Welcome! Sorry to hear about your job loss. I am two counties east of you about an hour and a half from Mobile. I was just there last weekend. I stopped by Goodwill and Azalea and bought 2 .99 items for my vacation last week. I was lucky to find discounts for food and the room.

I will have my nose back to the grindstone tomorrow. I am also trying to cut back where we can afford to go on a mini vacation again next month. My dh, who has been on short-term/long-term disability since Feb.. will need surgery in a few months and I don't know how mobile he will be afterwards.

I have been couponing since I was a student at South AL. Where I live, I am limited to just a few grocers. We have 2 local, one regional chain and SuperWalmart. Only one of them doubles coupons. We also have Walgreens, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Fred's and 2 Dollar Generals.

Have you been to the new Publix in Fairhope? It is so nice!
