I do not yet.....I finally got the official list from DH, he went to the store again. Prices are not listed,as I suspected. I know last year the chili was .49 after mega sale discount. Hopefully it will be the same this year. If everyone can please update as they do Krogering on Monday, I will update the first post.

I got the ad today and Ricola cough drops and Chap stick are 50 cents after mega. I don't see any reference to Halls but maybe it's not in the ad. I want to say I saw a Ricola coupon recently for buy x get y free, but I can't remember what it was for. I don't usually buy these-- are they as good as Halls? I live on Halls when my allergies are bad. =)

Also, the Nestle candy for the madness sale is too small for the $2.00/1 coupon (unfortunately). However, there is a $1.00/1 printable on the Nestle website you can use.

If anyone is doing the Pink Together GM rebate, the Pie Crusts (part of mega) are a good deal. But you must purchase them on 10/26. That is the last date of the rebate I think.

Spend $1.99*6-3x $1.00/2 peelies (or doubled $0.50/2 coupons)-$4 OYNO cat =$5 oop less $5 Rebate=FREE

BTW everyone, I have updated with some new cellfire and shortcuts coupons in the matchups. Should make for a little sweeter deal on some of the items. Remember you can stack the e coupons with the paper. They do not double and they are only good for one item, but every little bit helps.

I'm doing a happy dance over the Chapstick sale.

I don't have any coupons-but .50 cents is a good price for me, and I am addicted to Chapstick.

Now, if only I can get my hands on some Propel coupons.

Free after insert coupons that expire on 10/31 and also some came out this past Sunday. THey are on sale for .86 thtrough 11/14 (I think.) .50/1 coupon doubles making the item free. we won't know what the mm's are untill monday. the chili might be....... depending on the price it actually is.

yea my coupons won't be there til midweek at least so I'll have to wait on most everything. but I have my yakisobas to get still (though more coupons on the way!), so I'll work on those til then. might be able to hit the store early am Monday after dropping J at school before I got to class. Im gonna guess no on the chili since right now its NOT 10/10, and is $1.34 shelf price. So take away .50 and you've got .84/can.... well, the milk is already 10/10 the propel was 10/10 etc etc so... but..the stupid tuna was $1.41 shelf price tonight also... so it may just end up being "free" but if it goes 10/10 -50 then we may be in business. very sneaky of them to play this game w/us!!! *off soapbox**

ok at two stores today the shelf tags (without yellow extra tag things) for Betty Crocker Pouch mashed potatoes was $1.00

is this a change from before? its not the box taters for the sale right? its the pouch ones? if so and the price doesn't change from $1.00 we are still looking at free right?

$10 (10 pouches) - $5 (deal savings) - $5 (.25 x 10, then doubled) = free....

Yes, Kraft mac and cheese with evaporated milk and real butter equals heaven.

REALLY...I've never tried it. Do you do it the same way as normal...1/4 cup? How cool would the be. Of course I'm totally kicking myself for needing milk two weeks ago...so I bought it at $.99...UGH!! How could I do that to myself...darn pumpkin pie...thankfully it tasted good! :hysterical:

guys...my DH is having a field day with this one. I'm so darn excited...how crazy is that!

I'm actually calling friends and such that I usually get their coupons at some point and saying..."can I have them NOW" :giggle2: :giggle2: :giggle2:

I wish I knew what some of you looked like so I'd know if I saw a fellow HCWer out and about. I've converted a few over to HCW.

(one person at the last biggs deal was looking through a list of everything she had "priced" done by someone else...I told her that the stuff I found at HCW is 99% reliable and I've never gotten to the store and gone...WTH?...so she should check it out...and RANDOMLY I saw her two days later at the same biggs...never shop there...and she said she checked it out and really liked it... :BigHand:)

But I've never met any of you guys...although I don't think many of you guys come over to the Finneytown side of town :giggle2: (although I find it is a nice kroger...)

Okay...back to organizing stuff. I've not been this excited about shopping since the first time Biggs did triple a while back...I'm SUCH a dork. If you told me that I'd be like this a year and some ago I would have told you that you were on serious CRACK!!!

Thankfully the boys are both in school in the morning...so I'll actually have time to go to scope out things!

I went online to look at the "Additional In Store Savings Ad" and they have Bumblebee tuna pouches listed for 99 cents. This ad doesn't mention the mega deal, but many of the mega items are listed on it at the before-mega discount price. (Ex: Steamfresh meals for $5.99, Frank's Red Hot for $1.99).

So, if these items are mega the tuna would be .50 after discount and a .50 MM. If they are not mega, it would still be free.

