You would be insane, you forget we do have limits

True, but Houston DOES have a LOT of stores, and I'm guessing at least 90% of them still do 3d/t ... could drive from one to the next, to the next, to the next ... Heck, even buying just one thing, between time and traffic, that could take all weekend (if you started Friday evening)!! ... 'course it'd probably take a tank of gas to hit all of them ... (calculate, calculate, ... hmmmm, scratch head ...):wink7:

use the overage from the BC Potatoes for the Land O Lakes Butter !!! LOL!
My Main Transaction (son gets pizza on fridays if he doesn't have behavior issues at school all week LOL)
Tombstone X 2 = 4.98 -1.50/2
Cheez It X 2 = 2.98 - 1.50/2
BC Potato X3 = 3.00 - 2.25 (.75*3)
Bumble BeeX 3 = 3.00 - 1.65 (.55*3)
Total after C/O's = 7.06 - $5 discount = 2.06 for Cheez its and Pizzas...not bad!

YAY! I am excited!!! Wondering about the size of Heinz ketchup and Listerine. I hope Listerine is 1L. I have a mq from the company for up to $15!!! Had a problem with (5) 0.5L bottles of YUCKY tasting Listerine. They mailed me the mq in exchange for the product. If it is 1L, I can buy 5 liters of Listerine for $2.45!!!
Walmart has 32oz Heinz for $2.09 (I believe), which brings it down to $0.04 per oz. Hope Kroger can beat it. DH does not eat other brands of ketchup.

The Banquet coupons came from the frozen meals (usually $1 or so) they were on sale for .79 at Tom Thumb on two of the new kinds, I don't know the end date of the sale, but they package has a big blue stripe that says "Save $6" and the whole inside of the box is covered with coupons. I read about it here: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/hyvee/281202-neat-q-find-banquet-tv-dinners.html

yes they will all d/t. as long as they have different barcodes, which they obviously do because theyre different $ amounts lol. the only time they wouldnt is like if theyre both the same amount, but from different weeks. carnation milk is used a lot in baking i guess. ive used it to make mashed potatoes, instead of using regular milk. tastes the same but i dont use it often because i like to make enough to last a couple days, and they seem to go bad by the next day (even refrigerated) using the carnation.

I only got about 40 cans or so, and it lasted less than 6 months. I made lots of eggnog with mine, anything that calls for milk - mac n cheese, lipton pasta sides, pudding mix, lots of recipes. I also used mine in coffee, both hot and iced.
I always had an open can in the fridge to use a dash in something.
I'm hoping to get more than 6 months worth this time, the only thing I had to buy fresh milk for was drinking and cereal, that saved me SO much money!!

the week those qs came out, some areas got 1.75 or 2.00 off 32 load. personally i traded for 1.75...way easier to find and only .25 difference. my overage from other stuff will eat that up pretty quick lol.

Not just a printable list, but if you go to the coupon database(orange toolbar at the top of your screen) you can request to just see printables. Then type in a product you are searching for, vague names are best since spelling errors can cause errors in coupons showing up.

I have 2 questions:
1. If you end with an overage do they hand you the $ or do you lose it??
2. If your coupon is over the price of the product, do they apply the overage to you total or do they adjust the price of the coupon?:confused58:

Manders, the toy voucher is on specially marked packages of Keebler. It will say something on the package to the effect of $10 toy voucher and will have tokens you cut out, like Kellogg's always does for their cereal and pop tart rebates.
Texasproud, Kroger does not allow for overage so you will lose it. Mega deal is the only time we get overage really and it is because the items will scan at .50 more than scenario prices and then a lump sum $5 will come off the whole purchase for each 10 participating items purchased, that is WHY and HOW we get overage
Ex, Snuggle will ring up $3.49, then the coupon will scan for $3 off, then the register will take .50 more off, but not directly off the Snuggle but as a $5 credit at the end of the receipt.
Hope that is clear.

hi all, I am little confused here. If I buy 20 mega items in one transaction, Kroger only deduct $5(not $10)
If I do two separate transaction for each 10 mega items, they deduct $5 for each time. That means $10 for two separate transaction. Am I correct or wrong here????

If you will look on the bottom left corner of the page there are "Useful Links" that have really helped me to catch on with all the rules and lingo, etc. There is one titled "Abbreviations, Acronyms and Coupon Terms" that is super! HTH
Thanks! It's pretty sad I've been hanging out on this forum for nearly a year and have't checked that out yet! :)

Ok, confirmed BB tuna is PREMIUM. Sweetwater already has a pretty display I took a picture of, lol
Confirmed they have NO Snuggle under 32 loads, so we should be good there.
They have displays of Carnation, so no running out of that.

