this week i started with 11 rr's so i am right the right track I guess:giggle2:

I try to keep my balance under $50 so I can actually roll it... I only had $5 in $1 RR three weeks ago....
Now I'm up over $80 and I have been TRYING my best to keep the amount low... 40+ razors.. 10+ vaseline... more dental floss, trident, halls and pencils than I care to count...
AND I still have razor coupons left... along with a few rain checks
At one time I had over $150 but it was too hard to spend it all... Just waiting on the the next Bayer meter deal to get it that high again....

Don't feel bad. I've been at this about a year now and I've never had more than $50 at a time. I roll small because I have one store and I try to lay low. Also I feel kinda itchy when I have too many esp. if they have varied expiration dates because I've had one or two expire before and it makes you feel sick! It's like ugh I just paid full price for toothpaste when they expire and that my friends, is an awful feeling.

I have probably about 50 right now...which is the most i've ever had... For some reason this week....when I went...they actually had all the products I always look for...but are always out.
I figure maybe the regulars have swine flu or something so they didn't shelf clear this week.
We will see what this next week brings.

Not sure what the most I've had is, but I have $105.50 right now. It was definitely more a few weeks ago. I just spent a bunch in the past week or two on papers, milk, eggs, bacon, honey, pancake mix, and I'm sure other stuff too. Thankfully I have a ton of stores in my area so I try to spread the love around a bit.

I try not to get too many (say $50) at a time too. Try to keep my OOP low, AND my local supermarket accepts Wags RR's. Love it! I've really enjoyed all the deals spread out over this whole month - allows me to roll RR's regularly, and have time to plan my deals carefully.

WOW....you guys have some awesome numbers! I thought mine was high at $80 (I can't remember what it was after the Bayer deal last time). All I could remember was I was so stressed I'd lose those little pieces of paper, or forget to roll one, and vowed to never do it again that high. It's been awhile now, so I'm up for the challenge again!

:BigHand: Wow some of your totals are incredible! Most I have had is around 100. I really try to roll them each week if possible I always worry that I will forget and they will expire. I have (knock on wood) not had that happen yet.
I had the most when they were doing the $10 Gatorade deal. Hope someday they bring that one back. I remember going to 3 stores on my way to work, then going again on my way back.

Wow! Those are some amazing numbers!
The most I've had is around $50, but I only have one store within 30 miles with limited stock.
I too like to roll my RR's each week. It would be an unspeakable tragedy to let them expire!

Our town just got a Walgreens, so it's the first time I've really been able to work the deals. I have about $30 worth right now, & I'm not impressed w/ this weeks ad & now I'm worried about what I'm going to spend them on! What do you all spend your RR on when you don't want to get whatever's in the ad?

Right now I have $68 which is a lot for me at WAG. When I was a CVS'er, I had well over $100 (most was $180-ish) ECBs. I miss CVS! No CVS around in NM!!! I wish RR had longer expiration date (like ECB's 1-month long expiration date) and also not having to worry about rolling into the same manufacturer rule, and lastly none of the item to MQ/RR count logic.

My highest was after that deal too, although I don't remember how many I had - a ton!! If I remember correctly, the Charmin wipes were $.11 each after in-ad Q and MC. The cheapest Cover Girl eyeliner was another way to get a $20 RR with very little OOP.
And those were the days when you could roll your RRs into ESR items and get all your OOP back.
I still have over $150 on my WAGs rebate cards. Since I am well stockpiled on all items WAGs, I wait for the best deals - like the Bayer Monitor deal or the Ecotrin deal (where you pay nothing in OOP due to use of MCs and get a RR).
Oh, how I wish they'd bring back the ESR program. Shopping WAGs in those days was a no-brainer.

Oh, how I wish they'd bring back the ESR program. Shopping WAGs in those days was a no-brainer.
I try to keep my total RRs in hand under $15 at any given time so they are more manageable, but these next two weeks aren't looking great for rolling. I would never shop at Walgreens without the RR deals, the prices even on sales are just too high compared to other stores in the area.
What I try to do is save up many of my MIRs and TMFs that I pick up through trading and other sources and then use my RRs (and manufacturer coupons!) to buy those products from Walgreens. Then I don't care as much that the prices are high, because I'll get the purchase price back from the rebate, so in essence you can still get back a great deal of your OOP if you do it this way. Of course you have to pay for a stamp and possibly tax, but I personally prefer this instead of using my RRs to buy overpriced (IMHO) products from Walgreens.
Just be careful if you want to do this that you make sure you only have one rebate item per transaction/receipt if you need to send in the originals. HTH someone!

