My CVS had 2 shopping carts full of Nyquil and Dayquil gelcaps, Sudafed PM, Advil, CVS brand cough drops, Airborne, Similasin and various other cold/allergy medicines. Stuff was marked down as low as 30 cents (90% off!), and not expired yet (some expires in January or early next year, but with cold/flu season starting mine will get used before it expires).
There were also kid's crayola electric toothbrushes, as well as some Hannah Montana coloring books.
HTH ^_^

Thanks for the heads up! We could use some cheap cold medicine. Of course, you have to be really careful checking the dates at CVS. I've had the product beep at the register and the cashier say it's expired or unable to be sold several times now.

I had that happen a couple of weeks ago when I tried to buy robitussin -_-
I'm hoping other states jump on board with California's rule where if you find something expired you get $2.

Holy cow, I'd be rich in ECBs and RRs if Ohio did that.

What rule is this?? I live in CA and don't know about this. But make sure you check the expiration date. I was going to buy some meds on clearance for pennies at CVS this week and then I saw that they expired in 2008!

Here's a link (http://www.legalnewsline.com/news/221436-cvs-pharmacy-settles-with-calif.-ag-agrees-to-2-coupon-policy) to the story (legalnewsline.com)
You get $2 ECB if you find expired product at CVS in CA. You might want to email customer service and print out something to show the manager at your CVS just to be safe, though. I'm assuming it's still in effect but it doesn't hurt to double check and have proof!