Thank you I was getting worried about the tuna(was waiting for someone to confirm) DH eats 1-2 pouches a day, so now to get more q's. Also I had no idea that we get overage on mega deals, I am loving this mega sale :dance7:

Sorry guys! I am trying to keep up with you younguns but my head is spinning! I don't know the price of the nailsavers because they are not in the ad so we have to wait to see our pricing
I hear playtex gloves are part of it in some regions too, but again we will not have the price until it begins.
I have started my google doc too, but it is FAR from complete.
Feel free to check it out on my blog.:wink7:

I have decided if I can get it for free and no one in my family eats eat, I will just donate it to the foodbank. Hopefully it would benefit someone that doesn't mind the fishy taste. ;)

yes they will all d/t. as long as they have different barcodes, which they obviously do because theyre different $ amounts lol. the only time they wouldnt is like if theyre both the same amount, but from different weeks. carnation milk is used a lot in baking i guess. ive used it to make mashed potatoes, instead of using regular milk. tastes the same but i dont use it often because i like to make enough to last a couple days, and they seem to go bad by the next day (even refrigerated) using the carnation.

I'll get the ad in the mail this evening and post EXACTLY what is listed...
okay, this probably isn't going to be well-accepted by some, but ... it seems like this post offended people who took this as a personal insult on Amni ...
Maybe it's just me, but my first reaction reading it was, "okay, this person's like me and likes to have the oz/lbs, etc in the list so she knows if Qs listed are for what's on sale ... or, if it's a different size/variation of the product than the Qs listed." so she's going to list that when she gets the ad, and answer some people's questions with that additional info.
(i.e., was telling my sis Snuggles and Stouffers on sale, she said, "Sure!" then asked, "sheets or liquid and what count/size? and individual, family, or huge stouffers?" Told her probably ~32-wash quart sized liquid, but I didn't buy enough Stouffers to know costs on them.)
If what I've stated above, was OP's thought, perhaps she could have been worded it differently to avoid confusion ... then again, maybe she didn't realize it would be taken differently than how she meant it.
Whether we always say so or not, I think we all appreciate the early posts. I know it helps me decide whether to buy something Tuesday or wait until Wednesday and get it cheaper! ... So, thanks Amni for early post, and thanks ZM for matchups! (and, if my "take" of christy's post was correct, thanks for the offer of adding oz/lbs, etc.!)
... just MHO:smile:

sounds like you're gonna need more than one basket for all that! ... and that is if everything on your list is still in stock or came in as the store expected (sometimes not, and it's not just Qponers that love good deals). I have no idea if computers will do 20 mega deals in one transaction .. if no one on here responds, you might want to check with service desk and/or manager and make sure before you go. True, the ad may not state a limit, but I don't know if registers are capable of that without errors. -- Heck, don't know if I am capable of that without errors ... (say I want to get 10 of item x, but they only have 9 on shelf so I have to remember to get 11 of something else).
I'm sure you've already done this, but you might want to double-check and make sure you aren't expecting more than 3d/t-like Qs with all these items. It can get confusing with an order that size! (at least, for me, it would!)
Bottom line, I would do it in at least 2 orders ... but that's just me. I might have them in 2 baskets and (as you say) have someone with me to push the second cart and get in line behind me, use my card, and me pay, but still 2 orders.

7 snuggle, 10 bc potato, 6 milk, 9 hormel, 1 dole tropical fruit, 7 tuna. Would have been negative, cashier didn't scan a snuggle, paid $2.94. No coupon for the Dole. Had a .40 bc shortcut that came off, also. The bumble bee doesn't beep and gives you .05 overage.

Here's my advice to newbies...DON'T WAIT TIL THE LAST MINUTE TO GO AND DO THE DEALS!!!
I made that mistake a couple of times and then if something goes wrong I'm screwed!
I am going to do some major shopping!!!! I am trying to build up a food stockpile versus just buying a couple of each item.

Uncle Bens Ready Rice 8.5-8.8 oz buy 6 get $1

Ok, twice now I have gone and forgot to look at the price of the Surf detergent. If anyone can tell me that price, I will kiss your feet!
Did 50 more items at lunch and found a NEW favorite cashier! I usually avoid this lady because if you hand her all your coupons at once, she misses several. Well, I had no choice so went to her line and just handed a few coupons at a time. Well, this lady is wack! When I gave her the Ricola coupons with $1 already written on them by me(thought I would help her) she insisted that was not correct and the register was telling her she had to give me $2.19.
I nicely told her that was probably the max, but the cough drops were indeed on sale for $1 and that is when she insisted she was not allowed to override what the computer told her:BigHand: Needless to say, I had to pocket some coupons to keep from going negative:hysterical:
