous cats into this deal to see if I could narrow down the problem. Ah well, now I have $30 in cats to roll into something else instead.

I did roll into moreviva and scott pt only these two items at another store.
it printed I got 12 viva 1.99*12=23.88- $6 in coupons( 0.50*12)
8 scott0.99*8=7.92 -$1and $ 2 coupons
and 15 cat
total : 10 something I think the cashier forgot one more coupon. I got my viva coupons off ebay .its 0.50 /1 viva. I din't get the hand on 0.85 qs otherwise it will be sweet.

I figured after coupon and everything it come to be like 0.50 /roll . If next transaction only viva its gonna cost 0.55 /roll.

I bought 3 boxes of Huggies on Saturday and $30 in cats printed.

2 of the boxes were the *old* supreme huggies diapers. they had more diapers per package and a $30 coupon book was inside each box. The new Huggies supreme diapers are called 'Little Movers' or something like that and have less diapers per box. boooo!

I hope they get more diapers in, I'm going to check tomorrow. they were completely out of the white boxes of Huggies in sizes 4 & 5. That's why i had to get the supreme.

I decided to go try again one more time before this ended. I am so excited that it worked with no glitches. Here is what I done.

Bought a large bucket of ice cream and choc. syrup--not part of the deal, but I WANTED them! :wink7:

Bought the following:
6 packs of knorr for 99 cents each--used 2 coupons for $1 off of 3
4 BC brownie supreme mixes--used 2 coupons for .75 off 2
6 boxes of hamburger helper--used 2 coupons for .75 off 2
2 of the shedd's country crock--used 2 coupons for .55 off
1 box of BC potato buds

My total after the coupons and the $15 worth of cats from the other day was $18.39. Keep in mind that the ice cream was $5.99 and the choc. syrup was $2.29. And the $15 in cats printed with no glitches. I wanted to jump up and down. :BigHand::BigHand:

The cashier even commented that those coupons sure did help you out, huh? Then the cat machine started spitting out the 3 $5 cats, she was dumbfounded!
