Which day to shop?

I am trying to get my family on a grocery shopping schedule for next month, and I was wondering what day is the best day to shop? My store starts there new sales for the week on Wednesday. I like to do my shopping early in the morning, so I can get the best deals on meats.

So which day do you shop? :hectic1:

I usually shop on Fridays early in the AM. Since we homeschool our kids, I can usually work my errands around the school. Also, I usually Amazon.com for some items. It depends on what I need.

Also, some sales (depends on the stores--"big box" or grocery stores) starts on Thursdays. Some early Fridays if I don't need much or late Fridays is when I shop when my husband is home at night.

suday is a very bad day to go it s always packed with shoppers...I like monday or wedensday.. monday for the best marked down meat and wed for the best of the new sales ad

I like to go early on Saturday morning. There's never anyone in line, they stock up overnight the night before, the kids stay home with dh, I'm fresh and relaxed and ready to tackle things.

My stores start their sales on Sun or Mon. I shop on Thursday and never have problems with them being low on stock. Both of my stores seem to restock on Wednesday, so that's probably why the stock levels are good when I go.

Sunday is the worst day to shop! Around here, not only are the stores crowded with shoppers, but it's also the day that all of the high school kids and college kids work the registers. Most of them aren't coupon-smart...and some aren't coupon-friendly. At one of my stores, none of the regular managers are ever there on Sunday either. So it's hard to explain anything if there's a problem.

My grocery stores start ads on wed, thurs, and fri. I like to go early on Monday for good meat clearance, but also usually go again on wednesday or thursday. I only do a big shopping trip every 2 weeks but in between I hit the sales on stuff we need or can stock up on.

I go whatever time I can get away without any kids... so usually M-F 8-2.

Other than that, I live in SE GA, and Sunday mornings EVERYONE (except me) is in church. I feel like all the stores are my own personal playground they are so empty!

I shop on the first day of the sales cycle (Weds and Thurs, depending on store). But I go again on the last day of the sales cycle to see whether they've run out of anything so I can pick up rainchecks. In fact, I usually go to at least 2 different Publix stores and the last days of their sales cycle because I want as many rainchecks as I can get!