Went to Kroger this a.m. at about 9:00. They were very low on regular evap milk (not lowfat or nonfat), Swiss Miss, BC potatoes, BC fruit shapes, Ready Rice, Dole mandarin oranges and All detergent. Surprisingly, they had a ton of Snuggle (I only had one coupon left, so still a lot as far as I know!). The Snuggle sheets were something like $4.29 but as far as I could make out they were not included in the mega sale. Also, I did not see any shelf labels on the Keebler Fudge Shoppe cookies indicating they were included, so I skipped those. Frankly, I was pretty disappointed they were already so low on things.

$1.49 quaker bars (have the $1/2)

$2.19 oatmeal (we are low and I have the $1.25/2)

listerine $3.50 (I've never paid attention b/c I usually buy it from CVS...but my ECB stash is quite low right now and we could use some...not desperate though)

ore ida potatoes $1.99 (have the $1.50/2)

heinz ketchup 1.49 (DO NOT have any coupons...but need ketchup...can wait until later in the week to go to sams if need be...but was hoping this was a good price...if it is I might order/trade some coupons)

TIA!!!

Is this after coupon? I would say that $1.00 a box is okay, but I shoot for $0.50/box as a stock up price.

$2.19 oatmeal (we are low and I have the $1.25/2)

So this is about $1.60/box after coupon? I like to get these at $1.00/box but this is better than most if you just need some until the next great sale.

listerine $3.50 (I've never paid attention b/c I usually buy it from CVS...but my ECB stash is quite low right now and we could use some...not desperate though)

No idea on this one--so sorry!! The last time I bought some it was free at Walgreens, but that was at least 6 months ago.

I think this is a good price for Ore-ida. You might have done better at Meijers at the beginning of the month using both the $1.50/2 and the mealbox, but I missed that opportunity also.

heinz ketchup 1.49 (DO NOT have any coupons...but need ketchup...can wait until later in the week to go to sams if need be...but was hoping this was a good price...if it is I might order/trade some coupons)

well here's what I found today...

I don't think easy-mac is included

del-monte was the fruit on sale not dole...bummer! It was 2.19 for the bowls.

pace is $2.84

cereals I found included: all bran, raisin bran, apple jacks and rice krispies

nutrigrain bars are also included $1.99 :BigHand: (those go great with my $2/2 peelies)

the All small and mighty HE are the 32 loads, but the others are the 26 load.

scotch mini roller is $1.00

toll house morsels $1.99 (seemed like it included all the flavors...regular size bag)

johnson & johnson 15 oz stuff (powder/soap/shampoo) $2.50

desitin 2oz $2.50

q-tips $2.50

scotch tape $1.50 (for single rolls)

scotch tape double sided $2.50

scotch adhesive $1.00

As I had a nicely loaded up cart my youngest (the 2 year old) decided to be silly and sit on the edge of the cart. I stopped to get him but my stopping startled him and he fell head first onto the wonderful floor. Needless to say, my cart is still sitting at Kroger and I'm now home. It was rather scary in the sense that I couldn't get him to stand up for me.

But he has since walked a straight line, held a conversation, etc. Thankfully one of our closest friends happen to be brain specialist...so the first people I called were them to make sure they thought he was at least okay. I'm sure he sustained a little blow, but there isn't anything that Children's can do for him...just keep our eye on him for right now. At least he's acting like his normal self...UGH!!!

Did I mention that I actually got the last of some things and was oh so happy only to have to leave them all. :shrug7: The life of a mom sometimes. Tomorrow is another day...right!

Hate to say it, but with people saying they intend to buy 100 tunas or 60 boxes of potatoes, I am guessing none of us should be surprised if there are continued stocking issues into next week.

Yes, I think there will be stocking issues. But I think most of us here do spread between many different stores, for good coupon karma. I do not want to see this thread turn into a debate, but let's all try to be courteous and not clear shelves.....I usually spread between 6 stores time permitting.

My local Kroger had a good stock of everything. I got 30 tuna today at different times and there was still plenty after each time I got it. Plenty of Snuggle, LOADS of the milk. All three kinds. They had it in both spots at my Kroger, too. Also (and maybe this si the wrong spot and maybe someone already mentioned it) at my Kroger the free Dole tropical fruit prints a catalina. I think it's a $.50 for every four. Since I am getting quite a bit it's very nice. :D When I bought 16 I got 4 x $.50. SOrry to hear all your stores are low on the items. Yeah I only bought a few of each item as I know we have a week and alot of Krogers to go to. I have a 100 coupons for tuna but will only buy a few at a time. This little bag of tuna only makes my hubby lunch once. I have two teenage DS and a DH who eat alot and this will save us a bunch of money, but I never clear the shelves unless there is only one or two. I even only bought 1 snuggle, someone else had already cleared the shelves of my favorite blue one!! We have all week and I can only go in the evening after work. I think there should be enough for everyone. I only did 1 trip and that is all I plan on doing each day.

