FINALLY the Jollytime popcorn is $1 again. I have all the $1/1 qs from the rebate and I've been waiting to use the darn things.

Canned mushrooms at .44 and baby carrots at .69 seem nice and of course the Dannon yogurt, lovin that. One of the few yogurt brands that have HFCS-free varieties huzzah!

And thanks once again to aspensmommy for posting this! Everyone rep! If you're a lurker you create an account RIGHT NOW just to give reps lol.

The cereal deal could be even better if they have the cereals with the movie code in them. You need 2 codes to get a free movie voucher. So 6 cereals some milk and 2 movie tickets for cheap.
Also if you have never tried organic milk before this may be a way to try it for free since it is up to $6. I think the price for organic milk at hy-vee is $5.99 a gallon.
Roberts dairy also has a new coupon booklet out with coupons for buy a gallon of choc. milk get a 1/2 gallon of strawberry free. And buy a gallon of milk and get a 1/2 gallon of skim extra free.

Where did you find the Roberts coupon book at?

and does anyone know how much the gm cereals are to begin with? I think it says on the $10 off coupon, but I can't see....

My DH works for Robert's Dairy and gets them for me.
I would go to there website and see if they will send you the new booklet.
I know that they were sending out the last booklet a few months ago.
The new booklet does not expire until 12/31/10.

Alright I think I have quite a few deals assembled. I want to make it over to there to see how much all the GM cereals actually are and hopefully pair that with some coupons. That deal then becomes a lot better I'd imagine.

Plucked from my blog (http://housewifehacks.com/matchups/hyvee-matchups-1027-1102/), here are some of my fav picks of the week. Hope this helps!

Campbell’s Chunky Soup
HyVee Price = 4/$5 ($1.25 ea.)
Use $.75/3 cpn from 10/11 SmartSource
Your Price = $1.00 each when you buy 3.

Capurro Farms Lettuce (green, romaine, or red bunch)
HyVee Price = $.99

HyVee 85% Lean Ground Chuck, 90% Lean Ground Round, or 90% Lean Ground Sirloin
Use in-ad coupon for $2 off any 2 lbs of the above from full service meat case
Your Price = variable, prices not listed but possibly a good deal!

Midwest Country Fare Brown or Powdered Sugar 2 lb.
HyVee Price = $1.18

Buy any 6 General Mills Cereal Get $10 Off AND GET FREE MILK! (in ad coupon) (looking for the specs on this still)

Butter Kernel Canned Vegetables, selected varieties 14.5-15 oz. (green beans, corn, and peas shown)
Use In-ad coupon
Your Price = 3/$1 (purchase of 3 required)

Dannon Yogurt
Use in-ad coupon for $1 off 10
PLUS
Use $1 off 10 coupon from 10/25 SmartSource
Your Price = $.19 per carton!

those are the best of the best in my opinion. I'm not a soda buyer (because I abuse it, lol) so I don't know if the 4/$11 coupon for Pepsi is a good deal these days.

Thanks for reading!

Just came back from my trip to HV- got a really good deal on the GM cereal:

*The original Cherrios are 5/10 and I had (4) $1/1 Qs!

4 original Cherrios @ $2 = $8 - (4) 1/1 = $4
2 Banana Nut Cherrios @ $3.79 =7.58 - (2) .55/1 = $6.48
total 10.48
-10/1 in ad Q
= $.48 oop
and get a $6 cat oyno (it just says up to $6 off, and doesn't stipulate just 1 gal., so looks like 2 free gal of milk to boot!)

Most of the GM cereals were regular price. The original cherrios, Cinnamon toast Crunch and 1 other (can't remember) were 5/10. I didn't have time to write them down. Did anyone else get the prices?

Awesome! Going back again:)

:BigHand:Wow Cody that's impressive! I love seeing that happen.

I did some math and I think I have this working. I posted this on my blog (http://housewifehacks.com/matchups/hyvee-update-on-general-mills-cereal-milk-promotion/). If Cinnamon Toast Crunch isn't 5/$10 then obv. it'll be higher. But at any rate I think cereal will be a huge score. Here's my calculation:

Cinnamon Toast Crunch
HyVee Price = $2.00 per box
Use $1/2 printable from Bricks (http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qgbwcho51084770&bt=vi&o=57174&c=GM&p=M7Zoxktf) for Cinnamon Toast crunch & others (print x2)
Use $.55 printable Cinnamon Toast crunch coupon from Bricks (http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qi2pcbd5444168&bt=wi&o=57604&pt=&lang=&ws=&ct=&ci=&cl=&cp=&eb=1&c=GM&p=1661fd71-55e6-46d6-8cfe-da390f5e0ecf&z=&r=&pc=&tc=)
Plus $1/3 coupons from 10/4 0r /18 SmartSource
you’d have all 6 boxes covered with a coupon. Cheerios would work with this price too if they are also $2. 1
Total Price of cereals before coupons = $12
Total Price of cereals after coupons = $9.50
Total Price of cereals after HyVee promotion = FREE plus $.50 overage, plus FREE milk.

Hope that helps!

Amy

I went today and got the six GM cereals - my $10 came off but I did not get my Catalina. I had to go to the service desk and they gave me $6 and told me that the "coupon machine" in that checkout was not working. So I came back later and did the deal again, making sure to use a different checkout lane - still no Catalina.:hectic1: And I was in a hurry the second time so I couldn't get my $6. I wonder if this is the store's problem or a Catalina problem - who should I call about this?

Okay. I am just planning out my shopping for the weekend...I have never used a catalina at HyVee before...I want to make sure if I can do this. I have 50c/1 mfr coupons for Roberts milk...can I use those in conjunction with the catalina? Because if the cats are good for the full $6 then if I can use the mfr coupons I can get another gallon or so when it's all said and done for "free" with the cat...

just checking. thanks :giggle2:

The $6 coupon says "manufacturer coupon" at the top, and states "on milk". So, I would say this is going to count as the coupon on your milk. But, it might be YMMV.

Also, the $6 catalina/coupon does not specify it has to be used on cow milk.

Went to 3 HyVee's yesterday and all of their GM cereals were priced differently :rolleyes24: The first had them on sale 2/$5. The second had them $3.09 per box and the 3rd had them $3.49 per box. Hope that helps someone who is trying to work out the deal...

I only ended up buying the cereal at the first store, here's how my transaction went...

6 boxes * $2.50 = $15
Minus $10/6 HyVee q = $5
Minus (2) $1/3 mfr q = $3 for 6 boxes of cereal...PLUS a cat for $6 off milk (thats ALMOST 3 whole gallons around here :BigHand:)

Hope you all can get some cheap cereal and free milk before this deal is over!!

checked 2 stores today. Cheapest cereal at first one was $3.09. Second store had Lucky Charms, Count Chocula, and Frankenberry on Managers Special for $2.29. Got 6 boxes, plus the $6 catalina, for $0.74 after (3) $1/2coupons.
