Is .53 cents for a 12 can of Carnation evaporated milk a good deal? They are only sale for 78 cents and I have a 50c/2 coupon from this past sundays paper.

I would pay that. Around here it is regularly priced at about $1 or higher. So 53c is about a 50% savings.

At Bi-Lo, they are now $1.19 ea. I was shocked when I looked at them last week. I had some soon expiring Qs and it's a handy thing to have on hand for cooking when there's no milk in the house. Even with the Qs I had, I wouldn't buy them. If you can get them for .53 ea., grab'em.

if you have Kroger, do the mega deal and get 10 cans FREE:biggrin:

53 cents is great, IMO. Of course, I live in LA, and everything is so expensive here! The cheapest I can get it at my Kroger affiliate, even with the mega and coupon, is 79 cents a can.

Yes, that's a "good" deal, but not a great one. Kroger or triples at HT will make it free. Do you have those stores?
