Hi,:wavehi:

Just thought I would mention to all the HT shoppers that if you need or run out of HT paper grocery bags (the ones with handles), you can request as many as you need or desire. I ran out of paper bags for recycling and needed some. Unlike Whole Foods Market stores, where you pay for the "extra" paper shopping bags, HT does NOT charge for the paper bags.

Just tell the Customer Service Desk that you would like some. They have a notebook that they log in the number of bags and consider it a "donation" to the person(s) and/or organizations requesting the "extra" paper bags. I donate the bags to schools, churches, etc. for craft projects or use for my own projects. You just need to sign their log book.

Just thought you would like to know--:wink7:

Thanks, our church food pantry uses these--they have a set of meals for like three days and wrap them in these which makes them easy to hand out.

I went to Lowes Foods a while back to ask for a donation of about 50 bags that my kids needed to collect for a food drive. They turned me down! I even said if you can't give 50, even a few would be nice. She said the bags were expensive and she couldn't spare any.

So I went across the street to HT and the mgr very generously told me I could have all I needed, and to please come back if I needed more.

Glad to see that I am not the only one who receives great service on the bags. Shall we "bag" this post--paper or plastic please?:giggle2::biggrin:

Just kidding--post is open in Lane (Express)--:hysterical::hectic1:
