In Lowes Food coupon policy it says that "To ensure product availability for all customers, we limit redemption to 4 coupons for 4 of the same item. For example, if you have five coupons for a specific cereal and have purchased five of the item, we will honor the coupon for up to four of the boxes of cereal."

My question is this: Say I have 12 of the same coupons, I purchase 4 reg., 4 fat free, and 4 low fat items (same brand, size, etc.) am I correct in thinking I should be able to use all 12? My understanding of the policy is only 4 q's for the same item not 4 for each manufacture or brand.

Am I understanding this correctly? :shrug7:

At my store they would take them if it was for (say) $1 off but if it was a doubling coupon then only 4 will double - make sense?

A couple of things to remember:

1) Only 4 like coupons will double.
2) The register will accept more than 4 like coupons, but only the first 4 will double.
3) It is up to the store to determine what "4 like items" are. In my opinion, "4 like items" is 4 of the same SKU. So a Special K Blueberry is not the same as a Special K Strawberry. But, as it has already been said, it is based on what you store thinks. At my store, I've never had a problem using 4 of the same coupon...but I make sure I'm getting different variaties of the same item, i.e. 4 Old Orchard Apple Juice, 4 Old Orchard Cranberry, 4 Old Orchard Grape Juice, etc.

Hope you have better luck at your store(s) than I have at mine.
