By the way went to two stores both had signs saying that the Hormel chili is part of the mega deal only till today 11/03/09 and will not be included in tomorrows ad so if you still have coupons get rid of them fast. So now to come up with super low OOP again without the pouch potato MM. I had several deals where I got 20 items for $2.00 or less, but most of those were done with the BC potatoes. It will be a challenge to duplcate that without the potatoes.

That may be true, but my past experience has been that two or three items usually get modified/added/deleted on the second week. I remember one time Lean Cuisines were on one week but not another.

So I'm hesitant to plan any deals with the pouch potatoes until someone confirms that they're still on the deal when they go into the store, or if I happen to stop by and check myself.

So just watch those prices don't assume they are the same as last week. Has anyone else noticed this on any other items?

The Rolaids were marked up to 3.19 and 2.69 after discount. I am so frustrated. And to top it off, my store doesn't carry any Promise Butter!!! Where in North Houston can I still get those great deals this week?????????

They do!! Last week I used a $1 off any potato store coupon and used a $1 produce manu coupon also:biggrin: It's not very often you get both though b/c normally their store coupons are on kroger products. BUT it does happen:smile:

I shop NW Houston. The Halls were $1.29 before mega sale, Rolaids were $2.19 before Mega sale. Also I was able to find the Promise butter.

The Krogers by me raised their price on the Rolaids from $0.99 to $1.19 which still was not bad... But when I went to use the coupons they pulled the old only 3 like coupons... Threw me off since they were taking unlimited all week...lol

I ended up going to Target with them and found some rolaids for a doller something... ended up doing better at Target.....

I brought a couple of bags of Ricola, Halls and Rolaids to work this morning and put them in the break room for everyone to help themselves. I also brought my receipt for "show and tell" so when anyone asked me about the free stuff, I showed them how I got $140 of groceries for less than $5. I got so much response from people wanting to know my secrets that I had to put together an email of links and tips and sent it out as "couponing 101". I've only been at this a couple of months, but it is so much fun saving all this money, that I can't help but get a little carried away! Before today, I was already the office "desigNERD" but now I'm becoming the "coupoNERD." :D
