Just wondering about this...didn't someone else on this board mention that Meijer checkouts will beep it OOP drops below a "profit level"?
For example, the ziploc coups were working fine (mfg & mmbc) until the sandwich bags went on sale, with an mfg lowering the price, & a $2 catalina OYNO printing.
Now, the $1.50 mfg for the men's Sure deodorant is beeping when the OOP is 39 cents (both self and regular checkouts).
Maybe some of these Meijer coup beeping problems are because the system is triggered when the customer gets a price and Meijer figures it's too cheap.
In the past, it's seemed to me that Meijer isn't putting products that are free with a mfg on the shelf until after the coup expires...for example electra sol, the Chef Michael mini bags of dog food, and that new Ideal lo-cal sweetener.
What do you think?