I have around $40. How do you ladies with these large amounts roll them? I have a hard time not spending to much out of pocket at Walgreen's. Some of the stores around me are not coupon friendly at all. Do the store managers order things just for you? I am sorry I got off topic. I think that is awesome but I am not that advanced yet!

To Make them Coupon Friendly,
you may buy some filler that usually on the cashier counter, because every time you buy one or two they will make 5-10cent commision, it work for you and the cashier so they will be friendly. usually the item they invited you to buy that is the one they make some money.

Im just over 100 in RR. I dont usually carry more than 30 or so. My goal was 100 for black friday and now I am holding 100+ all good til after that day. I do plan to roll some because I want to stock up on Aussie. Ive got kids in theatre and we go thru a ton of hairspray and mousse during show runs. The best RR deal Ive been around for was the Almay $10. Havent been around long enough to enjoy the $10rr deal. I could open a drugstore here. Have been sharing theraflu with all my sick friends LOL Locating the constipated ones (dulcolax) is a bit more difficult :hysterical:
ETA : One reason I dont build to super high RR totals is because I have pretty much zero OOP at Wags ever. I just dont have real money in the budget to spend there right now. So, 100rr is a huge feat  The last few weeks Ive been blowing RR on curling irons, rollers and other things that my girls needed for this show. I wouldnt have had the $ to do this if it wasnt for being diligent on the wags deals.

I had over $200 in RR after the incredible October sale....by far the most RRs I ever had I blew it all on Nicotine gum...that stuff is pricey...about $70 for the large box of the good stuff....so three boxes relieved me of the stress of how to use the RRs in Nov (which pales in comparison to Oct) and it was something I'd buy anyway. I usually splurge on the gum when I have a good build up of RRs and a lackluster sale so little to roll them with.

Please don't flame me, but I am really wondering about what people are doing to get hundreds of dollars in rr. Having over $700 in rr must mean tons of trips. Is this the reason cashiers are upset and imposing limits because some shoppers are making this a job? I know how to do this, that is not what I am asking, but don't stores get angry when you shop that much? My sister and I just did a bunch of shopping together and ran into angry cashiers more than once. We are always very polite and do deals just a few times each, yet cashiers seem out for blood sometimes. I have to wonder what they have seen to cause them to be so angry? More and more posts pop up all the time about cashiers saying there are new rules about coupons and rr, which they basically made up. Just wondering if this is part of the problem, but not trying to bash anyone.

In my opinions, the cashiers that got upset with couponers are just jealous with smart shopping people. I've seen good cashiers - friendly and even ask if I want to do more than one transactions, and I also encountered with nasty cashier who just stare at my cart when I'm waiting to check out, and create lots of problem when checking me out, and she is one of the member of this board.
So if your store don't pose a limit, just buy whatever you feel you need it.

My store is very coupon friendly and I have no trouble checking out more than once. I usually check out 1-3 times per trip. However, thinking about how many times I would have to check out to to get $500-$700 in rr, my head hurt just thinking about it in fact! One poster at a board I won't name, claims checking out 30 times is a small trip for her. I could see where that might have employees upset. This would have to happen daily, or more, and never ending.

My comment is a bit off topic too.
I also thought that the cashiers must just be angry at people because they get their items at such a low price and maybe even make a buck or two in the process - until monday when I went to Walgreens to do two transactions. (I wanted one Aussie shampoo and one conditioner).
The cashier was happy to do my 2 transactions but then told me a story about a woman who came in close to closing the night before and wanted to do 10 transactions! She said that with all of the items, coupons, and RRs she had, they had to stay almost 45 minutes AFTER closing time to finish checking her out completely. She said it upset everyone. Now, I am ALL FOR getting good deals and building up RRs for more purchases later but..... is it just me or is that just excessive??? Is that how people are REALLY doing it???
Anyways, the most in RRs I have ever had was about $28 and I thought I was doing great :hysterical:.

That is what I am saying. I didn't really realize how excessive some people are, day after day. I had almost $40 in RR a few weeks ago and was so excited! I never really quite understood how excessive many people are. Now I think I finally understand how some cashiers become so unfriendly to couponers.
