Okay, I've been couponing for a year now and I've got a pretty good handle on inserts, rainchecks, triples, etc. But my BIG question is: How is everyone finding non-inserts??

I was SO excited two weeks ago to find two blinkies (the tide in-wash booster and the glade refills), but those are seriously the only non-inserts I've found. Yes, I'm writing to companies, but other than that, how are you finding them? Are people just scouring the stores??

There has been many times were i have found coupons (peelies) on products at target,wm and krogers. Other than the newspaper I get my coupons from ebay and all you if the coupons are worth buying the mag.

You just keep your eyes open. They are at doctor's offices, in flyers, on products, at sample tables....

Well, you know how I find mine lol, other than contacting companies though, I watch for tearpads at the store, and peelies on products that I buy like muir glen tomatoes, they often have peelies. I know a lot of people find theirs at gas stations, I see some but rarely for items that I use so I don't end up bringing many home.

My 5 year old hunts blinkies for me. She'll go tearing down the aisle after them and now knows that two spit out right away and if she waits a few minutes, she'll get another one. You'd think they were spitting out candy the way she goes after them! Give that baby a few weeks and she'll be chasing them for you too! :)

Start watching for them at stores, look for tearpads on special displays and on shelves. Check if there's a bulletin board at the front or back of the store where they might stick them. Ask at the customer service desk too. Look for packages with peelies or with coupons inside or printed on the boxes. I dug through a stack of Rice Krispies yesterday and found one that has a $5 book of coupons in it (couldn't find more than one though). Check women's magazines for coupons (doctor and ped's office are great for these kinds of magazines). Write to companies with complaints and compliments (these are usually bigger better coupons than normal too).

The noninserts I mainly get are blinkies from Publix. I'll occasionally find tearpads, but my area doesn't seem to be big on them or on winetags. I also trade for noninsert potlucks when I want a good variety that I'll never find myself.

Case in point: I went to Kmart and found a booklet of coupons at the cs desk while I was getting a raincheck.
