I never go to Kroger but with the Mega Sale going on I figured I would give it a shot... I cannot make a bit of sense out of the register receipt! I dont think some of my pricing was right and I know some of my coupons that I saw her take off didnt actually come off with the right amount.. but she was going so fast that I didnt catch it until now. I know I had 2 of the $3 off Snuggle that I used but there are no $3 off coupons listed at the bottom.. only $2 ones :shrug7:

Anyone have a clue how to make sense of their receipts? I probably lost about $10.00 in mistakes but cant read these things to be sure....... HELP! :hectic1:

Contact customer service asap -- they need to check her drawer for those coupons. (On my Kroger receipts the coupons do come out listed clearly at the end - if your $3 coupons aren't showing, they weren't taken off.) The only thing I have had come up confusing on Kroger receipts are clearance items.

Double check that you were charged for the Snuggle too (and right size?).. just in case she had multiple scanning issues today :p

The prices on the right are what you were charged. should be the sales price without mega deal promo. Each item included in mega deal will have a [+] infront of PC . The Mega deal comes off at the bottom. $5.00 for each 10. Hope this helps some. I really used to hate mega deals. But I am starting to learn better how to work the deals! Don't be afraid to ask cashier to slow down. I got ripped off once big time, By Mr. speedy cashier.

I called the store and the Customer Service girl was really helpful.. she actually went thru the cashiers coupons from the time I was in the store and located my coupons.. shocked me that she would go to that extent to help me but she did! She found the $3 Snuggle Q's and when she called me back on the phone she told me how sorry she was and I could come and get my $6.. I went and got it too! :giggle2:

I know there was more Q's that were likely not on there but because there were so many like amounts there was no way for me to figure it out but those 2 were easy because they were my only $3 ones.. so $6 back is better than nothing... I will take the time to count how many Q's I am gonna use the next time and watch them a lot closer.

Thanks for the help!

what helps me, is going through self check out. i scan the items myself, and if i have a lot of qs, especially with the same amount, i put them in the order i scan the items. that way i know exactly which qs were used. also if you can break up same-amount qs that helps too, like this:

scan items

drink .50
drink .50
drink .50
cookies $1
cookies $1
cookies $1
candy .50
candy .50
candy .50

then give qs like this:

.50 drink q
.50 drink q
.50 drink q
$1 cookie q
$1 cookie q
$1 cookie q
.50 candy q
.50 candy q
.50 candy q

itll show up on the receipt .50, .50, .50, $1, $1, $1, .50, .50, .50

then if theres one missing, just go back to the items and you can tell which was missed :)

Our Kroger doesnt have the self check outs but I think I could still set it up that way... great idea. Thanks!
