Thanks Editing! Repped you!
And Mayan, we still love you too! You get the week off :=)
I liked this:
BOGO
Kellogg Cereal - Frosted flakes(14 oz), Froot loops/apple jacks(12.2 oz), Corn pops(12.5 oz). I wonder how much they are though b/c I have $1/1s left from a couple of weeks ago. Don't want to pay more than $1 / box though.
Just got 4 free boxes of Kashi from this week's add - actually made $1 on it!! Woot!

In the instant savings section - "Buy any 6 - save $3"
It lists Glade Scented Oil candle - 2oz pkg
The picture shows a jar candle
Jar candles are 4oz
Scented oil candles that come with one melt thing are 1oz
any thoughts on what this might be for?

Anyone ever take a receipt back to Giant for a price adjustment?
I bought 6 of the lightbulbs tonight 10/31 that will be Free starting 11/1 using the $1/1 GE Lightbulb Q.
I KNEW I should have looked at the ad for 11/1 before I left but I was in a rush. I also bought bread that is B1G1 starting 11/1. Darn it!
I have to go back tomorrow anyway because the cashier didn't scan one of my Q's. Thinking I'll ask customer service to price adjust the lightbulbs.

I just looked at my ad. Are you referring to the GE EnergySmart Compact light bulbs? They are priced at $1.49 on sale - $1 q = $.50. Do you have a $1.50/off q?

Yep. I returned the six I purchased last night and had her re-ring them at the $1 price. Free lightbulbs!
I also took back the bread and oatmeal I'd purchased and got the B1G1 deal.
I returned something like $28.XX and repurchased with another oatmeal and another bread for $12.XX. I really should have looked at my circular before I left so I could have avoided this extra trip. Had to take my almost 3 year old with me and spend $.50 on the darned Merry-go-round out front.:rolleyes24:

I just got back from Giant. Its been a horrendus past feew weeks, and its going to continue untill I'm not sure. If I pay cash for a gallon of milk....I've spent too much $$$. (Don't worry, we aren't going to starve, just going to have to get really creative with the meal figuring out). Anyhow, they have kraft minute rice 7oz boxes for 77¢. There were 50¢ coupons in inserts within the passed two or three weeks. Also if you are getting any of the cheap hunts sauce/past items, you can print off a coupon for 50¢/2 cans hunts canned tomatoes Special Offers - Coupons Made Simple - Simple and Delicious (http://www.simpleanddelicious.com/special-offers/coupon-central.jsp)
and also if you go to ConAgra Foods Recession Payback (http://www.recessionpayback.com/#/select) and play the game, at the end, you can pick people and then print out a coupon. Chose the hunts person, and you can print out a coupon for $1/3 hunts items.

That's a sweet little deal Avon! I don't see why it wouldn't work unless your store limits the number of like Qs or if they won't allow you to use 2 Qs on a BOGO deal.
Somebody asked a while ago if the $2/$5 meat purchase only worked on the store wrapped purchase and the answer was No. People were using it on pre packaged items too (not sure if this is a YMMV deal or not).
If I had 6 Qs, I sure would give it a go. I might check and see what I have in my stash!

Here is the link to the Curly's Q (LOL - what a dry sense of humor I have!!)
Always Pulled Never Shredded Curly's (http://www.curlys.com/devweb2/coupon.htm)
It is from the coupon database and it sends you to a JPG that you can print multiples of.
-EDIT- Sorry, my screen hadn't refreshed and I missed your post. I thought the same thing about using multiples, but it is truly valid from what I see. I am going to try it. Thanks for the deal suggestion!

Yeah, I stopped today b/c I already had printed my Qs but ran into a little trouble with them. They said they came up with a new rule that they will only allow one like internet Q per order, so I couldn't use 2 or the Curly's on the BOGO. I was able to use 2 Qs on the Apple Jacks and Fruit Loops but not on these b/c it was internet. So, I seperated them into two different orders to at least save one more dollar.
I think I am going to contact corporate on this one b/c I have not seen anything about only being able to use one like Q. I even asked for a manager to come over b/c this surprised me so much. I taught him a couple of things about coupons (like the different bar codes so you know if they are photocopied). The Curly Qs wouldn't scan at ALL. I told him I was able to use multiple SmartSource internet Qs on the same order. He got on his little radio thing and called some woman who said they got new computers. She thought maybe they were scanning b/c they are affiliated with SmartSource??? Yeah, I don't know.
I am going to ask corporate the following:
1. When did this new limit of one like internet Q come into place? I am not asking them to double, just accept them.
2. Could they explain the corporate policy on using 2 coupons on a BOGO deal? - I might or might not ask this one. The SCO allowed 2 to go through on the cereal. Maybe it's best not to bring it up! LOL
3. If I have two coupons for Green Giant but they are for a .50/1 and a .75/2, should they both double? I would think so but am finding they are not. I think it sees two of the same manf and skips the second double.
I have looked at the Q policy on their website and don't think the first two items are discussed. I think the 3rd answer should be that they should both double.
Hope that makes sense.
I still did the deal. I figured:
2 Curlys for 6.29 - $1 printable - $2 meat purchase Q = 3.29 for two containers. $1.65 ea - that's a nice price for a quick meal
Have any of you frozen these or the Lloyds tubs?

Hi, we just got a brand-new Giant this week in the Poconos. I haven't shopped there before much at all. From what I can gather -- they won't double more than one coupon per order on duplicate items? And now I'm reading they won't even ACCEPT more than one like IP?
Sheesh. Pretty strict rules. And the prices, while competitive on the "loss leaders," are usually high, say friends from other areas with Giants.
So what's the advantage? I really would like to find some, since our old supermarkets could use the competition (they're too complacent).
Thanks!
