I can't seem to modify the size of the pic...sorry so big!!
If you have a Publix near you --you might want to get them to price match the Theraflu at 2/$7 and you have a GREAT MONEY MAKER!!
Buy 3 Theraflu
Use a $3/2 from 10/18/09 SS
Use a $1.50/1 from 10-18-09 SS
Use the $2/1 Walgreens coupon from Healthy Saving Booklet

That would be wonderful, but it's probably not for all stores....I have heard of CVS's doing this only in areas where there is a lot of competition.

I wish this was nationwide but I know its wishful thinking :giggle2:
Stores with smaller ads don't even ad match big cities' full paged ads, I don't expect these stores to ad match competitors.
this must be another one of their YMMV rules. Good for those who have this new policy!

My CVS did this with pharmacy transfers only to compete with a newly opened Target.

Thanks for the tip! I'm in a small town, no CVS, but I know several assistant managers at my store and they have been concerned about sales being down, so maybe just maybe we'll get in on this!

mcatwood, since you have the photo, would you mind emailing Walgreens corp. and find out if this will be offered nationwide or if it's just per individual store? The picture would likely add value to the email and just maybe corp. will implement this policy nationwide. Maybe?

I updated with the Publix/Wags Theraflu scenario --
I can’t guarantee that all stores are price matching…but based on my experience–it certainly will not hurt to ask http://www.iheartsavingmoney.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif I will happily take a $7+ money maker per transaction!!

Usually this kind of pricematching offer is due to a high level of competition in the local area.
All of the retailers are fighting for shares of the same pie.

There is a fairly new Walgreens in Strongville, OH on West 130th Street.

Q) What does that CVS store do?
A) It plasters its store's windows with signs that it will gladly honor Walgreens' print ads and coupons.

Q) On your camera, can you change the resolution (quality) of your photographs?
If you can, you want a lower resolution.

If you position your cursor on the photograph and then do a right mouseclick you will pull up a menu.
Choose: PROPERTIES
+
Look at the two following attributes:
• Image dimensions: 1024px x 1365px
- and -
• Size of file: 154.41 KB (158,119 bytes)

You want a smaller resolution (less than 1024px x 1365px)