I went to my nearest store early this afternoon and they had plenty of everything. I bought some but I only had tuna coupons, 1 cheez it coupon, 1 snuggle, 3 all, etc. you get the picture. not that many.

went back 3 hours later, No tuna, half the milks are gone, ALL the dole mandarin oranges were gone (my kids love these so even at .50 a can its a deal for me), half the tropical fruit was gone and ALLLLL the butter was gone. crazy.

I have a few days now before I get any more coupons. so I'll hit a few stores in search of oranges until then.

I TOTALLY AGREE I got up at Krogers at 830 to get my 2 of each items
I only buy two papers each week..and this is the first time I was able
to get what I wanted because usually the shelves are cleared...:sad:Hate to say it, but with people saying they intend to buy 100 tunas or 60 boxes of potatoes, I am guessing none of us should be surprised if there are continued stocking issues into next week.

I agree. This is definitely an issue at the store I shop at. I don't know if there are shelf clearers at my store or not, but the fact is, if 50 people come in and each buy 5 of something, it doesn't take long to run out of it. The thing that amazes me is that they always seem to be scratching their heads like they had no idea it was such a good deal. I guess not many of them are couponers?

SavinginOhio
10-27-2009, 08:37:02 AM
Tylenol 8 hour is included, but it is not $2.50. The 24 count is either $3.50 or $4.50 (I really think $4.50) after mega. Still probably $2.50 after the $2 Q.

I got a pretty good deal on Motrin. 24 ct is $2.50 and I have several $1/1 Q's.

I know it's not free, but I really have no problem paying .37 for 3 cans of chili! Especially since the turkey chili is included.

Other good deals/not freebies I found (IMHO) are:

ICBINB butter sticks for cooking/baking - $1 for 2 after Q - great for christmas cookies!
.24 cheezits after $1.50/2 Q.
.29 del monte canned tomatoes after $1/5 Q.
$2.49 after Q for milkbones - I am almost out of free Hartz biscuits from KMart.
$1 after Q for scotch brite dishwashing wand refill 2 packs.

Is the chili any good? DH isn't a huge fan of canned chili...but if it is good AND since it is only $0.12/1...it might be worth a little investing. I mean...for .12 can...it is a good donation item and probably well like...yes?

I like getting them for free, but...

Danimal yogurt is a good deal. $1.49 - $1 coupon = $0.49. Yes, meijer usually has them free every 3-4 months...but this is good if you need to stock up.

The Chili is not my fav (my husband makes great homemade chili) but I like to use it to make easy con queso dip. Nuke it with some velveeta, add hot sauce to taste, and voila.....

hillaryef
10-27-2009, 12:16:28 PM
now that's an interesting idea...using it for dip. I like my chili, but there isn't always a lot to go around (people seem to appear at our house the day I make chili...kind of random how that works...:giggle2:) So having canned chili for dip sounds like a good idea!

Also in the 10-4(i think) ss there are coupons for playtex living, these aren't moneymakers but are free if you need them, they also triggered the 1.00 catalina coupon. Lastly if you register at dole you can print 2 coupons for ANY canned dole fruit. Hope this helps! Don't foget about the pedigree dog food...60 after mega discount with b1g1 they are .05 a can!

I love this sale also!!!

Oh, and I wanted to say, Kroger Landen--I owe you an apology. Tonight I went and your shelves were fully stocked with evaporated milk. Thank you. I only needed four cans but you pulled through!!

BTW, Landen has tons of the milk (end cap and in aisle) and the chili (I am not buying any). They were out of the Swiss Miss--may have to get a raincheck on that. Otherwise, lots of Snuggle still (one blue bottle left--someone mentioned they liked that kind??). I didn't check on the tuna because I am not buying any (so sorry!!).

BTW, I am not sure I noticed anyone mentioning the PF Garlic Bread. It is $1.49 after mega so $0.69 after the $0.40/1 coupon (doubled). This seems like a good price to me. Too bad my freezer is so full things fall out when I open it.

I am ISO an opinion on the I can't believe it's not butter sticks. Are they any good? We are an all butter family over here.

I really want to get some garlic bread but I might wait until next week so hopefully I'll have more room then.

Colleen, do you need the full mega list? I picked one up at Kroger today. It doesn't have prices obviously, but I could PM you with the list.

Manders, do you mean you can't find the brownies?? I haven't looked for those unfortunately--I am still trying to work my way through all the BC ones I bought 6-8 months ago. I do love the Ghirardelli ones though. Good luck finding them! You are a serious super-shopper with all those trips you made yesterday!
