Harris Teeter: No Triples or Super Doubles 10/28/09 to 11/04/09

Definitely NO TRIPLES OR SUPER DOUBLES 10/28/09 to 11/04/09. A Scan Coordinator at one of my local HT stores that I know well told me so today. Apparently, she said that the stores will probably (not sure yet) will do TRIPLES OR SUPER DOUBLES MAY BE THE WEEK OF 11/11/09 which is 2 WEEKS BEFORE THANKSGIVING SALES.:shrug7::sad:

The Scan Coordinators are the ones who do the price changes, pulls shelf tags, etc. I saw her today and asked what she was doing. She explained the ad cycles too.

For making us wait this long, they better do BOTH super doubles AND triples in the same week! :hysterical: No, not really...I could not handle that! But they have done them almost back-to-back weeks before.

The truth is, I don't go to HT on a weekly basis. I'm sure I am not alone. So if they want me to darken their doors again, they need to hurry up! :giggle2:

my stockpile is in desperate need of a feeding. I have quite a few shelves that are almost empty and with the holidays coming up and the kids being home more I really need to stock up. if HT doesn't do a SD or triples event soon I may have to start grocery shopping at Wal-Mart again :mad37:

I've moved over almost all of my shopping to Superwalmart (despite the drive for me), Kroger, and Target. The only thing I still buy at HT is beef and a few specialty products, and I'm slowly breaking myself of those habits.

my store manager had told me a month or so ago that the whole triple/SD between thanksgiving and christmas was looking like it WOULD happen....i'm planning on plenty of time to stock up on groceries :whistle67:

HT is a little far for me to go on a regular basis so I don't go unless they have triples or SD's. Hope they have them soon!

If you are in the Charlotte area Bloom is having Super Doubles. I think many other areas with Bloom are as well.

Yep, I am also transitioning myself away from HT and am now checking Super Targe for prices. I live in Raleigh, and while I will go to Super WM, they are not near me so it is really a pain to go there. If the savings are good enough I will drag myself there, but if not then I don't want to go. Anyone else from the Raleigh area ---where do you do the bulk of your grocery shopping?
